Ahmande motions to Senzer to go into his back room, but knows the timing of his spell is precise, and the man may not be able to get out of the way in time. Still, they needed these bandits to go down, and if Senzer was an accidental casualty, it was only sleep, after all.
Trying to get Senzer out of the sleep area of effect, but there may not be enough time for him to jump out of the way.
He then draws his bow, and aims it at the corner of the shelf, waiting for the man to round the corner into his view. He begins telling the tale of these Pathfinders and all they'd already accomplished here in Bloodcove, hiding in plain sight and ambushing more Aspis agents here right now!
Finish prior round casting: sleep
Move: draw darkwood longbow
Standard: begin bardic performance to inspire courage
A sleep spell causes a magical slumber to come upon 4 HD of creatures. Creatures with the fewest HD are affected first. Among creatures with equal HD, those who are closest to the spell's point of origin are affected first. HD that are not sufficient to affect a creature are wasted. Sleeping creatures are helpless. Slapping or wounding awakens an affected creature, but normal noise does not. Awakening a creature is a standard action (an application of the aid another action). Sleep does not target unconscious creatures, constructs, or undead creatures.

Senzer wipes his brow and wrings his hands in his leather apron. “Thank you, Pathfinders! I’ve been expecting you ever since I stopped contact. Tragic illness grips my poor son, Roald, and a woman named Lura Ichon claimed to have a cure. I signed away my entire operation to the heartless wench to cure my son, but the elixirs she sends every day are diluted with cheap rum to the point of being almost useless. In exchange she’s worked me sunup to sundown manufacturing drugs for her little den of vice, the Sanguine Pit."
“I know she found a real cure for my boy—tiny amounts of it in those elixirs she sends keep him from getting worse— but I can’t march into that bar of hers and demand it. And as soon as she learns what you did to her men, she’ll kill me and Roald, as sure as you’re standing here. I want to help you, really I do, but I gave the Society everything I had for three years. Now, I need you to return the favor. If you want any help supporting your excavation, I need that cure for my son, and some guarantee that Lura Ichon won’t dump us in the bay the moment you leave.”

As the last thug drops, Kaya rushes over to help stabilize him. (I'm guessing Ren will beat me to that though so I won't roll anything) She frantically apologizes to Ren, "oh my gosh I'm sorry. I just started bluffing hoping they would stop and then my mouth dug a hole I couldn't get out of and I don't know... I just kept talking smack and I'm sorry if I offended you or Desna. I have great respect for her. I mean, she's like awesome and you are awesome and... I'm sorry."
She turns to the alchemist. "Oh dear, that sounds terrible! We will of course help. Even if it wasn't for our shared interest in your skills, we would still help. Can you describe this Lura person so we know who to 'talk' to when we get there? And uh... if things go bad does she have a big crew at her bar?"

"Well, her headquarters, the Sanguine Pit, turns a tidy profit as a drug den and as an arena for animal fights. Most nights, the Pit hosts dog- or cockfights for your run of the mill commoners, but once a week she hosts an exotic bout between strange creatures from Mwangi and beyond. She arranges almost any fight that someone with enough money requests. Any given night there could be upwards of a hundred people, but I don't know that any would step up to helper in a fight. You make your way across town to the bar, doing your best to lie low, however, when you are about a half a block away, you notice the lone bouncer take note of your approach. He tries to casually go through the doors without making a commotion. As he opens the door, you hear loud cheering. Something is obviously happening inside.
Nearly eighty onlookers crowd the barroom of the Sanguine Pit, along with a half-dozen bookies and wait staff delivering drinks. The clamor of cheers and shouted bets drowns out any intelligible sounds in this large, crowded bar. A massive aquarium, fifteen feet on a side, dominates the room as a dogsized lobster creature and a dark green, man-sized fish with fanged jaws circle one another, occasionally trading blows. Heady, pungent smoke fills the air, and the floor is slick with spilled drinks and seawater. Near the central tank stands a well-dressed and well-rounded woman with auburn hair. Towering over her, at seven feet tall, stands her idealized, amazonian reflection. Both women bear a curious glowing rune on their foreheads. The bookies clearly defer to the smaller woman, and everyone keeps their distance from her glamorous bodyguard.
As you get your baring in the room, you notice the bouncer say something into the woman's ear as he points in your direction. Her eyes go wide before a wicked smile settles on her lips. "Looks like we have some new contestants. TIME TO PLACE YOUR BETS!"
