Felicia LaFou |

same here, wonderful break, mild computer issue, back to things and looking forward to catching up and getting rolling.

Stella Lucem Caelum |

I will be leaving on a trip that lasts the next 5 days. While, I may have time to post I can not make that promise. So I post this here in forewarning if I can not.

Felicia LaFou |

since putting so much thought into Felicia's background, I'm thinking that, once life settles after school, I would like to make a homebrew that takes place on her world... This requires more thought!

Kleora |

Kinda curious what happens with Felicia's collar now that I tinkered with it. Guess we'll see once she posts.

Felicia LaFou |

Oh shenanigans to come.... I shall make it worth your while!
Right meow, though, I'm taking advantage of the fact that she has not been directly addressed because I'm trying to move out of my apartment at school and go back home. Fear not, so far as the campaign goes I am about to have nothing but free time! starting next week sometime that is.

Felicia LaFou |

Okay, Two more days of insanity and I'm back in Carolina. Thursday I plan to sit down and Make that stat block Terquem asked me for, among other things. I did want to ask, Terquem, about a new thing I found. Since we have not been in combat yet, could I change my archetype to one that was just released in the Player Companion: Weaponmaster's handbook? Here's a link if you'd like to see:

Unbolath |

bright and early, Unbolath intends to be standing outside of the general store to purchase supplies and then will meet the group at the bell and whistle.

Ritmush Noscale |

Ritmush will likely badger wombat? john for a bit about bacon and see if he can't learn a bit about the town while he does so. Following that he will see if he can't find a handy tree to sleep in.
Next day Ritmush will wake whenever the sun bothers him enough to move. That or whoever owns the tree he is sleeping in goes to get their mallet.
Then he'll go to wherever he know there is bacon and see if he can buy himself some.
I suspect after that he will go to find Unbolath if he doesn't already know where he is.

Stella Lucem Caelum |

Stella would probably have a long talk with Oscar about if she wants to stay in town as she goes to help.
She has had a lot to take in and Dupree... oh Dupree....
Fully aware, she might not have gone WHERE but to WHEN! :P

Terquem |
I also should make something clear. I'm not sure everyone on this world would be using the same name for the world at this time. Okay, I know that sounds a bit over done and unnecessarily confusing, but I'm sort of picky about these kinds of things.
People from the western ring (The people who are now settling the west coast of Garicadia) call the world Riom, right now, only Portia, and Calliope are in this category (Unbolath, well, we really haven't explained how he got to Fort Horizon, exactly, but that can wait, and Ritmush, well, we really can't explain much of anything about him and trying will only make it worse ;) )
While people of the eastern ring call their world Pirrunoth
Some, very few, explorers from the west side of Riom have landed ships on the eastern shores of Pirrunoth, and the western shores of Garicadia, while Pirrunoth, though it might be more advanced, has not made any significant leaps or bounds in exploring the sea to the east or west of its shores, being more preoccupied with sending ships north and south along the coast line of their own continent.
And to make things even more complicated, the people of Torch (the people of what we are calling our "Numeria" setting) live in the central part of Garicadia, and are completely unaware of any other people on this world, those from the east or the west, are unknown to them.
The only thing that would clue Stella into something she would immediately understand, would be encountering someone from Pirrunoth, as that name would be familiar to her (it is the name of the "world" used in her home city of Rhandilinskenburg, but it is singularly unlikely that she will encounter anyone in Numeria, and Torch specifically, who knows this place name.
I'm going to try to find the link to the map of the World of Riom, showing exactly where Garicadia lies, and get it linked in the header of this game thread.

Unbolath |

Unbolath isn't from the world, although he may have been in other parts of the planet at various times or recently came to the Fort Horizon area from another plane, it doesn't matter too much. He would likely adopt whatever terms the locals used.
How do you like CC3? I have an old copy of CC2 that I struggle with sometimes but that I manage to wring usable maps from occasionally.

Terquem |
I have both CC3 and CC3+ and I like them a lot. I am not very good at using them (the learning curve has been steep, even though I've been using AutoCAD for years) but I am making progress. The biggest problem I have is scaling the symbols (like mountains, hills, towns and villages) to the map so that they look correct. I either make them too large or too small a few times before I get it right.

