ssssoooo tired some one give some time off...
Thoku grunts to his doom speaker to back down
"we have found the location of the relics but have your chief attack to night on the pathetic god lomeds church and we will put this city will be under foot with them in hand..."

Dragonofashandflame |

Daktani takes a look at the strength of the Bleeding Storm and turns his eyes to the ground as he bares his neck to Mighty Thoku. I will tell Skreed, Chief, myself. He will know nothing of your plan, Great One. I swear it. He slams his fist to his chest and withdraws, taking his henchmen with him. With the haste and craft of Verex, the Tribe of the Bleeding Storm return to Trunau and wait.
The Burning Angel has long been torn from the sky, and once more the GReat cavern is shrouded in darkness. Then, the air is filled with the boom of war drums. it has begun!

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

So I take it that it is now night?
"I may not know what you plan, but it sounds like there will be a big battle out there. If that's so, why are we in here when the fight will be out there? Are we going to open the gate from the inside and let the horde in?"

Thoku the Bloodied One |

"just follow, we are after a bigger prize than the subjugation of this soft city...choot let's move I want our goal in hand before the angel rises.."

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

Ozak shrugs. "Well, let's go then. Shame to miss the battle, but... maybe it won't be over yet when we are finished." Ozak smiles to himself.

Kern Dead-eye |

Kern watches the interactions of this new orc with the tribe's chieftan, trying to determine if Ozak means to usurp control from Thoku. He decides it doesn't really matter to him, as long as the tribe is strong.

Dragonofashandflame |

As the Bleeding Storm leave the Cleft, they hear a massive pounding at the front gates. Battering rams.
The thock of catapults follow, and flaming boulders soon scream through the air with human voices. They crash into buildings, shattering walls and setting thatched roofs alight with Sezelerian's holy flower!
The humans give call and the gates two the upper tiers slam shut.
The bleeding storm will need to cut their way up

Choot Othul |

Choot will take the form of a Human Cleric of Iomedae as the group moves forward, "Let guile lead us to our goal my Chieftan!"
I am hoping seeing the symbol and the robes I am wearing they will let the group in.

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

... trying to determine if Ozak means to usurp control from Thoku.
Hadn't occurred to me... Ozak is just the kind of guy who hates to miss a good fight.
The bleeding storm will need to cut their way up
Ozak unslings his axe and gets it ready. "Do we need to get through those gates? Or is there some secret way?"

Kern Dead-eye |

Kern readies his axe, and Grell begins growling angrily.

Thoku the Bloodied One |

well let's see if this works...
Thoku takes on the look of a sad pinky moves up and calls to the men at the gates
"please let us pass we must get so much ground blessed and consecrated for I fear there will be many pathe...brave souls lost this day and as you know a man must be blessed and laid to rest within a few days of being slain...less his holy spirit be tormented by the shackles of his lifeless body...I beseech you let us and pass and begin our work...for the love of all the life that will be taken in defense of this city..."

Ozak mutters under his breath, "Am I the only one who can't shapeshift around here?"

Kern Dead-eye |

Kern smiles at Ozak, then uses his Pack Focus ability to briefly grow a bull's horns, just to show off.

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

Ozak feels an itch, and sticks his finger up his nose, struggling to get at whatever is inside. He pulls out a lump of something, looks at it with vague curiosity, and flicks it aside.
"Why would I want to change my habits?"

Open the door! The human's weak voice grates on the ears of the orc-blooded, but soon, the locks of the door clang and the door opens. Inside, eight human guards stand in the torchlight, swords at the ready. The room reeks with the stench of human weakness. As the tribe enters, one of the guards points with his sword.

The guards descend on the tribe, fear burning into madness in their eyes. They swing with abandon at the orc-blooded. But, their blows are weak, puny things, and they find little purchase. All save one. Ozak, caught between three guards, feels the sharp cut of human steel. His blood flows freely from a giant wound on his chest. It shall form a mighty scar. Small comfort as his life hovers at Zagresh's cavern.
So, they won initiative and took a sizable chunk of Ozak's life. BUT, they're only humans. Have fun storming the castle!

Kern Dead-eye |

"Idiots! Can't you see your weakness in the face of our tribe!? Why did you not lay down your arms? You may have at least lived on as slaves!"
Kern roars to life as he sees Ozak take a deep wound. He steps around to flank one human (G1) with Grell, and the two tear into him.

Choot Othul |

Round 1
Choot sighs and enunciates a prayer with a quick apology to the Destroyer thereafter. Positive energy, enough to make the priest practically wretch, is transferred from his hand to the back of the newest member of the Tribe Ozak.
CLW 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Shakraal Bloodscreamer |

Can I 5' step to G3 (is there room?) and flank with Ozak?
Shakraal explodes with a deep bestial roar - her keloid skin pulses as it hardens. She breaks into action, her benighted gaze lowering upon the treachery of the human guardians. She hefts her steel talon high, and brings it down in a vicious arc...

