How scandalous!
So, in the end, Sidoze is really attached to the idea of having his character be the "leader." We already knew that. And we already know that Juno isn't out to be the leader, but she is out for power. She's not willing to be bossed around, either.
I think the subject should be dropped, and should have been dropped a long time ago.

Sidoze |

Hey everyone feel like I should explain something really quick so we dont have any more hurt feelings or whatever, If sidoze seems like he is ordering you guys about im sorry I didnt mean to just how the words flowed at the time. But im not going to try and fix my words every-time i type, anyways wanted to get that out of the way now.

Andrezi Zeldana |

No problems at all.
Andrezi is only being hesitant because I've set him up to be a killer, but a killer that needs to see a reason to make the kill, not just for kicks.
So now I'm waiting for the others to chime in before lodging a poisoned dagger into someones neck.

"Savvy" Juno |

I certainly don't mind being bossed around a bit, but Juno can be rather bossy as well if she feels she's in charge of a situation. Just prepare yourselves for that :P.
I've just assumed that we're just a bunch of power hungry misfits who are destined to figure out how to get along with each other sooner or later, so why fret?
I'm having a blast so far -- let's teach these punks why they shouldn't mess with the Night Ravens.

Talomyr |

Apparently even the GM rolls poorly for Andrezi :(.
GM GK, you included his +2 for favored terrain right (should be a total of +8 to init.)
Also, I know you said you do not have access to a mapping program, but would you like me to put together some sort of encounter map. I use maptools in the game I run, but have used a simple spreadsheet program for maps before too.
Let me know if you would like me to put one up and I will.

GM Gangsta Kingpin |

Yeah, I just rolled crappy for Andrezi. All of you have good init., though, so even at +8, you won't always lead the pack.
I'd love to use the spreadsheet. Much simpler, but I've not been able to teach myself to use it in games.

GM Gangsta Kingpin |

I use it in games I play in, but not so far as GM. My other game hit 6th level, and I need to learn how to use it. This game, with mostly streets and rooms, can really use it. Guess it's time to learn!

"Quill" |

I just wanted to state that, FOR NOW, Quill does not openly declare herself a cleric. Those watching her closely can make spellcraft checks when she casts a spell openly. But she prefers to keep the source of her magic obscure. She wants to come off as more of a bard or inquisitor. She is a church of one and is not looking to convert anyone or proselytize about the benefits of crime.
Now that we are underway, I will incorporate this into her background and get that posted on her profile. I just don't want people to assume she is the party cleric. She has some magic tricks and likes to keep it at that. Her religion is more of a personal pact that she does not like to talk about.
As she works more closely with the Night Ravens, there will likely come a time that she is more open about this matter.

Sidoze |

I would assume no one really knows anything about anyone besides Sidoze showing an interest in poisons, Grigori is strong tough looking guy, Juno is an attractive woman, Quill likes disguises and apparently has some knack at magic, and Andrezi likes knives
:)

GM Gangsta Kingpin |

ARRGH! you would think that with all the millions of people who've used google docs, there'd be a square map template I could just copy and use. I don't seem to be getting it.

"Savvy" Juno |

Specifically, I want to exchange Mage Armor for something that fits Juno's character a bit better. I know several other people have gone with Vanish, and I think it works a lot better flavor-wise for our characters. I was thinking that, for Juno's character, either Vanish or Disguise Self would have been a much better choice. Or even Expeditious Retreat.
Basically, I'm hoping to get something a bit more permanent utility than Mage Armor. Especially because Juno isn't a very combat-oriented character, I think it would fit better. Anyway, let me know how you feel about this sort of retconning ;) and which change you'd prefer, if any. Thanks!

GM Gangsta Kingpin |

Juno:
I think I'd go with Vanish, myself. You rarely need more than a few rounds of invisibility, anyway, and if you do, you can still cast invis, once you have the levels.
Also, I think Improved Initiative gives you +4, not +3, and a rapier does 1d6 damage. Not that you'll use it much, but you gotta admit it looks cool!

Sidoze |

Yeah I dont like spoilering everything either just ran into a few gms that want me to do that and blah blah so i just stuck to what I knew and went ahead if you want (i assume) Ill leave off the spoilers unless I say Sidoze will keep this to himself

Grigori Hammerhands |

Sorry I never got to posting GM really I am my computers are still suffering problems and school is the best and nearly only oppertunity I have access to a computer. Hopefully this will be fixed but if not I'll do my best to stay updated on the games and getting Grigori's things in. If you feel you need to drop me to move along the story though, I completely understand although obviously I would really rather not leave this game. thanks.

GM Gangsta Kingpin |

I put brief descriptions of your characters in the Campaign Info section. If you want to revise them, write it here, and I'll post it there. Just keep them fairly short.
It will eventually have a format similar to my goblins PbP, though I never gave them the option to write their own descriptions. They'd just lie...

Andrezi Zeldana |

Still here. Was just waiting on my turn, which I will take when I am not posting from my phone.

GM Gangsta Kingpin |

I'm glad you've all stuck around. Lots of PbPs here seem to lose steam and die quickly. I don't want to do that to players. As long as people post pretty regularly during the week, we can move along okay.
Things will get interesting soon enough. You've got that big job planned, and if you pull it off, you'll be doing well. It's not all thugs and zombies, but you need some xp, right? As a player, leveling up is more fun to me than treasure, though I like that, too. ;)
Thanks, Andrezi. I still think in 3.5 terms sometimes, or get rusty on the rules, and PF has changed a lot of things in subtle ways. One nice thing about PbP is that we can get the rules down and correct mistakes fairly simply. The more you play, the easier it gets.
If anyone has a problem or a question, feel free to bring it up. I'm pretty good with rules, but I don't have a photographic memory. Playing through 2e and 3.x, 4e, and PF makes my head a bit jumbled at times!

"Savvy" Juno |

Yeah, hopefully this heist goes off well, then we'll be set for a while to go off on some other projects ;)
I've been posting slower lately, but my classes picked up again and I've got to settle into a groove before I'll be as active. I'm enjoying things very much, though, and I'm excited to keep playing.

GM Gangsta Kingpin |

You haven't encountered much, but you've all played very well. As with my other campaign, the early levels go by fast. The story and characters get more interesting when they're a little more powerful. You'll be 4th level characters when you go to see Quai. You haven't gotten much treasure, but you could be in for a nice haul, if you handle it right...
Level up. d6=4. d8=5, d10=6 hp before adjustments for con, favored class, etc.

Let's review what the feat does.
Your rogue and arcane training complement one another.
Prerequisites: 3 ranks in Spellcraft and Stealth, rogue
level 1st, arcane spellcaster level 1st
Benefit: Choose one arcane spellcasting class. Your caster
level for that class increases by one for each level in the
rogue class you possess, up to a maximum of 3 higher than
your actual spellcaster level. In addition, when you become
able to cast 3rd-level spells with an arcane spellcasting
class, your sneak attack damage increases by +1d6.
Special: If you have fewer than 3 rogue levels when you
take this feat, and later take additional rogue levels, your
caster level continues to increase. This increased caster
level only benefits the power of the spells you cast: for all
other purposes, such as qualifying for feats, your caster
level is still equal to your actual spellcaster level. This feat
has no effect on which spells you know or how many you
can cast per day.
