The gold on the masks is only painted on. I don't think we would find a buyer for that. But maybe in the earlier chambers some things have more value. I suppose the mirrors, or the statues of gods, could get us some money, if needed.Do you think we'd better let the statues here, Anset? I don't want to get on the bad side of Pharasma...

"We will have to remember to head the other way a couple chambers back before we leave as well, but so far it seems we must step deeper into the tomb before we find anything of worth." With that Malik once more checks for magical signatures in this new room before they leave too hastily.

Cast detect magic, the thing I shall be doing in every room forever :P

Malik:

You can detect no trace of magical auras anywhere within the spells range.

Male Human Rogue (Trapsmith 1)

Amal just seems to be casually looking around the room. "I agree, the treasure thats worth anything is usually deeper below... guarded by traps and what not too." Treasure heavily guarded by traps, dream come true!

"Yes it seems there is nothing to be found in this room, unless anyone else has any input? Perhaps we should head down those stairs Amal found." Malik's tone seems a little disappointed as he speaks. I am starting to wonder if there is anything of worth in this tomb

"Down it is, then." Dumah looks around, a little unsure as to where Bjoern and Amal have already checked for traps. He looks to them to lead the way, though he is ready to lead alongside someone more perceptive than he is.

Bjoern moves carefully closer and strikes at the creature while trying to protect his wounded shoulder but misses completely as the creature twist and turns. Dumah presses his attack, this time making an upward arching swing with his waraxe, hoping to keep the monster's attention away from his vulnerable allies. Dumah again slices deeply into the creature with a massive blow, and once again the blow seemed to have little lasting effect on the creature. Malik attempts to find an opening to shoot at the beast, but misses terribly with a curse, his bolt sailing past the creature and shattering against the stair wall. Amal is quick to strike at the creature, letting out a grunt. Amal misses with his first blade, but is quick to follow with the second which slices into the sandy menace, but the blade, as the dwarf's waraxe had little effect upon the creature.
