Everyone is standing looking at the glowing flames at this point and Tsuneo, gives Amara an accusing stair, as if he suspects the Pathfinders of betraying him. But the look of shock on the Venture Captain's face confirms otherwise.
Tsueno speaks, Amara, I know how to summon help, but it will take some time to arrive.
He moves over to the fireplace and presses a certain spot, a secret door pops open in the central chimney.
Come with me He says to the Venture Captain.
Amara speaks, This appears worse than I thought possible, I was so sure our location remained secret. Pathfinders remain behind and defend the house. If you can hold off the invaders you'll give the reinforcements time to arrive!
With that Tsueno, Amara, and the servants make there way through the secret door.
You estimated it will take a little while for the forces to make it to the house.
You have time for a few last minute preparations, and also tell me where you are positioning yourselves and what you plan to do.

I suggest we try to utilize our catapult as best we can to dwindle down their forces. Then retreat inside and find an easily defended location. Does anyone have magics with which to hold back our foes approach or damage them?

Mido, Oroz, and Giltman man the catapult. Marduk guards the door, Miyako readies her bow, and Yarricki stands at the ready.
Soldiers with torches march closer to the house along the path. Coming within range of the catapult. Master Mido takes aim.
Miyako can get some long shots away as well.
Catapult team has time to get 4 shots away; Miyako up to 12 arrows.

"Marduk, get inside, so I can pour the oil over any attackers that approach the front doors! Their own torches will do the rest..."

The catapult team's first and third shots hit the mark, torches drop as the rocks land and you hear the screams of fallen men. Then over the shouting you see the troops to begin to scatter and extinguish their torches. A few moments later you see signs of troops emerging.

Shouldn't I first roll for those 12 shots I was able to make? It may reduce the number of enemies, and I may decide to go into melee or stay ranged based on their number.

After Miyako's flurry of arrows one of the troops looks very injuried as he approaches the house.

Miyako quickly moves inside when sees twelve arrows weren't enough to take even one of the enemies out. Once inside she puts her longbow on her back.
"'Kay, now let's wait to see what happens next..."

The troops continue toward the house, where you've all gathered.
You've had two rounds to prepare yourselves. So note anything else you might have done. Plus this new round. They'll move into the house on their next turn. So post any new actions or readied actions as well.

Master Mido blesses the party, while Giltman casts his spell. As the first of the troops round the corner to the entrance, Yarricki dumps the oil on them, as Miyako casts burning hands.
