Please post the usual stuff:
1. Character's Name
2. Class and Level
3. PFS# (and dash)
4. Faction
5. Day job Roll (if any)

![]() |

1. Elska, Mammut Princess
2. Hunter 2, Zen Archer 2
3. 75958-12
4. Grand Lodge
5. I'm holding off on the Day Job until the end again, in case I want to use that faction card box.
I still have some purchases I need to work out.

![]() |

1. Miyako_Okori
2. Oracle 5
3. PFS# 115025-6
4. The Exchange
5. Diplomacy (Caravan Vanity), +5 from Faction Journal Card Reward: 1d20 + 12 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 5 = 30 = 75 gp

![]() |

1. Beauregard
2. Brawler 5
3. 60921-10
4. Grand Lodge (I have the first and second ability for the Season 6 card)
5. None :( I probably should get one of these, usually Bo just heads down to the pub for a pint while it all blows over between missions!

I'm dotted in. I deleted my dot post, but I'm here. :)

Determining Subtier --
Looks like we will now have 3 @ 5th (Bo, Kelson, Miyako) and 3 @ 4th (Giltman, Elska, Mido). If that's correct then we have an APL of 4.5.
So the choice is yours!! Round down we will play subtier 3-4 / round up we will play subtier 6-7 w/ the 4 player adjustment.
Thoughts?
If you are on the fence and want to wait, after I have a quick look I'll very generically let you know if I think playing up is an overly deadly mistake.

![]() |

I think my vote would be to play down. We don't have any character who are even in tier for the upper subtier. That can prove dangerous. On top of that, my own character has not been super effective. Nuk will be a little bit better now that he has more hp, but Elska's martial attacks are still suffering from taking levels in two 3/4 BAB classes.
That said, I will gladly follow the desires of the rest of the group. I just wanted to share what my thoughts on the subject were.

![]() |

Just realized this is a "lantern lodge" scenario. I want to switch to my old lantern old PC if I can. (qstor aka Kelson) I'll update him tonight with the character sheet just on his profile here. He's 6th.
But if you guys want arcane/healing I'll play Kelson.

![]() |

Will be getting started later today. I think Master Mido is the only one that hasn't dotted in.
@Kelson/Toshiro -- I'm good with whatever.
If you use Toshiro that puts the game into the higher subtier with the 4 player adjustment.
6+5+5+4+4+4= 28 / 6 = 4.6667, rounds up to 5.
So up to you all.

![]() |

@ Qstor: I'm ok with either character, honestly. :)
You should play whichever is more enjoyable. I think we'd be fine either way.

Definitely almost missed that Giltman should have leveled up! I'll take care of that right now, before we get deep into the scenario. He's now level 4.
EDIT: He's leveled now, and he's buying two scrolls of daylight and upgrading his adamantine light hammer to a +1 adamantine light hammer. :)

![]() |

@Giltman - I thought so, cause I've GMd him 3 times at level 3 -- lol. We are still waiting for Master Mido to check-in, so no rush.

I think the Ioun Torch counts as Continual Flame, which overcomes darkness, doesn't it?

![]() |

Continual flame when cast by a sorcerer/wizard (such as on an ioun torch) and darkness will cancel one another out so that normal lighting conditions prevail—usually that means normal darkness.
Continual flame cast by a cleric/oracle will overpower darkness, but not deeper darkness. Daylight overpowers darkness and negates deeper darkness.
Continual flame or daylight (or even light or dancing lights) when heightened to 4th level, will overpower even deeper darkness (unless it has also been heightened).
The trouble with scrolls of daylight or continual flame is that you must read them for them to function. That means you need to cast them before you get into the sticky situation of having darkness dropped on you.
I have an oil of daylight already, and I don't mind using it if we need to, so I don't think it will be a problem. But it is worth considering backup options.
:)

Bo bought a belt of Giant's Strength +2 for 4000 gold.

![]() |

Gang I'm out of town on business and this may limit my ability to keep us going as quick as we normally move...I might not be able to get a full post in till tonight, will do my best. Cheers!

![]() |

No worries. We can RP among ourselves. :)

![]() |

I'm back home, gang, and should be able to get back to normal. Sorry for the slow week. Cheers!

No worries here! I've been super busy recently, so the lull was nice. :)

![]() |

@Kelson No worries -- I'm jealous! Love to cruise. Where all does you cruise go?
During that time I'll bot Kelson, if that okay?
I doubt we will be done by that then. Seems like most of the PbP games I run take 6 weeks + or - 1 week.

![]() |

I'll be having a busy Valentine's weekend, so feel free to bot me as necessary.

![]() |

@Chaosorbit to the Bahamas I'll have to bring for the WiFi for a few days to post. Its my first time.
Sweet! Have fun. :D

![]() |

Hey guys, I'm really sorry that I got behind in this game. I had a rough week. I will be more on top of it from here on out. Thank you for understanding.

![]() |

Yeah also I forgot to move my mini, I'll need someone to put me in the room like 10-15 feet

![]() |

@ Bo: Isn't brawler's flurry a full-round action?

![]() |
2 people marked this as a favorite. |

@Elska/Bo -- I believe this is correct, flurry is always a full round, unless Bo has some cool feat or ability.
That said Mido's + Bo's damage will drop the rat.

![]() |

Ah you're correct, sorry it was a pretty hectic day yesterday, I was just trying to get a post off.

![]() |

what do we think the plan is here? Our job was to neutralize her right? I was just riffing in hopes of getting close to her, but now I've done that. Are we for the most part ready to battle?

I just set fire to her.
We can just neutralize her and get the info from her (corpse) later.

![]() |

And here my plan was to stuff her in the chest! I guess we can still do that.

![]() |

@ Chaosorbit: How is the ratfolk hiding? Didn't he just attack?

![]() |

She has a Supernatural ability that allows her to "hide in plain sight". It allows her to make a stealth check if their are shadows in the room and the scenario tactics specifically say she uses the pillars, which are casting shadows to activate the Su.

![]() |

Ah. Thanks for the clarification. :)

Do any of you have the chronicle for #6–98: Serpents Rise with the boon Spoils of the Siege (Marnarius)? This could be for any dash number, not just this one.
