Kern gets larger, his axe becoming menacingly huge. He fleetingly wishes he knew the same spell so that he could enlarge Grell as well.

The Bleeding Storm girds themselves for battle, with all the craft and guile of Verex, the Rat God. Skreed Horde-Forger has proven himself a poor chieftain. He has been made weak and soft by his victory over the pathetic pinkskins. He judges his conquest of their village as strength! What strength is there in destroying a human village? They are humans, soft and weak, fit only as slaves and meat. He did not strike at Thoku’s challenge, nor bare his tusks to show his might! No, he cowered and made peace! Peace! This is not Flood Truce! This is war! There is no peace in battle! A challenger must be crushed, his neck bared in submission, or opened as offering to the Blood God! Skreed Horde-Forger has done neither of these, and his dominance must be challenged!

"Zagresh beseech me, protect me from the weak!" The Shaman of the the Destroyer intones dark words, his voice echoing as though from the depths of the darkest cavern. His is the voice of the maggot as it devours a rotting corpse; it booms with the thunder of a collapsing city; it echoes with the finality of a great tree moldering in a fen. A spectral dire bear roars as it charges from the crack of Uskoth’s Tomb. It charges towards doom-speaker, its rotting flesh scarred and torn by the wounds of countless battles. The bear upon its hind legs, its maw opening impossibly wide as it devours Choot in a single lunge, only to stand precisely where shaman once stood, with the slave of Zagresh floating, unharmed, in its belly.

The wyrd-caster draws air into her lungs, and speaks with Sezelrian’s voice from behind her dreadkmasque. The Fire God’s smoke billows from her lips and falls upon the ground like a great fog. Sparks flicker in the cryptic mist. The smoke trails towards Ozak and Kringsdaughter, winding up their legs as though it were a thing alive! The sparks flare to life, burning the Fire God’s marks upon their flesh! Kringsdaughter and the Daggertooth grow and swell together, their flesh empowered by Sezelrian’s smoke!

Hakak Earth-Speaker, lays his hand on the back of his great chief, mightiest of the Bleeding Storm. "Mother smiles upon you and giants unman themselves in fear," Great Thoku’s body swells and grows with power and strength; his mighty thews thicken into the trunks of trees and he towers above the assembled horde as a mighty giant! Then, the forest-voice turns to his fell beast and curses and hits the creature with the shaft of his mighty grain-hewer. The spineback snarls and bears its teeth, snapping its master, but catching only air. The wood of the scythe splinters and cracks, and woodchips fly through air, driving themselves deep into the lizard’s hide. The beast roars in pain, its scales are so obscured by the wooden shards! Rull-touched turns to himself and kicks at his calves, driving the weakness from his limbs with each thunderous blow! His legs grown thick and strong with speed!

Then, dread Thoku roars as old forgotten orc symbols appear glowing red over his blood-covered body. "This is who you follow! An orc who wets himself and turns his back once challenged! I will break him and his champions, and then you will follow the Bleeding Storm. For a great horde can only break this world with me as its chief..." Thoku grows to match the size of the giants around the small chief. Then, he places his now massive paw on Kern’s back. His claws bite deep into his warrior’s back, parting through metal and flesh as though water! Blood from his sacred flesh runs down the mighty thews of his arm and merges with the rent flesh of his proud hunter. The warrior’s body hunches and seethes with strength and then, he too, grows to stand tall and bloodied beside his mighty chief! The Bloodied One, Chief of the Bleeding Storm, steps forward, his voice cracking over the field like the thunder of an never ending storm [b]"Face us now and fall, your blood staining these rocks! For you have turned your back to a challenge! Now face my anger! "

Kern, mighty hunter of the Bleeding Storm, places a massive bloodied hand upon his beast’s fierce maw. He strokes Grells’ head, tracing bleeding runes upon her fur and sprinkling dust across each mark. Her fur strands straight and tall on her back, and her hackles rise. Her fangs grow longer and drip spittle that burns the earth beneath her claws. Then, he hefts his mighty axe and nods, ready to defend his chief and claim the horde for him.

Shakraal Kringsdaughter: 16
Kern Dead-Eye: 16

Thoku Blood Drinker: 12

The warrior and the puny weakling laugh at the display of Sezelrian's strength! KILL THEM! the weakling roars! THE HORDE-FORGER SHALL FEAST ON THEIR MANHOOD THIS NIGHT! THE HORDE SHALL HAVE THEIR FLESH! The warrior gestures and two massive ogres shove their way through the crowds and roar a challenge. They heft the trunks of mighty trees in their hands!

