Ah … right. Head east then?
Elisile looks shocked for a moment at Dravite’s suggestion, and then shakes her head, not in disagreement but as if to shake the image from it.

The passage heads east and then turns north. It then splits, one branch heading north-east, one north-west and one east before quickly bending south again. Bright sunlight shines through the passage to the north-east, but to the north-west a foul stench emanates. A group of six of the scabrous goblin dogs lies snoozing. One idly raises its head at the unfamiliar scent of the party, opens its eyes and then yelps, rousing its fellows. They leap up and surge at the party.
Roll initiative.

Rolled a natural 1! Initiative 1d20+7=8
OMG! Hudak goes before me!!! Up is down! Dogs and cats are copulating!

OK - the set-up. You are in a chamber where four tunnels meet. This chamber is high enough in which to fight normally. The tunnels are not - half-movement, cannot use two-handed weapons except crossbows, cannot charge.
The chamber itself is at E-H/5-9. The doggies are in the corridor to the north-west, which is at A1, B2, C3, and D4 (being long and low, they are unaffected by the strictures of the corridor). The north-east corridor, through which can be seen the sunshine, is at I4, J3, K2 and L1. The corridor you came up is at F/10-11. The last corridor, turning east, is at I-K/7 before turning south.
Please place yourselves in the central room as you see fit, but you cannot occupy E5 to start (i.e. block the dog's corridor) as you didn't have time to organise, heading as you were for the bridge to the north-east.
Initiative:
Illes - 18+
Doggies - 18-
Hudak - 15
Larken - 14
Elisile - 12
Vethran - 9
Dravite - 8+
Alwyn - 8-
Lo'j - ?
We will assume Lo'j is delaying until he rolls an initiative, or he goes last, whichever comes first.
Illes Elandru
Illes was a bit preoccupied with potential illusory distractions, but Hudak's roar snaps him back to the present. The bow is off his pack in a flash and the bard knocks an arrow with an eye on the first of the goblins' ratlike dogs. To be fair Illes is a bit surprised at how true the arrow flies, considering he fired more out of reflex than a steady aim.
Start G7
MA: draw shortbow
SA: shoot lead goblin dog
Attack: 20+5 = 25 (confirm 4+5 = 9)
Damage: 1d6+1 = 6

Illes hits the dog but it keeps on coming.

OK, placing Vethran at G8 and Larken at F8. Initiative:
Initiative:
Illes - 18+

Hudak - 15
Larken - 14
Elisile - 12
Vethran - 9
Dravite - 8+

Lo'j - 5
In a storm of yelping and chomping, rodenty teeth, the goblin dogs are amongst the group, biting and barking.
The dogs are at E5, F5, G5, E6, E7, and F7. The one Illes hit with an arrow is at G5. The following have all taken a hit - Dravite (7 points), Illes (4 points), Gurney (Noooooo!) (5 points) and Hudak (5 points). Anyone taking a hit must also make a DC 11 Fort save vs disease or get goblin dog itch (yup - it's a nasty rash).
Now Hudak.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
My mistake - now put you in the right place on my map. You fail to take down the dog, so you also fail to cleave.
Hudak chops at a dog, slashing it foreleg. It stands on the remaining three but fights on with full savagery. Meanwhile, Larken stabs another with his rapier, inflicting a deep puncture wound. However, these dogs are tough and it continues the battle.
Larken stabbed the one in E7. For info, the dogs in E5, G5 and E7 are all injured.
Now Elisile.
Elisile Starbrow
Seeing that the chamber is too crowded and the melee too confused for bow work, Elisile races around the southern and eastern edges of the clearing, squeezing between Vethran and Alwyn, drawing her rapier as she goes. When she reaches level with Dravite, she stabs forcefully at the dog in front of him, the one bearing Illes’ crossbow bolt.
Attack: 19+5 = 24. Crit confirm: 10+5 = 15. Damage: 4, +5 if crit.
Dravite Schorl
fort save1d20+4=12
Dravite attacks with his hook then moves back 10' towards Elisile.
1d20+7=12, 1d12+4=9 then move to G8, probably allowing for AoO.

Sorry guys, very remiss of me, I forgot to actually add in coordinates to my description. Elisile moved to H6 and attacked the dog at G5 (the one that Illes wounded). Apologies if that effects Veth or Dravite’s turns.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
I'll assume that Vethran attacks the wounded ones in E5 and E7, as Elisile takes out one of his intended targets.
Elisile takes down one of the canines with a thrust of her rapier, and Vethran's spell eliminates two more. Dravite swings with his hook but, in the confined conditions, misses his mark. A dog snaps at him as he withdraws but doesn't connect.
Alwyn.
Elisile Starbrow
If it isn't too much bother, could someone NPC me for the next few days... both kids sick... wife sick... me sick...
No problem Dragonmann. Hope you guys get well soon. I'll look after Trose too if you like.

NPCing Lo’j:
“Good work team!” calls Lo’j, “Surround and conquer.” He swings his longsword accurately at the goblin-dog that he is flanking with Alwyn, seeking to destroy it before it can finish off Gurney.
Attack the dog in f7: 19+5+1 = 25. Crit confirm: 4+5+1 = 10. Damage: 3+2+3 (? Aura flanking bonus thing?) = 5 or 8
Gurney gets 12 on the fort save, does not contract goblin itch.
Illes Elandru
With the final dog caught between the towering half-brothers from the north, Illes draws his wand rather than another arrow and turns to heal Dravite.
CLW: 1+1 = 2, (37 charges left)
Well- at least that cures the itch if not much else.
Aubrey the Demented/Malformed
(450 xp each for the dogs.)
The north passage leads to the bridge. It is pretty much as seen from the observation point - about 50' long leading up to a gate in the palisade.
Larken peers at the bridge. "We need to be careful - this looks rigged to fall if more than a few people are on it at a time. I reckon three should be ok but no more."
The gate at the far end looks ajar - the goblins clearly don't anticipate attack. The bridge is overlooked by two watch platforms, but the goblins on them seem preoccupied. (Try Spot checks.)
