No, the harrow deck is not something of divine power. It can be if one wishes to use it that way but no it is not defaulted that way.

@Nixis, there is no Death, Talon, or Ruin in the harrow deck.
Harrow Deck
This is a link to all the cards in the harrow deck, I only ask that your learn them if you're in the party with Zeldana. Because her whole class revolves around the Harrow Deck and it is far different then the tarot decks we have. Normally I would not care if it was just fluff but Zel has abilities that use the harrow deck and will later on go into the Harrower prestige class.

It does and it is labeled the Harrow Deck of Many Things. The cards do different things from each deck and the harrow deck of many things has more cards. The deck of many things has 22 cards where the harrow deck has 54. You've a better chance pulling from a Deck of Many things than the Harrow one. Though the Harrow one does have a funny card called The Marriage! Its effect is what you think it is... some what: A comely genie of the character’s preferred gender appears and proposes marriage. Should the character accept, he must organize a lavish wedding ceremony by the end of the week and ever after be committed to this exotic outsider. If the character declines or breaks his wedding vow, the genie is heartbroken and returns to his or her home plane, provoking the ire of the associated elemental court. The genie’s type, personality, actions, and possible retribution are determined by the GM.

Hey all
I have no Internet for seven hours or so. Typing from a phone right now. All my files are on my computer, so i cannot send them online.
So, the choice will be delayed a day, sorry to allow for me to give character feedback.
Again sorry for the delay.

General note
Remember we are using background skills. That's 2 extra skill points per level on a specific list of skills.
Dead languages thalassian yes, azlanti no. And you cannot speak thalassian well, mostly written.
Check your feats
Some have too many.


I have my 2 points in background skills and double checked my feats, so I should be okay... let me know if you spot anything that needs fixing... thanks.

Yay, nets back up, and much earlier than I wa told.
Here is some feedback for you all. If you have already corrected what I have talked about, disregard. also, I'm not perfect, so if I am incorrect about something in your character, speak up.

Overall stuff
Could every note how many ranks thay have in each skill. Makes it a whole lot easier to track skill points.
You must have a resonable reason to speak Tian or Minkian. Some of you have listed the languages as known, but have no background to explain this.

Alekzander Ingerbalaur
Check the number of languages. Remember, due to race choices you don’t get celestial automatically. So, common, auto, INT, gives another, and the one point of linguistics gives three. Also, what is your bloodline? It’s not noted

Cale Vatay
You are first level, not second as on your sheet. Also, I cannot find an obtain familiar feat. You have not chosen a campaign trait. Also, the red hand fetish trait, where is the write up for that one? Also, do you have a languages known list?

Anjelica
Your character looks good (five feats at level one, that was an eye opener). You have made a lethal archer. One issue though, I see nothing in your background to give cause for your drawback, meticulous. Could I suggest lonely, or over protective, either which would reflect your great loss. Also, could you note a bit about your personality, and such. Do your friends in town know of your loss, and how do they react to you now, and you to them.

Well written, nice character. A few questions. You have eight level one witch spells, I would have thought you have just six. Why can you speak tian and minkian? It is not reflected in your background.

Oh lord a gnome . Nice character idea. You have a lot of feats listed (six in all), but no mounted combat? Seems a lot. Also, there is no equipment list I can find.

I like your background, never thought of doing it that way. Your background is good, but doesn’t explain how you learned to be a monk. It’s not something a fey could teach. Also an aasimar also gets celestial as a language. Also, also, no equipment list. And another also, (sorry) have you noted your background skills?

Interesting character. A few things. I believe the Tattooed sorcerer gets mage’s tattoo at level one, Varisian tattoos are different. Next, you have three feats, by my count you should have two, one standard and mages tattoo, a bonus feat. You have the abomination psychic discipline, but this isn’t reflected in your background that I can see. I would think it would. And the body guard? Is he around?

Koran
Ok, your equipment list is sparse, is it complete? A nice idea for a character should play well. Seems up to code.