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

Ouch! My first combat and I nearly get one-shotted! Thanks for the heal, Choot.
"Gorum's Rusty Codpiece! You'll pay for that!"
Ozak roars with rage as he feels the human's sword bite. He spins his axe in the air for a moment and swings viciously.
While technically my chances are better hitting the guard I am flanking with Shakraal (G3), that one isn't the one that stabbed me. So I am going after G2.
Orc Double Axe TWF (primary): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 141d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

If that takes G2 down then I will 5' step to square F6, but if G2 is still up that would put me in a flank so I will stay where I am - it's not a lot better but there are flanking opportunities for me as well.

She hefts her steel talon high, and brings it down in a vicious arc. Her warblade swings wide clattering against the flagstones of the tower at the guard's boot.
Hakak and his beast attack the humans. But, the confines are too restraining, and no blood is spilt!
Thoku snarls in rage, dropping is guise as a weak human priest, and shows his glorious true form to the tuskless warriors. The warriors cower in fear at his mighty thews and he launches himself into a savage attack. His claws and tusks cut air like soft skin, but he offers nothing to the Blood God save his rage.
Maggots and worms, and all manner of death-eaters slither from the cracks of the tower's flooring. They inch their way up Ozak's body and burrow deep into this many wounds. The warrior can feel them eating away at his ruined flesh, digging and writhing beneath his skin. Some of his wounds fill with the vermin, filling the gaps between his flesh. He feels ruined vigor and strength fill his bones. But, still, his mighty swing strikes only air!
Kern and Grell rip at the guards. They both flank one of the humans who stupidly placed himself between the mighty warriors. Quick as lightning, they strike. Their warblades and claws move with the might of the Thunderer himself! Blood rains down to the stones in offering to Great Rull, and the guard staggers beneath their fury!

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

Hey, GM Dragonofashandflame: Any chance you can put the link to the current map under your name (the same way we have our vital stats)? It would mean I don't have to scroll all the way to the top to click the map link when reading your posts.
Also I note their AC is better than 18. What kind of armor are they wearing?
Ozak eyes the guard in front of him carefully. "Pinkskin, I am going to wear your head as a hat."
Move action to study target (G2).
He then swings the axe in a wide arc.
"YAAAAAHHHHHRRRR!!!"
Standard action to attack two-handed with +1 studied target

I certainly hope so! If they have more than 35 HP each we could be in deep trouble. I am hopping this takes his head clean off... though I will definitely chop it off later if not. I am starting to think of ways I can use the head later. :)

I think Fleshripper is allowed to make an acrobatics check to try and not get hit. Avoiding melee attacks is something an animal ought to understand.

The guard gasps and clutches at his spreading guts as he collapses to the ground, screaming in pain.
As the wyrd-caster's foe falls in a pile of his own offal, Hakak, Fleshripper, and Choot descend on their own prey. The shaman fails to offer blood to the Doom of All Things, but the earth-speaker and his beast. The earth-caller brings his warfang down in a mighty arc, cleaving a great chunk of flesh from the human, but still the guard stands. This one is strong. His whelps would make fine warriors.
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15 miss
On the other side of the battle, Ozak fells his prey with a single cut of his mighty axe. His steely fang parts through metal and flesh as though air. Twin haves fall to the ground amidst a fountain of blood. The Badaxe stands, triumphant, bathed in the sacred color of the Chiefs in Fire and Blood.
Kern and his beast work together and cut at their foe from both sides. Fang, claw, and wartooth slice into the metalskin of the human. The creature's strength and power rain upon the stones in offering to the Blood God and the Thunderer, even as Zagresh claim its soul for his horde.
Dread Thoku's claws nearly hamstring his own foe. The man offers a great scream of pain, glorious warsong, to the Thunderer. He stains the stones with his weakness, and the scent of his water fills the guardroom.

The guards close ranks, wisely fearing the tribe's ability to move. They strike out at the great chief of the Tribe of the Bleeding Storm. But, only one blade cuts Mighty Thoku's sacred flesh, and offer his blood to Nulgreth!

Ozak "Badaxe" Daggertooth |

"HA HA HA HA HAH!" Ozak laughs maniacally. "Come and take the blessing of Our Lord in Iron!"
Ozak dodges past Choot to the southeast.

Kern Dead-eye |

Kern steps to the side and snarls "Grell, flank." then waits for the cat to position herself.
Grell moves around Kern and the human he is threatening, using every bit of her grace to avoid being attacked.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
