I know a guy who would be more than happy to jump in on a sci fi campaign. He actually already rolled stats in the recruitment thread (LabRAT) but didn't have a chance to put together a character as quickly as he'd of liked.
I think you planned for four characters anyways and it's been just the three of us. So even if Warhawk is still with us here, I can promise he'd be a good addition ;P
Oh, and at the risk of sounding like a nagging housewife... >.>;;
Were you ever able to look up variant multiclassing?
Was my idea to pick up the psychic sorcerer bloodline (from the occult books) and still go arcane trickster something you were allowing? I wasn't sure if you saying we could houserule it was a green light on my end and I didn't want to make assumptions or step on toes.

GM Soul Dragon |

Sure he's fine to join :).
I was at the store the other day and I could only get two books.....So I got the ACG and OA >_< sorry, but hopefully it'll be up on the PRD soon.
Yes you can pick up the psychic bloodline and I'll allow you to retool the arcane trickster as a psychic trickster. Just know that psychic abilities are a relatively new occurence on Astrexos, and are often manifested by being exposed to radiation.

More info would be great. Neyra left the Temple of Brigh, but I have no idea how far from the town square the temple is, nor does she really know what Father Iroy looks like. She could literally walk right by him and not even know it, especially if it's crowded.

Hey, I'm Blink's friend! I'm leaning toward Cavalier, but I did want to get feedback on what everybody would like to see in the party. Also, GM, how do you feel about the Ghost Rider Cavalier archetype?

LAB Rat |

Just a few quick things for clarification purposes: are guns commonplace or everywhere? Also, are you cool with me playing an orc, mister DM? Or would you rather I picked a different race? And finally, any word on what my options are for the ghostly steed? The last one's more for curiosity, really, but the rest are so I know what my guy has on hand before posting in the thread.

BTW GMSD, the Call to Arms: Fantastic Technology has different vehicle propulsion systems. They are: Combustion (like alchemical, but uses Profession (Driver) on land, (Sailor) on sea, and Fly for aerial vehicles), Reaction (more advanced combustion for settings with rocketry), and Fusion (more advanced Reaction for settings with fusion).

GM Soul Dragon |

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. No rush on the steed thing, that can get sorted out whenever. It can even be a ghost motorcycle or something, though that would be hell to stat out.
You're welcome, nothing to do locally so I entertain myself by reading the boards and checking my campaigns XD. I still have to read a bit more, but are there limitations on what the ghost can be? Also Warhawk, I will look into that book, but running low on birthday money so may not be able to get it. Plus I'll have to read more on vehicles, most of my time reading UC is the class chapter lol.

So,
Apparently the way it's worded, Amateur Gunslinger says that when the character gains a level in a class that provides grit (aka gunslinger), they MAY switch out the feat for Extra Grit. The archetype that I was planning on taking with gunslinger was mysterious stranger, as this archetype switches wisdom for charisma for grit. Now,if we go with RAW, I DO NOT want to switch out Amateur Gunslinger for Extra Grit, as that would have me give up the absolutely most necessary deed for a gunslinger... Quick Clear. My plan is to take mysterious stranger but keep Amateur Gunslinger to keep Quick Clear selected from that feat, and replace the deeds gained from gunslinger that are swapped with Mysterios Stranger. Your thoughts?
On a side note... I'd take techslinger, but it replaces some of the same deeds as mysterious stranger.

Just an FYI, I'll be moving to Japan in early November, but I'll have my laptop available. Internet may be an issue, especially when I actually move to Japan and need to get it activated there. I try to get on and check at least once per day, but the time of day it is done fluctuates.

Btw, in this world, melee weapons are usually extendable and have a lock feature that locks the the segmented parts of the weapon into place once extended.
So... [insert weapon material here] lightsaber w/o energy? If I had a quarterstaff, it would be like the Anla-shok's Denn'bok (Minbari fighting pike)?
Badass.
Is Neyra's longsword like that, or does it cost extra.

In character or out of character? Out of character, it's one of those crazy weapons orcs are proficient with that also happens to be super cheap. So I figured why not? The Skull Ram came out of the Melee Tactics Toolbox apparently.
In character, I'm thinking he uses it as something of a totem to commemorate special occasions. The skull on the end of it is the horse's skull that he uses as a mount even after its death. He carves into the totem himself with his dagger, so that he never forgets his past successes and failures.

No worries! If you click the link there, it'll show you what it is. The PFSRD is super handy for those who don't have the books. That said, if you're not on board with the weapon, I can always juggle it out for something else.
As for the Gazetteer, I liked it! Simple, followed the Paizo conventions of them, and easy to read. I am curious what the magic items in the town are and when we get to meet some of the rest of those notable NPCs, though.
