In hindsight fenrarem would rather have the fist or last shift, closer to dawn or dusk would be preferable.
Griswold Òrachbeithi
Village maker eh? Reminds me of a campaign I ran with reclusive lycanthrope druid that lived in an abandoned village called of the wolf.
Anyways if we get a good contingent of werebears it would help the legitimacy of the lycan nation/village/city-state. Since the werebears saved the gnomes 63 years ago and are considered good. Plus it could make for an interesting arc.
*wink wink*

@Griswold
Considering how much other lycans dislike or mistrust the werebears. Considering them traitors if I read things right. Your going to have to do a lot of diplomacy with the other lycans before they welcome you with hugs much less a group of werebears. After all what have the werebears done for the other lycans sense they gained their "good" status? Also if I am mistaken or missing something let me know, not to deep on Greyhawk lore.
@Fenrarem
The wording is a bit odd really for the arcane casters. Anyways I looked a little more into it now that I have a little time. Your right, druids being a divine spellcaster don't need to rest at all for their spells. Their restriction is a little different but still limited in the same way. They have to pick a certain time of day to meditate to gain their spells. If they miss it then they have to do so as soon as they can or wait until the next day. Preparation time remains the same for both types though, 1 hour. Don't play divine casters often and never played a druid, my bad. xP

This or at least this is how the DM sees it and sometimes, isn't that what really matters? :-)
Griswold Òrachbeithi
Bah traitors, most of you are tainted with your human blood. Humans are the ones that killed most of the werebears and other lycans. If it wasn't for the bears, there would be no gnomes in the region.
The gnomes remember and offer tribute to this day, that's why werebears don't raid anymore and are regarded as lawful good. Plus the archdruid watches over them. Also they're highly regarded in the rangers(see Griswold :))
Griswold Òrachbeithi
It's not so much to worry about the lycan, it's more about the humans. Lycans don't have a good reputation, werebears do at least. Also if you get the druids on your side, that could turn the tides for the lycans. Druids don't like to see the ecosystem unbalanced no?
Then again what lycan has done anything for anyother lycan? The bears have reached out to the world, they're trying. No other lycan has thus far, maybe it's an experiment destined to fail, Griswold would prefer if it didn't and will die trying to help his people and other lycans if needed, consequences be damned.

Assuming the real motivation of the PCs taking the journey is revealed to you, it would come as a surprise, the Bears were NOT invited to this particular party :-)
Griswold Òrachbeithi
Fair enough, I'm sure someone will spill the beans or something. Oh no, no party? Oh well, Pretty sure Griswold could live with that. Probably just wants a small hut somewhere, a garden and some wench he could call a wife.
Griswold Òrachbeithi
Just made some updates to my profile, a little extra description, fluff and added a motivation section.
Combat is looking well so far.
DM Lycan
Is everybody still alive?
Yep, sorry been busy getting a new game off of the ground this weekend. I will update either tonight or the latest, tomorrow night.
Fenrarem Sherendyl
not your fault, I was more concerned with the other three that go before the gnolls.

Weekends can tend to be a bit slow on PbP. :-)
DM Lycan
Ah yes, I C what you mean now!
I'll give another day or so and then bot them to move us along :-)
Rhun Jin Rong
Worked 7 days straight, busy, sorry.

Oi.
No worries, this is not a daily posting game. Post when you can :-)
In some instances of course I'll need to bot to move us along.
DM Lycan
We're just waiting on idgus and gerwyn.
I'll bot them if they do not update by tomorrow.
DM Lycan
I'm waiting on the DM's reply.
Ah, indeed he is!
Was setting up a massive Vampire PbP this weekend so I forgot about the question, I'll address that tonight.
Fury of the Tempest
Sorry for the delay, the workload at work has increased and I'm struggling to manage it all.
Through last weekend was a chillax weekend, on account of the Friday being my Birthday.
All this discussion about Werebears and how they weren't invited despite the fact they actually have a good reputation, especially with Gnomes is fascinating however, I never knew any of this, and it makes me excited to see how the RP might go!
Oh and I WOULD remake my character sheet right about now. But I'm afraid I hit a bit of a snag in that I don't have access to the 3rd Party Archetype I was using as GiTP is down. Unless anyone else has access of Lords of the Wild by DSP?
Fenrarem Sherendyl
Groot's Alias is officially up. Sorry I forgot you had asked me to make one and I wasn't entirely sure if the gnolls wouldnt think he was just a tree in the dark of the night and in their panic so I wasn't expecting them to attack him.

PM me your email address.
DM Lycan
I PMed you my email address on Wednesday, don't seem to have anything through.
Yeah, I'll send that to you in a few. Had a RL b!~**# issue last night to deal with, heavy workload today cause of a big client meeting in the afternoon and my table top D&D game tonight.
Fury of the Tempest
Okay. Very roughly made, and I'm probably missing little details such as traits (no idea why I have an extra +1 to attack with my moonsilver blades...), but the character sheet is updated.
Have to admit. +0 attack and -1 damage isn't exactly the stats you want to see on a melee fighter... sooner we get to level 2, the better. I really need that Blade Skill in order to pick up Focused Offence... being able to use my wisdom for attack and damage instead of strength will be such a jump.
DM Lycan
Updating now, missing one night usually sets back my posting a few days, especially when I have table top on a Friday and a holiday like Mother's Day is in the mix...
Fenrarem Sherendyl
For the upcoming round 2, you only list Vaki, Rhun and Tobar but your previous post has me going in the same block as them. My name being absent is just a typo or oversight right?

For some reason I thought your Round 1 action was your Round 2 action. I added you back to the Action list.
Griswold Òrachbeithi
Also Lycan, can I ask for a retcon?
I was looking over my class and realized I can't wear heavy armour, as my armoured kilt makes my scale mail considered heavy. You guys don't want Griswold to drop the kilt. Can I retcon my scale as chain shirt? I would just need to remove 1 point from my ac.
DM Lycan
Wait... was my bite round one or round two?
How far away are the other Gnolls anyway?
Round 1. Did I pull you off of the initiative? Sorry about that but the one you are fighting is down anyhow.
See the map linked at the top for positions of Gnolls.

Yes.

... So? It's not like the battle is over at all.
See the map linked at the top for positions of Gnolls.
... That doesn't answer my question. The map has absolutely no reference for distance. Are any of them within 30ft? How close is purple, compared to red? How far away is gold?
We need a grid system using the icons... not a map like this.

Not over but it's clear the group will prevail at this point.
Each icon is occupying a 5' space. Judge the distance to each figure by the size of the icons and you'll have the distance, thought I mentioned this but I guess I did not.
These are the maps I use, they are quick and easy, I run too many games to spend significant time learning new map tools. If this is a problem for you, I take no offense if you wish to withdraw from the game.
DM Lycan
You clearly have access to google docs through. so can't you just use a spreadsheet as a grid-system? Not exactly going to be hard to learn.
I can post an image to capture the feel of a scene better (quicker) OR I can use a spreadsheet for grids (slower). I prefer the pics as they give a better feel for the environment plus they are faster to do.
If I could get a grid to lay over a pic I would but I've not figured out how to do it and with limited time, it's not something I want to pursue further.

Map doesn't bother me. I understand where Lycan is coming from and am envious of his time management skills. Seriously how do you do it all?

Sometimes I get behind, like at the end of last week. Still trying to catch up!