Round One Hakak up!
I deleted the die rolls on initiative because EVERY time i hit preview they kept changing... grrrrrrrrr so. This was the initiative order i had when i hit "submit"

Magic Effects on you guys:

Kern: Enlarge Person [+2 str, -2 Dex, -2 AC (net)]
Grell: Bristle, Acid Maw[-1 NatAC for +1 to damage, +1d4 acid damage]

most of these last for 1 minute per level. That's 3 minutes. So, 30 total rounds of buffs. Barkskin lasts for 10 minutes for each level. So 300 rounds. Longstrider is 1 hour per level... so 3 hours and a lot more rounds

Hakak angrily punched Fleshripper in the mouth and send the spineback off. He followed.

Magic Fang, which I forgot to give earlier. Fleshripper closes with the more southerly ogre, which will take him a double move. Hakak goes 40 feet in the same direction.

Hakak slams his fist into his beast's snout. The spineback snarls and sinks it's fangs deep into its master's hand. Blood runs freely from the wounds and they grow in length and size, becoming mighty tusks and hanging nearly to the ground! They run through the earth-spwaker's hand and the lizard snaps it off, chomping it down and becoming stronger still. Rull-hearer slams the stump of his arm into the lizard's head again and gestures at the ogre. Fleshripper turns to the hints with a snarl and runs off, his master not far behind.

"FLANK" Big-Kern roars, and he and Grell move quickly to flank one of the giants (whew! Barely enough movement for this! Unfortunately Escape Route isn't helpful here, since Kern isn't close enough to help Grell out.)
Acrobatics Grell to avoid AOO: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Then Big-Kern and Grell both attack the giant.
We'll assume that Kern got there after Grell, so he gets the benefit of the flanking.

Grell bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
damage: 1d6 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 = 8 plus acid: 1d4 ⇒ 4 If it hits, the giant will take an additional acid: 1d4 ⇒ 4 damage during its turn.

Kern axe, flank, outflank: 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 4 = 18

Like twin mountains, the ogres tower over the rest of the Twisted Nail. Even Hakak and the warbeasts Fleshripper and Grell are dwarfed beneath the drooling behemoths! They roar and lift their mighty tree trunks in primal challenge! These brutes would make excellent war beasts for the Bleeding Storm, once they are properly broken and trained! Skreed Horde-Forger has some wisdom following Lanistra’s teachings.

FLANK! Kern One-Eye shouts over the field, gesturing towards one of the ogres with his massive axe. Grell roars and charges the brute, smoke-bound fangs and fur bared, acid burning on the ground in her wake! She claws at the stones of the village, sending up dust and stone splinters as she skids behind the ogre. The brute swings its tree trunk at Kern as he rushes after his beast to flank the ogre. But, One-Eye deftly dodges the blow and swings his warfang as one with his beast. Grell’s smoke-filled fangs clash emptily on the air, but her master’s steel cuts deep into the brute’s hide bathing his beast in its liquid power, a fit offering to Nulgreth! The brute howls in agony and clutches at his wound.

Shakraal Kringsdaughter holds Uskroth’s warhammer aloft in the power of her mighty thews. The Varg-Steel grows in her hands to a huge size fit for the Hero-Chief himself! The Bloodsreamer cries a great ululation and charges the ogre, true to the blood that spawned her! She swings her warsteel in a powerful over-handed arc, bringing the hammer down upon the ogre Hakak and Fleshripper harried. The ogre steps aside at the last possible moment, some dim awareness in its mind alerting it to danger, and the earthbreaker shatters only the stones at the beast’s bare feet.

Ogre attacks:

Attack on Hakak: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (1, 1) + 7 = 9
Attack on Kern: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (5, 7) + 7 = 19

Shakraal's foe steps forward and snarls in fury as Hakak and Fleshripper block his path. With a casual shrug, the giant swings his tree trunk down towards the pair, clipping the Earth-Speaker in the arm!

Kern's foe roars with fury and swings his own tree trunk. But, One-Eye's steelskin blocks the blow!
Bottom of Round 1, Thoku, Choot, and Ozak are left

Cast Murderous Command on one of the Ogres, the one taht is the least wounded - Will save DC 13 or the target gains a mental urge to kill its nearest ally, which it obeys to the best of its ability. The target attacks its nearest ally on its next turn with a melee weapon or natural weapon. If necessary, it moves to or charges to the nearest ally in order to make this attack. If it is unable to reach its closest ally on its next turn, the target uses its turn to get as close as possible to the ally.

I was waiting so see where Thoku would move to, but he didn't move his icon. So I moved Thoku forward 5 feet.