Terquem |
Alright, if everyone is still lurking about, let's try to get this moving again, okay.
The only problem is we've run into some glitches that are inherent in PbP gaming, the most significant one here is everybody off doing their own thing, and me trying to manage that.
I need Ritmush and John, as players, to come to a decision. Either Ritmush makes it to Khonnir's on his own, or he is stopped by John, and the two go to the marketplace first.
Unbolath can shop at the general store, either he can role play this, or tell me what he is looking for.
Azariah and Kleora can arrive at the marketplace, I think after Unbolath is finished buying any supplies.
Assume you have the discount you were promised.
What can we do to get everyone together and moving toward an adventure?

John Mosby |

It's up to Ritmush. If he goes, John goes with him so he's not wandering town alone. John will try to steer him though the market place to get to Khonnir's though so maybe we can pick up the others on the way. After all Ritmush doesn't know the town layout like John does. It's the way we need to go to get there. Yeah, that's the ticket. :)

Ritmush Noscale |

You absolutely do but ritmush is a paranoid little ball of exuberance and he would be uninterested in a "Adult" imposing themselves on his life.
Yes I am aware that is not what you are doing, Ritmush is going to bolt though.
Your character wouldn't know but the town he was an occasional tourist in had several folks that that tried to tame his wild nature. It backfired and he is somewhat distrustful of the motives of older people in relation to him. He is old enough to live and survive in the forest on his own, if he asks for help thats one thing but trying to push it on him will just make him react rashly.

Kleora |

Where did you get the comeliness score from Stella? Is it a carry over from the previous game?
*EDIT:
Ah, I see where it came from, haven't seen comeliness in use before though I'd heard of it.

Terquem |
Yes, *sigh* I had this grand idea in mind of using comeliness as a score and I was going to use it to control various encounters in the previous game that Stella was in (I even was thinking about introducing some questionable "adult" content to that game, but I never got up enough courage to risk it. Oh, well, it's just a carry over and will not play into this game, unless for some strange reason I get a few request to try to integrate the score into this game).

Kleora |

I've always liked the idea of it, always thought charisma was a little strange handling physical appearance as well as personality.

Stella Lucem Caelum |

I liked it and Stella had a fantastic Comeliness score and her sister (Deliberately) Had the opposite. Part of the Dichotomy we were playing.
I think its a fantastic thing and I don't mind adult themes at all. Just from description alone Unbolath, wouldn't have a comeliness score as in "good looking" But more as in. "ruggedly interesting and distinctive" from how he has been described. Keeping thinking god of war when I read it.

Azariah Seriah |

Oooh, Adult themes are always fun, if PM material on a forum like Paizo. I'll never get that...describe the succubus yanking a guys head from his shoulders and you're fine, right down to the popping noise his vertebrae make when it comes away, but describe a Succubus...aggressively feeding and you may get nuked from orbit.

Kleora |

I agree Azariah, one of the reasons I like playing over on rpol, you don't have that problem.

Terquem |
Well lucky for me I picked up a portable hard drive last year and I think my last full back up was in november, so I have that. I'm just a little peeved because the machine is only three years old. Went to do a restart yesterday after updates and it would not boot up at all after it shut itself down
I blame windows 10

Azariah Seriah |

Yeah, my gaming machine, hooked up to my TV, took a dive a few days ago. Thankfully I have the laptop I take to work. And my wife's laptop. And the old laptops. And enough spare parts to build another machine while the first one is being worked on...
...I Have Tech.

Unbolath |

Does the machine POST? Can you get to safe mode (Does windows 10 even have that? ) maybe you can uninstall the patch. Seems like it maybe isn't a hardware problem.

Terquem |
No, would not post. Took into a shop of a friend of mine for some simple tests, found both mother board and had drive failures - you know its my fault to being cheep an buying a cheep gateway machine
New HP pavilion machine is home now, transferring files from the portable hard drive. Tomorrow I'll install software, and maybe by Sunday I can type some word documents up for cut and paste to games
Biggest los is that my AutoCAD software is now useless. My 2004 edition was installed on a machine that was windows 8, which supported the install, and when I upgraded to 10 it ran in compatibility mode, but a machine pre built with 10 will not install AutoCad 2004

Terquem |
Update on my return - I don't want to bore anyone with details, but here we go. I bought an HP Pavilion on Friday, returned that machine to Best Buy on Monday and picked up a Dell. I am almost done setting up the Dell, and lucky for me my portable Hard Drive has almost all of my old maps and tokens. I hope to post a brief game update to all my games today, and by this weekend I should be posting maps again.
Thanks for being patient with me.
Also, I will send a second PM to Felicia today and hope she returns
