Looks like a powerful storm went through that area several days ago and put 10k+ people out of power. According to a google search and article dated June 21st.

Ah, I was still recovering from PaizoCon. ;)

Okay, back from Star Wars and had a blast! I highly recommend this to anyone that's a fan. Of course, I don't think they're hitting that many North American sites...
Now, for the game, it looks like a pesky wolf has dared to attack Erian! I'm not sure where we are at in the initiative order, but once I get that lined up I should be good to go.

Any feed back appreciated. (^_^)
Cheers!
Anything outside of a Pathfinder product is off-limits unless you get specific permission from me first. That means, races, classes, feats, traits, gear, etc. All sources used to build your character must be listed, preferably with page numbers, at the bottom of your character profile.

Glad to hear you had fun. Any pictures?

Everything else is Paizo though. (^_^)

Ahh! Missed that bit. When I have time I'll run through and add all that. =)
Still happily swinging my feet and sittin' on th' side line.
Much cheers!

With your height, you should weigh 117 lb. Replace Water Adaptation with something else.
Calistrian Prostitute gives a +1 to Diplomacy (gather information function) and Sense Motive.Meteor Hammer is in Adventurer's Armory: Exotic Two-Handed Melee, 10 gp, 1d10(Medium), 19-20/x2, 10 lb., Bludgeoning. Do you have the Pathfinder Companion: Adventurer's Armory?

Sunny / Elanesadriel |

*nods* Okay, will make those changes when I get time here later in the day.
I have the 'Pathfinder companion' "Legacy of Fire" which is where I'm drawing the Meteor Hammer from and the 'Pathfinder Chronicles' "Campaign Setting" which is where the leaf armor and armored skirt are coming from.
Hope that helps. :)
Cheers!

Doing very well, Black Fang. Might I suggest some things to make combat easier? Perhaps listing the initiative order so we know who needs to go next. That would be handy. Also, is it possible to put a grid on the battlemap? I think those two things would be extremely helpful.
I'll be doing initiative by groups from now on, so the first person in the party to roll for initiative once called for sets when the party goes.
Regarding the grid, I'm working on that. Somehow, I didn't think about that until I was in the process of putting the map together for the encounter.

Heh, that's just sad on the player's part--if you don't like a game, speak up and help fix it!
For this game, I'll note that PbP is a balancing act of RP and combat. Too much combat (which I'd classify as being as much as you'd expect in a tabletop game) can bog the whole thing down since each combat can take days to complete. So, that leaves a larger balance of time for RP. For the RP, though, you've got to use a careful hand in letting things run their course versus moving the game forward. I think you did well with that thus far.
In my PbP games, I usually set a post rate requirement--something like 1 post per every 24 hours, or per 8 hours during combat. Failure to post in that time frame results in the GM rolling/NPCing the character to keep things flowing. This is a fairly accepted practice in PbP and I think you handled it fairly well for our first combat. Simply roll all the dice in an OOC section and folks can see things are going appropriately.
Summarize each round and give an init count so everyone can readily see where they are in the combat cycle.
For summaries, use a standard, consistent format. I favor all the IC stuff first, then a second section for OOC. All speech in bold and thoughts in italic. That's just an example, but having everyone doing the same thing often helps avoid confusion.
Much of this is already happening, so probably just reinforcing what you already know...

Tanner Nielsen |

Tanner, what program are you using for that map?
Just the best darn program in the whole world for making maps! It's called 'MapTool'. It can be found here RPTools.net. Look under 'Downloads.' It has a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of the program it is fairly easy to produce very detailed and rich maps. Plus, the program and support software are all free downloads. Here are some examples from games I have run.

If you're looking for mapping support, you should also check out RPGMapShare, Creative Gremlins, and The Mad Mapper. All of these have nice textures, icons, tiles, etc. for use in mapping.

I was killing some time with Photoshop earlier and decided to make an alternate version of Oleg's Trading Post if it had to be enlarged for bigger groups. Alternate Oleg's. For future use if anyone in here decides to run a Kingmaker game.

erian_7 |

Well, the true test of a map is how much play it sees...I've spent hours on a map that the players blew through in 30 minutes!
I'm a Photoshop mapper as well, focused right now on Legacy of Fire. You can see my work on the Refuge of Nethys and the Monastery (which actual involved some terrain building) over in the LoF forum.
That map of Oleg's is very nice. I'll have to pass it along to my friend that's running Kingmaker.

I may be wrong, but I believe that one used Google Sketch-Up.

Black Fang |

Okay folks, so Oleg is telling you it's at least two weeks before the bandits show up again. What're y'all going to do in that time?
You could explore some hexes.
You could wander aimlessly.
You could sit at Oleg's and wait for the XP to come to you. ;)
You could gather intel from the locals.
There are other options I'm certain you have already thought of.

erian_7 |

Erian is always up for exploration (which for him will involve a detailed survey of each area for his maps) and in the process gathering intel. So, I'd say yes to 2 of the 4! We've got a few other leads with the wyrm, boar, and kobolds, and the latter might lead to a bit of intel itself (assuming we can keep the party from killing kobolds randomly...). So, perhaps we find out from Oleg where the kobolds are in general and map our way there?

No, I just want to diplomacize/intimadicize/slayicize his kobolds.
