Natashenka was only able to let out a strangled squeak as the floor fell out beneath her and she tumbled gracelessly into.... someplace dark. "Hallo...?" she breathed to the other voice that sprung up in the dark. "I can... wait just a moment..." With a slight bit of fumbling and muttering, she was able to cast Light on her shield, giving her a chance to see properly. Talking to strange voices in the dark didn't exactly sound appealing, after all.
"'Tis a skulk, a creature that was born to hide and live underground. Perhaps our resident tree-dweller knows more... where did she go, anyways?" Wadsworth glances around as he detects magic while looting the skulk.
You light reveals a skinny, grey-skinned humanoid.
There are some cases in the vault smashed opens and looted, but most of the stuff is still ok. There are a few items on the dead skulk that probably belong here instead.
"Timothy, have you seen Miss Nat?" Wadsworth looks to Tim while putting things back on the shelves while looking for out-of-the-ordinary things. (Aside from the dead skulk, do ho ho.)
Puttin' whatever's still good back, then. What's left?
"Yes, of course. Do you have the stick your noble friend sent you?"Will use his CLW if desired. Ha, I thought it stabbed me twice. Whoops. Wasted my third CLW charge, then.
Another yelp emerged from Natashenka at the unexpected.... What was that?
Knowledge-Nature:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
"Uhm, sorry. Did you fall down here-- oh! Drat!" Natashenka scowled as the trap door clicked shut above her. "Well, there has to be another way out... Right? I mean, why build a trap room like this if there's not another way out?" Unless... No, hopefully things weren't THAT bad. Hopefully?
"I have not...we should retrace our steps. She couldn't have gotten far." Rhydderch will head out of the room the way we came looking for signs of Ms. Jakande. (Taking 10 on Perception)
Dawnbringer heads back out until the floor in the hall drops away and he lands hard next to a creature that looks very much like the one he just slew in the vault. Damage:2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6
From the top of the stairs comes the voice of the widow. Oh my, I almost forgot. Be careful, there is a trap to catch anyone who is walking out of the vault. There is a lever on the bookshelf to the right of the door inside the vault that disables it for when you come out again.
"Of course she tells us now... Thank you, madame!" Wadsworth states from the hall at the bottom of the stairs. "Say we needed to investigate said trap. How would one go about that?"