Ozak holds out his axe before him. With an intense glare, he begins to spin the axe. First above his head, then to one side, then the other. Under one arm, then under the other, and around his back, the axe spins faster and faster. Finally, he pulls the axe from over his right shoulder and locks in front of him holding it out with both hands, his muscles rigid and quivering.

"RRRAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" he shouts as he steps forwards.

Full-Round Action for Dazzling Display, then 5' step northeast.

dazzling display: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
Meh... not great, but that might still stick. DC is 10 + HD + WIS modifier - I'm guessing their WIS is not great. Also, against medium sized guys this is at +4, so 21 versus the guys in the audience within 30 feet (in case they want to make trouble).

If it sticks on the ogres, then they also save at -2 versus Choot's spell. I think this resolves before Choot's casting.

I now threaten both ogres. If one moves more than 5' I will take an AoO:

Attack of Opportunity:

Double Axe, two handed: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 241d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

That's weird, I thought I moved him. Thanks Ozak!

Thoku roars "Coward to fearful of my tribe that you wet your self standing behind your tribes men!" The mighty chief of the Bleeding Storm steps forward, carried by the smoke-filled thews! He roars again, power and strength carrying his Rull-song across the crowd. The Bloodied One lashes out at his prey, fang and claw ripping and tearing at the thick hide of the brute. The gift of the Blood God fuels his strikes, but the beast's skin is too thick for his blood red claws! Undaunted, Dread Thoku drops to all fours, like a might beast of war and crushes his jaws about the ogre's leg. He clenches and feels his tusks snap bone and rend flesh, his tongue tastes the sweet blood of his prey! He pulls with one mighty heave of his great neck and sends the giant falling to the stones!

"RRRAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" The Daggertooth roars, sending his own Rull-Song to please the Thunderer! He holds out his axe before him. He roars once again, his voice near a match for the Rull-song of his chief!

The ogres whimper and cow their heads and the warriors ringing the battle take a small step back. The sweet scent of fear fills the air, proving the Badaxe's power and strength!

Saves:

DC 13 Will Save: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 3 - 2 = 7 and... he's mind whammied!

"Zagresh, these fool Ogres do not see the True Chief before them, show them the darkness!" The slave of Dread Zagresh intones fell words to the Destroyer. As he speaks, maggots drip from his lips and slither across the flagstones of the courtyard. They crawl with unnatural quickness towards the healthy ogre quivering at Ozak's display of strength. Its eyes widen in horror as the maggots squirm their way up its body and wriggle into its ears. Its eyes fill with maddened fury and it turns to the prone ogre, leaking its lifesblood on stones! ZAGRESH!!!!!! The ogre bellows in primal rage, lifting its tree trunk into the air and shaking its fists. For now, the ogre is clearly a slave of the Destroyer's will.

Sadly, my demoralize will have worn off by then. Want me to do it again? Fear effects stack, so if he is already shaken then he is frightened for 1 round even if he fails the save.

Shakraal screams again in frustration - her very flesh pulsing and her keloid tattoos pulsating. She swiftly brings the hammer back to lift the ogre's face off...but again her aim is not true.

The giant warwitch screams, her fury fueling the power of her mighty thews! She swings her earthbreaker, but the ogre's cowering makes him step aside and the hammer shatters only stone!

With grim power determination, Kern steps forward. He hefts his huge axe and brings it crashing down on his prone foe. His warsteel cuts deep into the ogre's leg, blood sprays out into the air, bathing One-Eye in his liquid power. Then, Grell, the hunter's fell beast and companion, pounces on the giant's chest. Her claws rip and tear his innards, spraying flesh and guts over the courtyard. The ogre howls in agony, but his screams are cut short beneath her fangs! Her jaws crush his throat, ripping out his jugular and he chokes on his own blood!

As one, Hakak Earth-Speaker and his slave Fleshripper descend on the remaining ogre. The Tree-Talker cuts his flesh-hewer the ogre's legs, bringing the brute to his knees. Then, Fleshripper swoops in and digs his maw into the ogre's side, feasting on its organs.

The ogre rises, and roars, his tree trunk waving high in the air. The words of the Destroyer whisper madness and bloodlust in his ear. He sees his war-brother fall beneath Kern's warsteel and his beast's fangs and claws. With agonized fury he turns about, searching for a fitting sacrifice to Dread Zagresh! Finally, he finds his prey!

Ogre Murderizing an Orc:

Club attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (7, 6) + 7 = 20

The ogre's club comes slamming down, crushing the orc in a puddle of blood and ruined flesh! The ogre shakes his head and lifts its club. Brain and blood coats the wood. It shrugs and sticks out its tongue, catching globs of gore as they drip from the club.

