Jim shakes his head. Feck. Poor b@stard. Don't want to think about its mother.... He murmurs to the others, "Half-ogre. Strong, stupid."

Jim shares his analysis of the creature unaware that Kaul has already slipped inside.

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Frowning Dibbets whispers "Get in there... I'll keep tha bugger busy" before he slips a little away from the others and starts speaking "Hey you! Yeah you, biggun. Come o'er here... got summat special for ya"

Bluff:

Dice Roll:
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

The hulking figure currently bent over the corpse, straightens up and looks around the moonlit dock. "Who talk?" The caretaker asks peering closely at the spot where the voice seemed to come. He takes a couple shuffling steps forward squinting at the boards. "You tiny?"

Inside:
The dark room inside stinks of body odor and a trace of carrion.

Inside darkvision:
There is a door across the room beyond a big pile of discarded fabric and hay that must be a sleeping pallet.

Male Human Cleric 6+5 of Besmara | hp -20- 55/55 | AC 23, t 13, ff 20 | Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +8 | Init +6 | Perc +3 | Channel 0/3 | Storm Burst (Sp) 6/6 | Copycat (Sp) 2/6 | Insanity 3 (DC 10 Will) | Conditions: shaken

Corliss tries to sneak up to the open doorway but stops and steps to one side when he realizes he can't see much of anything in the dark chamber beyond.

Stealth Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

I have this really regrettable mental block about taking 10....

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Smirking invisibly Dibbets continues "Yeah, real small... gotta look hard. Over here, c'mon... ye want yer present?" trying to lead the half-ogre further away from the entrance.

Inside (Darkvision):

Kaul clocks the door and hopes that at least one of his shipmates is with him.

He hisses a low whisper to anyone near;

"Door otherside o' the room. Wait 'ere while I opens it up."

The invisible thug (great name for a band btw) creeps toward the portal...

Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

Cutting through the fetid stink you hear Kaul's hacksaw whisper;

"Door otherside o' the room. Wait 'ere while I opens it up."

Corliss stumbles entering the dark building, but the ogrekin is too engrossed in trying to find the wee man to notice. He shuffles after Dibbets' voice, bent over with his nose near the boards.

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Now fully committed to the ruse... Dibbets starts to see the flaws inherent in his planning. Bugger me, how tha feck does I gets past him an in mesel... and how does I tells iffin tha lads are safe an in...

Cap'n - with respect to the current layout. Is there a way for Dibbs to lead half-ogrish into an alley without a sight line back to the entrance? - or alternatively to the edge of a pier / wharf?

Male Taldan Human Free-Hand Fighter/5 Inspired Blade Swashbuckler/1+5 | AC 22 T 16 FF 17 | HP 42/62 NL0| F +5 R +7 W +5 | Init +3| Perc +7

While the half-ogre is distracted, Jim heads into the darkness, drawing his sword as he advances.

Stealth check, base: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

The Taldan manages to keep from running into anyone else in the party.

Dibbs- The building is at the end of a 20' wide dock so no alleys, but sea to either side. He's advanced about 15' from the door.

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Muttering "Blathering barnacles... should'a used me brain afore me mouth..." Dibbs takes a breath and decides to go whole hog. Summoning all the bullsh1tery and bluster he can manage he puts desperate note to voice, crying "Oh no... they've got me... Help! They're dragging me away... save me... please friend!" attempting to cast his voice such that it proceeds along the dock and into the city proper...

Bluff:
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

Jim slips into the building as Dibbets goes for the long shot. The ogreish oaf stands to his full height again and frowns deeply as he begins to suspect shenanigans. "Got no friends," he mumbles turning back to the body on the plate and in a single motion heaving it up and over his shoulder as easily as his dolly.

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Concerned now with the welfare of the others, Dibbets seeks to have the biggun stay outside with him a wee while longer. Shaking his head at the foolishness he conjures a tad bit of the Sky Lord's indifference, and conjures some saltwater to splash all over the half-ogre's noggin. He punctuates the dousing with a "Hey - don't ye be turning away frae me now! Ye... ye... wet blanket ye"

Assume casting create water is suitably interactive-y to dispel the invisibility effect?
It's 12 gallons of water - or 120 lb of drench splooshing down on him.

The li'l ogre sputters under the deluge and then turn on the scurfy halfling revealed. He pushes the wet, limp hair from his face with his deformed arm and glares down at Dibbets with baleful eyes. "What you do, little man?!"

