Link (Ex): A druid can handle their animal companion as a free action even if they don’t have ranks in handle animal. Druids have a +4 bonus to handle animal and wild empathy checks made with the animal companion.
Share Spells (Ex): The druid may cast spells that have a target of “you” on the animal companion, even if the spells normally don’t affect animals. The spells must come from a class that allow animal companions. This ability doesn’t let animals share spell-like abilities.
Backstory:
Many half-orcs come from the strength of orcs to take what they want. The power of their lust cannot be denied, but Hakak’s mother chose her mate.
When her weak father sold her to another weak man, she slew him and fled into the Hold. There she dared orcs to master her, but none did. She laid with those she chose
and no others, proving herself the equal of any warrior. She lived long and well, bearing Hakak and five other children and teaching them the ways of might.
Hakak did not listen. He heard the ways of his father, who listened to the wind and fire. Through Mother beat him often, Hakak did not learn. But even Mother could not stand against the giants when they came. They slew all the orcs of the village, all of Hakak’s brothers and sisters, and Father. Mother flew into her blood rage and tore the life from four before they split open her skull.
Hakak alone survived. His Mother’s words did not live in him so he fled and hid. There an orc wise of might found him and took him as his own. Hakak’s new teacher did not tolerate the weakness inside him, but instead taught Hakak how to be mightier even than an orc or Mother. He taught through pain, so Hakak would not forget, and Hakak did not forget. He grew strong and hard, proving himself finally his Mother’s son. He learned the ways of the Great Ones, showing it by taking one of their young as his own and raising it from an egg.
When Fleshripper grew, Hakak’s master turned from him. The time had come for him to make his own way, or he would only become weak again. The Master beat Hakak near to death to prove Hakak had not exceeded him, and then cast the half-orc from his sight.
Now Hakak walks Belkzen, seeking a place for himself and Fleshripper and to honor the memory of his Mother through his strength. Most of all, he wishes to slay many giants in her name.
