The first Feat actually adds a bit of fire damage to all your attacks.

You know you wanna drop Divine Protection and Extra Revelation and start in on that. =)
The third Feat requires level 11 anyway.
I'd be inclined to allow you to research a spell that does what you want, though it'd be costly and time consuming.
A buff that lasts minutes/level and subtracts your CL from Fire Resistance, perhaps? 4th or 5th level spell I'd think.
I'd be willing to let you take this if you just needed a backup option.
Fire blasters get hard after a while, so I don't mind a bit of accommodation to keep you viable as long as it requires a bit of investment on your part (just like overcoming DR does for more standard damage dealers).

And as the DM works his mental games on the unsuspecting party....
Also Hair and Tentacles... that does not mean good times last I remember.

To be fair they do get Divine Strike
There is a magic item that reduces Cold Resistance/immunity as a 1.5 k potion.. last like.. 30 mins I think.

Zin'Retatarianna Mor |

Hellfire Blast is way out of character for Z.
She may do arguably evil things at times, either out of her anger or being rash, but ultimately she wants and tries to be a good person.
Condemning someone's soul to hell is right out.

Cold also gets Winter Witches. For whatever reason Paizo just decided that Cold Immunity just shouldn't be a big deal.
The research option is interesting. But I'd have to figure out how to work that. Z is actually kind of book wormish, but she spends almost all of her time researching her curse when able, and relies more on her nature prowess for combat. We also haven't really had access to a library since Leipstadt.
She's certainly seen enough fire immune stuff over the course of the campaign to be annoyed by it however, so it's on her mind.

When I thought about Z's curse and water it just totally made sense to wrote in this weakness and I just assumed her wings would take care of any future water issues.
I didn't know we'd be going into a lake. =/
With no access to scrolls this is going to be a tough one to solve.

I apologize for my absence, as it was greatly unplanned and annoying. In Kalamazoo, where I currently live, there was a power outage at first about 10 days ago for about 2 days, I was able to use the uni because the campus had generators for most of the important functions. Then not long after it happened AGAIN because of a very bad accident, vehicles were involved. This cut out the power mostly to the area where I lived.
I endevour to catch up to all my games and apologize once more for any interruptions on my behalf.

In the subject of Grease as a utility spell as opposed to a control one, I think it falls into the same trap as cure spells in combat; where even though it may sound decent on paper, the way combat works in Pathfinder it's pretty much almost always better to inflict damage or disable the monster.
As a dead monster not only stops grappling in the first place, but also does not inflict damage.
Pathfinder is pretty light on high impact utility spells, it's one of the reasons protection from evil and haste stand out so much from all the others, the rest are just too situational, or what they do can just be solved better by just killing the problem.
I mean this reason is why Wizards are strong in the first place. Sorcerers are plenty strong in combat, they just can't afford to take all the useless nonsense that Wizards can gain access to in noncombat.
I'd say this and the state of combat maneuvers are two of the big failings of the system.

WOW! That...totally f***s up Amanorn for at least, what, four or five levels until we have access to healing that?
...
...
...
...you guys just wanna drop the drooling simpleton off at the nearest town, maybe pick up a friendly guy? Nobody seemed to like him, anyway. I...have a few other ideas. (Arcane Archer isn't as boss as I thought it was anyway. Ugh.)

Zin'Retatarianna Mor |

Z doesn't get access to heal for at least another book, so yeah it's quite a while.
Yoy could always become AM! The great barbarian Archer, enraged by distant memories of your spellcastery past.......

To be fair, I did sorta warn how the AA was going to be. It was less than rewarding as you saw.. Unless you went martial with magic. You went the opposite.

So that's the last time anyone dies? At the rate you were going early on, I'm surprised.
I'm not saying you called it... But you called it.

It's not that deep. Mistakes were made. Frankly Am was too one dimensional. I threw his personality together as I went along and it became a running gag. I added the comments about deflecting growing close to people to squeeze some depth in there, but overall...meh. Darius was right about AA, and I suck with a prepared caster. I wasn't kidding about dropping him off somewhere if it's okay with Sun. :-/ I should've thought of a character before a build, but I hadn't played PF in so long I got excited at trying a class combo I never played and hastily slapped together a shell. I am disappointed in myself.

Zin'Retatarianna Mor |

My only thoughts is I'm not sure if the party is just going to be OK with dropping off a mentally disabled man somewhere.
Z isn't going to let Amanorm just be mind blanked forever, she's going to want to fix this.

If it helps Jones with his new character concept, should he be shredded into bits this encounter, my new character is going to be a LG Dhampir Undead Bloodline Tattooed Sorcerer with emphasis on enchantment/illusion/necromancy (because when you are given an exemption to a bunch of immunities undead monsters would otherwise have, you take advantage of that. "Did you just send a wight running away in terror? HOW did you do that? They have immunity to mind effecting stuff!" "Not when I cast it, they don't."
Also, this name is entirely a result of looking through Nordic naming conventions and wikis (Lit - "friend darkwinter"). I figured Ustalav was generally nordic in culture. If not - whatever, I'm a displaced Ulfen, then.
The stats still need work. A lot of it is converting from Amanorn's sheet as a template. I haven't had access beyond my phone for a few days.

Uh, I was actually hoping you guys would use that Salve of the Second Chance I have. :\

Ooh, I'm done. I even typed a paragraph or two of backstory this time instead of generic "I'm an adventurer."
Why is it so much easier to put a story to a level 1 character than 10?

Vänne Mørkvinter |

If you kill me by isolation from the party right after I made a new character, Fitz is gonna meet a swarm of cazadores while he steps into the woods to take an emergency dump from some bad prewar food he ate, so nyah.

Posting her because this site is a piece of s*%% and refuses to let me post in the Gameplay thread for some reason.
Darius recognizes it as a Gug, a Large Aberrant creature with few special abilities to speak of. As no normal Gugs cast spells, Darius determine sthis to be a Gug Savant, granted powers over stone and evil energy by its dark patron.
Of course, Darius cares not for its god, and whips it across the face. The ceiling is 20 feet up, but it's Large so you're good.
It retaliates with a blast of evil that catches the three frontmost people: Darius, Sledge, and Jones, revealing itself.
Damage: 5d8 ⇒ (1, 7, 1, 7, 7) = 23
You three make me DC 18 Will saves. Darius need sthe save to halve damage and negate the Sickened effect, while the other two will take 1/4 damage.
Init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
5d20 ⇒ (10, 11, 11, 4, 14) = 50
Vanne (26)
Zin (25)
Jones (20)
Gug Savant (16)
Darius (12)
Sledge (6)
Vanne, Zin, and Jones are up!