Emilio
Had some doubts about your character (not fond of most 3pp) but I like your character. Good background, and all your class abilities are listed. Personally, I would have gone with the slayer class, or ninja, since the stalker resembles them, but you got to go with what you like. You need to detail your equipment.


Alek has the Truespeaker alternate racial ability that gives two languages per linguistics point so that answers that and added bloodline to class name.


Feats: It's an artifact of this feat system the original recruitment was using. The HeroLab mod counts you as having the feats like Power Attack and Deadly aim that are no longer feats, just options. The only one I actually selected was Precise Shot. I'll pick up Mounted Combat soon.

Equipment: Check the Animal Companion Crunch Spoiler. Because of how low the gnome's carry capacity is, I put it all in the wolf's saddlebags.

also here is backstory, for convenience sake:
Cale's father was a stage magician for a traveling theater/carnival called the Umbral Circus (around expert 6, bard 1) his mother worked with them as a medicine woman (adept class, somewhere around Lvl 3 to 5 or so maybe with a level of alchemist) and fortune teller so because of their jobs Cale had always been fascinated with real magic, and because of the stories they would tell he always wanted to be a hero, to have his name go down in legend
While he was at the carnival he worked the firework display and did a firebreathing act and worked with the animals.

Ever since he found that what his father did for a living was mostly fake, he vowed to learn real magic and real swoedsmanship and become the greatest wizard... No... Greatest hero ever known.
He took the first opportunity he could to leave his family after that point, signing up to be a bodyguard for an elf family, in particular the daughter as a result of her awakening new and powerful Psychic magics, in exchange for watching over the young woman the family taught him magic and tactics and alchemy, and he served them for a few years before the two of them left her parents to research ancient Thasolonian magics, and Cale'anon decided to continue to act as her Bodyguard, despite no longer being taught by her parrents. Cale'anon woeked as her bodyguard and magical assistat. One day he noticed That she had been burning herself out when he heard about the festival and eventually managed to convince her to live a little and join the party.

Hmm. I'd been thinking only of combat uses, in which case a 1d3-2 dagger is pretty pointless. But I guess I can use it out of combat (though I'll have to work hard to do more than nonlethal damage to my steak. lol)

3 spells at 1st level + 4 more spells for the 18 in Int = 7 So I do have 1 too many and I shall remove one.

Zeldana knows Tien and Minkian from the family trips over the crown Of the world. Tien Xia is the main travel destination for caravans that go over the crown Of the world.

Actually, the Varisian Tattoo is exactly the same thing as the Mage tattoo. It's just RAW(Because the book they are from says Varisian and Archives of Nethis writes them as they are really written)

That website changes alot of the rules so that they are not campaign specific and can be used in places other than Galorian.

You are right... I was thinking the monk training would be enough to explain the 'meticulous' trait, but 'overprotective' suits her much more... not crazy about the affects of it, but it is perfect for her - I changed her drawback accordingly.

I will add some info about her personality and address your other questions in her background section.

Celestial is not a language if you're a Scion of Humanity, so that's as-intended, since I took the Scion of Humanity alternate racial trait.

I don't exactly think of Monk in terms of monastic teaching, flavor-wise. At least not in Dakash's case. It's much more like an observant, quiet, zen martial artist type of thing, which could be self-taught. If you'd prefer a more formal education, it could certainly be the case that Dakash's mother sent him away for schooling after "The Incident" for awhile, and he's only recently returned.

I also have a quick question - I would really like to be able to use both flurry of blows and shillelagh with the same 1-handed weapon.

As it stands, I cannot flurry with a club, and I cannot use shillelagh with a Tonfa, which is the "monk club."

I would love to be able to either use shillelagh on a tonfa, since it's basically a hunk of wood with a nob sticking out, or use flurry of blows with a club. Thoughts?

I've tried out a lot of melee POW characters but not an archer. Wanted to give it a try. Doubt that will change. I thought I had given him at least some gear but I guess not. Also need to choose some maneuvers but I figured that at least could wait until after knowing whether I was in or not.
