We can all see him, even though he has some cover and concealment?

Assuming Cass can see the ghostly Wizard, she casts Ghostbane Dirge on the beastie. Will Save DC 16

If Cass cannot see the ghostie, then she'll cast Cure Light Wounds on herself CLW: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

You can see each other, but he has concealment from the water. Before your spell is cast, four maximized magic missiles pelt Cass in the chest for 20 points of damage automatically disrupting the spell. He readied his action vs. spell casting.

Question.
Do we hear the spell casting from the barred pit? Did we hear the casting then see the magic missiles?

If so I want to cast silence down in the hole deep enough that it should not mess with our casting on our level. (No access to book at the moment belive it is a 10 foot radius, so cast it 10 feet in the hole).

Yes to both questions. Just remember casting time is 1 round and you need to see the point of your target. It has a 20' radius. It is dimly lit in the room. Of course you could cast it on a object too.

Well, it doesn't "automatically" disrupt the spell. Cass get's a Concentration Check to be able to still cast the spell. In this case, her Concentration modifier isn't high enough to be able to maintain the spell, but that is the only reason the spell is lost.

"Drasven, the only reason I still stand is because of the healing you did last time around. More would be good, but we do need to do something about this creature as well."

Could someone remind me, when we were informed that we reached Level 5, have we had a chance to gain new spells from that level or not yet?

From roll20, exploit attempt (19 v DC 10+hardness) which fails unless age has softened the iron, making the flurry of attacks only if she feels she was successful, hit AC 30 for 7 damage and AC 26 for 9 and 5' step counter clockwise around the oubliette. Otherwise retreat to cover Windom.
@Cassandra, unless more have entered the fight, there are no rats remaining.

Religion DC 16:
An incorporeal creature can enter or pass through solid objects, but must remain adjacent to the object’s exterior, and so cannot pass entirely through an object whose space is larger than its own. It can sense the presence of creatures or objects within a square adjacent to its current location, but enemies have total concealment (50% miss chance) from an incorporeal creature that is inside an object. Here are the special mechanics for damaging the moldy spellbook. It’s a standard action to rip pages from the book—the carrier must pick which pages (and thus which spells) he wishes to destroy. Each time he does so, the Splatter Man’s ghost takes 1d6 points of damage + 1 additional point per spell destroyed. Ripping all of the pages out at once is possible for a larger overall damage bonus on that action, but ripping spells out one at a time will do more damage to the Splatter Man in the long run. Mold has destroyed most of the book’s contents, but nine spells do remain viable: comprehend languages, dispel magic, false life, gust of wind, illusory script, levitate, mage armor, magic missile, and summon monster IV.

Whomever is holding the Warden's badge, can discern its special ability. It appears on the loot list that no one is wearing the belt of DEX+2 either. There are a couple items that you have gathered that maybe useful.

Warden's Badge:
Can be used as a rod of lesser metamagic ectoplasmic spell. You must hold in hand to use.

Having taken a few seconds to think, nDevere realizes that she was so distracted by the filth of the jelly she had forgotten to don the prize from inside. She moves over to where Windom is making the quiet happen and retrieves the belt.

Going to speed this combat up now that silence has enveloped the room with a 40 foot diameter. Casters will need to be inside the secret door passage or at the room's corners to cast unless you have the Silent metamagic feat. The other entrance is barred.