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Channelling his inner Kaul-wrangling appeal to nuggety wisdom, Dibbets protrudes his bottom lip and fires back "What I do? What I do? What you do? I try and play, have fun, be friend... you no believe me." putting on his best hurt and sad expression before crossing his arms and turning away "Fine... I keep present, you go play with dead men.... bad friend!" punctuating the accusation with a turn of the head and blown raspberry.

Keeping his eyes from laying on the half-ogre, Dibbs hopes at least the big bugger's curiosity will see him continue to engage... or at least he'll feel the heavy footfalls as the bugger comes to crush his noggin to paste.

Skipper - What does Kaul discover at the door? Its status regards locked/open/whatnot will likely sway my course o' action.

Kaul- Door is closed, but not locked.

Male Half Orc Rogue (Thug) 6+5 | HP 20/70| AC 21/14/NA | F+5, R+9, W+2 | IP 1 | Perc +10 (+11 Freeport), Darkvision 60ft | Init +3 | Move: 30ft. | Status: Bleedin' 3, Rage 2/6 & -4 with Claw arm

Inside Kaul mugs a grin as he tries, then opens the door.

However rather than entering through the portal, the invisible thug slips his sap into a paw;

"Through ye go lads. I'll 'ang back an put ugly to sleep..."

The next room has a dirty window that filters in the moonlight. At least enough to show a pale rectangle of the open door to guide Jim and Corliss.

Male Taldan Human Free-Hand Fighter/5 Inspired Blade Swashbuckler/1+5 | AC 22 T 16 FF 17 | HP 42/62 NL0| F +5 R +7 W +5 | Init +3| Perc +7

Dingus almost forgets he's supposed to be quiet and almost claps and laughs at Dibbs joke... but instead decides to add to the fun.

"Slippy, slippy slidey".

Cast Grease underneath the thugs feet, trying to not capture his little friend in the area. DC 15 Save.

Initiative Rolls:
Dibbets- 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Keelhaul Kaul- 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Madman Jim- 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Corliss-1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Dingus- 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
foe- 1d20 ⇒ 9

Outside- D&D:
The childish ogrembino opens his mouth to give an angry reply just as a sneaky sorcerer appears and the boards turn slick with conjured grease. His wide feet slip and slide, but somehow he stays standing and surfs to safety. With a bellow he rushes at the little liar. Dibbets up

Inside-Corliss:
Near the front door, Corliss hears things going badly outside. He also hears Kaul's whisper to move forward and freezes, unsure which way to go.

Inside-Kaul:
No telling, but Kaul hopes his companions hear his direction. He grabs his sap and begins moving toward the exit. A few moments too late from the ruckus rising outside.

Inside-Jim:
The faint moonlight filtering from the window in the wall to your right reveals a hall extending to your left. Three humanoid shapes are barely seen in the shadows at the other end.

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Outside D&D:
The sudden appearance of the grease leads Dibbet's prehistoric mind t'wards some inkling of what's transpired. As an attempt to keep big and stompy busy the filthy halfling drops any pretence and dives for the side of the wharf...
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13 - to dodge any AoO or the like, Dibbets is going to try and make the edge of the pier, then swing underneath - looking to keep the biggun busy outside with a commotion.
...aiming to get himself out of clear clubbin' range before he opens his mouth again.

Outside D&D:
The corpse drops onto the greasy deck and Dibbets feels as much as hears heavy tread approaching. With only a glance over his shoulder at the looming ogrekin, Dibbets hops to the edge of the dock grabbing at the edge to swing under. He has too much speed though and overshoots, grabbing air as he plummets into the water below. The angry giant stands at the edge of the moonlit dock staring at the spot where the halfling sank.

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Outside D&D:
Dibbets looks to break surface underneath the pier, putting his scraggly head above water and calling out to the half-ogre (loudly so that Dingus can hear he's well) "Well pity that, but nei matters. Oi! Lugnut, down here!"

Inside - Corliss:

The Besmara hesitates when he hears potential trouble back outside. Fearing how the diminutive and peg-legged halfling might fare in a battle with a half-ogre, Corliss creeps back to the entrance (taking 10 on Stealth this time for a base 17) to see what's transpiring outside.

Male Half Orc Rogue (Thug) 6+5 | HP 20/70| AC 21/14/NA | F+5, R+9, W+2 | IP 1 | Perc +10 (+11 Freeport), Darkvision 60ft | Init +3 | Move: 30ft. | Status: Bleedin' 3, Rage 2/6 & -4 with Claw arm

@All: Remember while Invisible you get +20 bonus to Stealth checks (Moving) & +40 if remaining static.

Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

As he hears movement heading back toward where Dibbs' continues to create a ruckus, the thug scowls, pauses, then follows suit;

"Fir fecks sake. Why don't nuthin' every play out as Ol' Kauly plans it..."

Stealth (Moving 25ft - Invisible): 1d20 + 11 - 5 + 20 ⇒ (14) + 11 - 5 + 20 = 40

He closes the gap toward the hulking ogre-kin, sap readied...

Dibbets:
under the dock is a boathouse that forms the lower floor of the Depot of Death.

Corliss and Kaul:
Oy, you're in combat. No taking of the ten, Corliss. Corliss and Kaul emerge unaware of each other, but see the same scene. Dingus stands at one side of the dock and the ogrekin at the other. Dibbets is not seen, but you wonder what the big oaf is staring at in the water. Kaul quickly closes the distance to attack.

Are they reacting to the sounds coming from outside?

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Cap'n Outside:
Roger that - action holds, now surfacing 'just' out of reach of the half-ogre in the water

Jim:
Two move your direction. The smell of rot grows stronger.

Jim:
Feck. It's the walking dead. The Taldan retreats from the advancing pair, looking for a place that he can take one unawares.

Jim:
Jim slips back through the door and presses against the wall just beside the door frame prepared to spring as the dead men pass through.

Corliss will delay, either until the deaders near Jim come into his sight (I'm assuming he's currently unaware of them) or until after Kaul takes a swing at the ogrekin.

Male Halfling Oracle of Gozreh 6

Cap'n:
Dibbets keeps wading water, squinting and enquiring of the brute "Ye goan join me fer a paddle?"

Outside:
Dingus' taunting continues from water below the dock. The ogrekin scowls down at the floating halfling.

Dingus up.

Alright, holiday over. Moving along.

Outside:
Dingus sees the big boy in a compromised situation and tries the grease again. This time the big guy half spins and then falls backwards off the pier hitting the water with a loud splash. The half-ogre struggles in the water, apparently unable to swim.

Inside:
The two guards pause at the door just the other side from Jim. The shouting outside suddenly ends and they step through passing Jim and moving toward the outer door. Still dark 20% concealment miss chance on attacks

all but Dingus up.

[spoiler=Outside]

As the bigger 'un hits the water and starts splashing Kaul frowns;

"Was plannin' on knockin' 'im out cold... not drownin' the ugly bugger!"

The thug leans o'er shouting advice;

"Hur. Quit splashin' ye'll bring the sharkies or other biters around! Float big-un! Deep breath an' float!"

He mutters an aside to any of his other shipmates within earshot;

"5 Gold says he's eaten afore he sinks..."

The ogrekin does not seem to be in the necessary receptive state to hear Kaul's instructions and he bobs under once, erupting again momentarily as his deformed arm ineffectively beats the waters surface.

I got Corliss, Dibbets, and Kaul (Corliss and Kaul are invisible) still able to take an action this round if they like.

Inside (Corliss, Jim):
Standing unseen in the doorway, Corliss makes out two dark forms approaching and they obviously aren't Jim who is probably still invisible and behind them.

Jim may also act this round

"Two more incomin'," Corliss whispers, not exactly certain who's where any more. The Besmaran moves back outside where he might get a better look at the new arrivals.

With two of the three likely deaders out of the way, Jim makes his way back into the building towards the remaining false Guard.

As I recall, Storm-Eye's sword sheds a little light when charged up. He's not doing so yet, in any case.

Jim:
Jim slips back into the hall as the two undead guards move to the front door. He moves east into the dark passage and can just make out two doors to his left and right before the passage ends in a blank wall. The remaining undead guard stands in front of the southern door unaware of the invisible intruder.

Outside, the half-ogre sinks and lunges up again spluttering and coughing. A pair of hooded figures bearing the armband and club of the Watch step out of the dark doorway into the moonlight. Their attention turns to the only visible figure, the skinny sorcerer. One raises his club toward Dingus and in a thick gurgling voice demands, "Hey, what are you doing?"

Everyone up.

Dibbets casts a spell and tags the frenzied ogrekin just before he sinks the last time. Down below, Dibbets can see his eyes bulge in surprise and mouth gape open and closed as the big loaf finds himself alive and breathing while sinking to the base of the pylons in the dark water below.

The hooded figures exchange a glance and then move over to the edge of the pier to look down at the now still water.
