Lucrezia can flank and Andrea will pull healing duty again.

Since this is a 'boss' we might be better off not Power Attacking. Setting up flanks will be a must but beware the teleporting

A little dissapointed we coouldn't Rp with an actual outsider. I mistook it as something that was flung out there and mad that it got summoned and we could use that to our advantage

While we are waiting for John, How about some alternate world RP? Just something I was imagining if things went REALLY bad during the play (TPK)
Character is Jereome Telosonn. Dwarf Cleric of Abadar. Talking to Areal.

Jerome is sitting at the table with Areal, his look is grim as Areal tells him why he sent the message, asking Jerome to come.

Jerome sighs. Helping Westcrown be free of its corrupted nobles and laws and clearing the streets of Shadowbeasts was more than enough to at least come down here and talk about lending my aid, but after what happened at that theatre and what has been happening... Jerome shakes his head.

Areal, we've known each other for quite some time, we took on the oaths of Iomedae and Abadar to help bring beneviolent law to places like Westcrown, even if the law is corrupt we would work within the law to change the law. Even if it took more time than we would like. Step by step to build something that lasts.

Jerome sighs. But what have I seen and heard when I came here? You running a resistance with a special name, masks and hidden safehouses. If you were following Cayden Cailean, I could understand. I know we can't preach openly but we have other avenues

What disturbs me greatly is what has become of your efforts; A dead goblin band and bandit group brought down, but can that balance the dead hellknight armigers? Your group has ben marked for that. Plus most of all, the massacre of good people in that bloodplay. People who were your best and walked right into torture and agony, for a vague promise of defeating the shadowbeasts, and now they are gone.

What has happened to you Areal?

So what Can Orsin do? Any special tricks in his bag? Maybe grease the glaive? You could use WEB but it can just teleport

John might kill the lemure and get freed up, but we need to tighten up so you can shield walland get good flanks with Lucrezia and Tweaker

Gertrude approaches the table where Jereome and Arael are sitting. Tossing her hood back to reveal a shock of fiery hair which tumbles down her freckled milk-white shoulders. Her emerald eyes gaze deeply into the dwarf's for a moment, but she turns away and downs a swig of Jereome's ale. "Haven't lost your looks, I see. Can't say the same for Rowan though. Take comfort in knowing that at least he's forgiven you."

The wizard's diminutive fire elemental familiar peaks out from her lowered hood, it's tiny spherical body keeping close to Gertrude's hair. It floats out and spirals down the length of her seated body before cozying up to its master, floating just above the floor. She doesn't notice.

Placing a hand on Arael's she says, "You're doing the best you can. None of us expected Westcrown to a problem we could solve overnight."

I like the silence idea, but the devil's already here, so running interference with the cleric isn't going to help us much.

Problem with devils and demons is they can just spam teleport and tear everyoen apar tunless they get locked down. Duncan missed?Jesh. Where did John go?

Color spray would stun for 1 round on a failed Will save. Probably a weaker save than its Fort, just going off of size/appearance?

Maybe summon a small earth elemental or air elemental to run interferance? Damage wouldn't be great, but it would soak attacksI do need to heal Duncan ASAP unless he switches with someone or someone annoys the devil long enough

I could summon some celestial eagles and have them try to smite it

I don't have any summon spells known, but I'm thinking if luck's on our side we can stun it for a round if its fails on a DC 14 Fort save from ear-piercing scream. Not great odds, I know, but the 2d6 sonic is nice and bypass-y on whatever crazy outsider DR it may have also.

Grease and web are similarly problematic with movement, but that being said, it would eat up its standard actions...

Thoughts?

Reread the post, it was previously edited at the bottom explaining to disregard the attack as he did not have the quicken special ability feat.

If we grease the glaive it loses the 10 reach but then can start clawing us. That high damage and infernal wound is nasty I might need to prop Duncan up with cures..

Web? It isn't really close to any anchor points I think.(Baldwin?) but cna work

1d3 celestial eagles or a a wolf! Trip attacks can help make it fall down

I'd go with wolf. The free potential trips are too tempting to pass up in a fight against a single big foe.

Would the glaive get a save since it's attended?

I'm just gonna wait and see what it does at this point before deciding my action.

Its a pretty open space to find anchors points. He is also quite spiky with his beard, the web may not do much to hold him but you can always try.

Same thing happened with the Runelord game I just started in. DM got injured and had to recover, they do seem to be on the mend. The City of Strangers on stalled as well.

I have one who went to doctor and had to get appendix removed. He was gone 5 or 6 days and then showed back up last Thursday till Sunday but disappeared again. Was a really fun RotR anniversary edition group.

I believe Tweaker's cestus is silver so he gets full damage.

I don't know about you guys, but Andrea is going to go to the Grotto to get drunk and pass out after all of this crap.

*headscratch* A bit confused about the rules as well. I know that moving out gets the AoO depending on reach unless you 5' Step/Withdraw. You still eat an AoO if there are more than two attackers.

Also, everyone gets 1 AoO a round if it gets triggered. Combat Reflexes gets you 1 per dex bonus.

I do tend to skip through many of the various combat moves and actions since there are so many I tend to blank out. The curse of so many options.

Stuff on rules. Baldwin seems to be busy with some Rl stuff.

Hold on to your hats though, we have 1 more act to get through. That is when we start digging through our packs for anything we haven't used yet. Potion of Butt Kicking you were saving does no good if your head ends up in the balcony. (Although that would no doubt give us buttloads of popularity.)

I have 2 channels left

Check my profile for spells I have used.I have already used Momment of Greatness,Resit Energy,Bull/Bear's Endurance and Bless(If Orsin does not inspire)

I have Liberating Command SUmmon Monster 2,Invisibility,Remove Fear and Charm Person left.

Since 2 trolls are way too close I was thinking of going invisible to avoid getting rended and then weakening them all with a scroll of consencrate(Unless that spell takes a long time to cast) Channels would hel people and weaken the trolls and I could move freely to heal. If someone gets Feared I can use my Remove Fear spell and scrolls to help them

If I get a chance, I could summon celestial eagles(1d3) or a celestial wolf to help even things up.

We should wait for others to chime in on pre-buffs. I think John should take the potion of protection from evil since he really needs the will sav ebonus