Redshirt watching. sorry wasn't clear. Ok, ya. thanks for the reminder about the buffs. I'll put that in the bottom post after I resolve thoku, Choot, and Ozak. i'll wait on Choot because Ozak offered a display, but didn't get a reply.

Ozak sees one ogre go down. He doesn't want to miss out again on taking out a large opponent.

"Pick on someone your own size! Hah!" he shouts at the remaining ogre.

He steps forward and his axe becomes a blur, striking at the ogre right and left. He then lunges forward, going for the ogre's throat with his tusks.

5' step east and then full attack.

Hunter and Gorthek: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Mighty Thoku brushes aside Kern's warbeast and thrusts his claws into the chest of the dead ogre. The beast snarls at the Bloodied One, but backs away all the same, recognizing the strength and power in the Chief of the Bleeding Storm. The Blood God's avatar claws and tears at ruined flesh and then with a mighty surge of strength, rips out the still-beating heart from the corpse. Thoku holds the heart aloft, blood running down the mighty thews of his arms. One foot propped on the chest of the fallen ogre he bellows a great Rull-song of triumph and power to Nulgreth. He devours the heart greedily, blood spurts between his mighty fangs and dribbles down his chin and chest in great rivulets. Then, he runs his claws down his chest, marring his sacred flesh with his own strength and coating his claws in blood. The rents on his flesh heal instantly as he runs the same bloodied claws down Kern's face, coating the hunter in soul-charged blood! Kern feels the blood burn inside him and his body swells and grows with power!

Per Thoku: Kern you can chose to have claws, a bite attack, extra +2 natural armor, or a +8 race bonus to intimidate. Last for 1 min.

Ozak, fell stalker and Daggertooth, seizes the moment attacks the remaining ogre. His power is strong and fierce, his warclaw a whirwind of steel and strength. "Pick on someone your own size! Hah!" He shouts, challenging the ogre's strength and manhood! The ogre turns, no longer possessed by the words of Zagresh as the Destroyer's sacred worms drip from his holes they bored through his skull and ears. The beast roars his own challenge, facing mighty Ozak like a true warrior! The Badaxe feints low, and the ogre steps aside, straight into the reversed upswing of the other half of Ozak's warsteel! The warrior hooks the blade in the brute's ribcage and pulls him forward, clamping his jaws around the ogre's shoulder. Ogre hide is no match for orc tusks and the Daggertooth, true to his name, tastes the ogre's power on his tongue! Blood sprays from the wound, as flesh fills his mouth! The ogre backs away howling in pain and tearing himself free of Ozak's axe, a large chunk of muscle missing from his shoulder!

Wise Choot, dead-speaker and shaman of the tribe, looks out beyond the horde of watchers at the behemoth which is biding it's time to wade into the fray. Zagresh, no matter the size of the mortal, when all is gone dust is still dust. Show this creature it's fate!!!" His words ring fell and clear over the horde.

Save Vs Fear:

DC 13 Will Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Ya, that should have been a failure, and, in fact, it totally IS a failure, except that it has more than 6HD... so it's immune to the spell. Something I didn't quite catch while you were talking about its

The spectral dire bear surrounding the slave of Zagresh stands on its hind legs and roars! The dread might of death and the fate of all things is a terrible thing to behold. The horde of onlookers all shake in their boots, quailing in impotent terror at this most awesome and terrible truth! The stench of urine fills the air as several warriors loose their water upon the stones in their fright! They are all slaves of the Destroyer's will! They know that one day they, too, shall be bound as part of Zagresh's great hoard and food for his eternal hunger! Even the giant whimpers and steps back, ready to run in terror. But, the frail, shriveled orc beside him grabs his great tusk and pulls his head down to the ground. The great beast lurches, clearly strong enough to break free of its master's grasp and shatter him in two. Instead, it runs its face into the dust and then licks the weakling's hand! The weakling looks over to Choot and snarls in fury. KILL THEM!! SKREED HORDE-FORGER DEMANDS THEIR MANHOOD!

The warrior standing beside the beast snarls in rage. He slams an armored fist against his metal-clad chest. He rips out the clay filling a halfling's skull and guzzles the contents greedily. His body swells with strength and power! At the same time, the wolf howls in agony as its skin splits down the middle and a large gorthek bursts from its ruined flesh! Its skin glistens like hammered iron, it's cruel mask weeps blood that drives it to madness!
and say hello to new challengers!
FOR THE HORDE!!!!!!! The hunter and gorthek bellow in rage but stay behind the wall of orcs, for the moment...
