The map's up, you have to move through a Chuul square to charge the guy. He actually doesn't have Reach, but I have the Vicar up one square too far (he couldn't move that far out of the doorframe and still act).
AoO: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (5, 6) + 7 = 18
Grab: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (7) + 20 = 27
The Chuul manages to and a whack on Sledge, but Sledge's momentum stops him from being stopped.
Edit: Due to a mistake on my part (it can't share space with the statue, and the statue is too small for it to stand on. Only placed it there because the Chuul would have found it tactically advantageous with reach anyway), the Chuul is now ground level, 5 feet back. Sedge provoes no AoO.

Ah, if your attacks counted as Good you dropped it. I upped its HP considerably (gave it max per HD) since it was oddly squishy for a CR 9 beatstick creature, but you came close even with DR.
