Reijo sees nothing worth more of value and his more through searching is disturbed by approaching voices. No doubt should he be seen exiting the stores, he may well be accused of stealing a punishment worth of a keel hauling.
No Eyes leads his companions down but is unable to find anything that have hidden their companions.
"No-Eyes" Bellamy
"Dammit!" Shouted No-Eyes after minutes of fruitless searching. He kicked a hull strake for emphasis.
"How can they be BELOW the bilges?"
He raked his brains for answers.

To Bellamy, "Course ye don't see 'em. Yer BLIND!"
To Nolwazi, "Why don't ye look careful-like with me?" Reijo spends a couple of minutes combing the entire room with his intense eyes.
He also keeps his ears perked for any noises above. With a suspicious glance up the ladder, "Bloody trap, it be."

Reijo hears a faint whisper and then nothing.....followed by a slight bump and it seems to lead to the bilges according to what they know and he finds a rope. Slimy and damp.
Lying by itself and seemly unattached to anything disppearing into the boards of the wood......
"No-Eyes" Bellamy
"What? A rope?" Queried Bellamy.
Curious, he touched the rope. Then he felt along it to where it anchored and then back to where it disappeared into the hull.
Reijo Ilvonen
Reijo smirks as Bellamy touches the slimy, wet rope, "Nay Blindey, it be a serpent o'the seas!"
After chuckling a heavy smoker's chuckle, he then shrugs and pulls the rope.

Bellamy feels along the rope and to his surprise finds the rope ending into nothingless as his questing hands finds nothin but a gap where there should be wood.
Nolwazi nervously tightens teh rope even as Reijo prepares to pull on it.
Bellamy gets the feeling that pulling the rope could be very bad.
Reijo Ilvonen
"What?!" Reijo freezes mid-pull. The pirate looks over the rope and its mysterious connection with the floor once more, before turning his head to glare at Bellamy. "Whatche be 'fraid of, ye panzy geezer? I be jokin' bout the serpent fer Besmara's bloody sake..."

"I think pullin' on the line's a bad, bad idea Reijo boy." Replied Bellamy.
Carefully, he slid his hands along the rope down to where it met the hull. Continuing to press, he slid them further, down past where he felt the emptiness...

Reijo seems to hear whimpers while Bellamy finds his hands disappearing into the hole, a fact that escapes no one.
Reijo Ilvonen
"Oi!" Reijo exclaims at the sight of Bellamy's hand disappearing into the wood. "Bloody witch, methinks. Prob'ly waitin' fer us down there, methinks... or she be gettin' Baldylocks t'keep us down there."
The pirate kneels down closer to the matter-less floor. He calls down, "Avast! Who be whimperin' down there?!"
He then checks Nolwazi's ropework for a secure knot. Then, "I be goin' down first an' all, but I best be stayin' up here, in case we be gettin' comp'ny" Scratching his goatee, he looks at Nolwazi, "Lucky, ye an' Blindey gots the healin' touch. Ye go down with'im, if ye can, an' I be watchin fer backstabbin rapscallions." as he looks up the ladder.
The seasoned sailor checks to see just how slimy the rope is first. If he thinks too slimy to climb, he whips out the new and fantastic rope worth 200 gold he just bought and ties that up instead before dropping it down the invisible hole for his companions.

Within the hole lies a sight.
All of the missing sailors are within but all badly wounded and diseased. The only one still semi-consious is Rosie and in her delirum, she mutters about brothers, towers and thrown things.
The rest are carrying what seems to be wounds from being in a fight but what seems to most grevious of injuries belongs to Crimson “Cog” Cogward who is bandaged up and bleeding from large wound in his chest. A miracle that he's still alive. His left arm is twisted and is obviously broken, his right knee shattered and old bits of bone still jut out from his shulder.
You also find a table, old healing supplies, a makeup kit and what seems to be a wardrobe for women.
Nolwazi Nkosi
Nolwazi mutters to herself when she sees the She pulls uses stabilize liberally.
"Dem wounds be dank; be needing big help.". She pulls out her own kit and sees who she can help (likely exhausting the kit). "Make sense o' the the squall. All of em' down here but dey smashed"
Take 10 for a 19.
"No-Eyes" Bellamy
No-Eyes gawped a bit at the sight (so to speak), then reached back and dragged Reijo in with them.
Quickly sorting through the injured, Bellamy put his flask to Cog's lips.
"Have a sip o' this boyo." He whispered.
Concealing his gestures, he cast Cure Light Wounds at the same time.

Reijo hesitates to relinquish his line of sight to the door above. But he sighs in compliance. Taking one last listen for footsteps above, he makes his way down the rope to have a look around. On spotting Rosie, he makes his way over to her. "Give some here, Blindey." As he bends down on one knee beside the halfling, he has a thought. "Ye still gots them healin' seeds?"

Reijo looks bemused, I ain't no healer! The bloody hell I be knowin' what t'do with'em!"
Looking at a handful of the seeds, he then looks back and forth between Bellamy and Nolwazi, "Jus... eats'em? Or d'ye have t'do some voodoo-witchery? Turn round three times, 'cite the name o'some demon, drink the blood ov'a goat or somethin' 'fer it t'work prop'r?"
The sailor tries putting a seed in Cog's mouth first. "Here goes nuthin'..." He then watches the sick man, looking for a sign that it's working on him (or killing him) before giving the next seed to Rosie.

Cog coughs as the seed makes its way down his throat but his pallor improves greatly as he settles down into a deep sleep. Reijo with his vast experience of the sea after a whiff of the seeds deduce them to be some sort of narcotic drugs that dulls the pain and send the users to a deep sleep.
You find amongst the missing crew;
Sandara Quinn who is now unconsious with obvious swelling on her arms.
Rosie Cusswell Job who is delerious and has high fever.
Crimson “Cog” Cogward Job, broken bones, bandages soaked with blood and the man is still breathing somehow.
Conchobhar Turlach Shortstone Job, a bump on his head suggests concussion but not knowing how long he's being like that makes it difficult.
There doesn't seem to be anyone else here or above.
The seeds themselves seem to lift a gloom offthe rest of you, as if somehting heavy has being removed.
Reijo Ilvonen
Reijo is about to smack the seed out of Bellamy's hand, when... he decides he hasn't had enough amusement in some time, and instead waits to speak up only after the poor blind man swallows the seed.
Seeing him merely taste it however, Reijo looks dejected. "It be puttin' ye into a sound slumber if ye swallows 'em."
Looking around at the sickly crew, "Each be havin' thar own ailment. Nay a one cause be puttin' them t'slumber like they be riggin' fer a fourtnight an' no rest. Me wonders why Baldy ain't jus knock'em out an' shackle 'em."

Reijo takes note of the symptoms the two sick ladies are exhibiting. He tries to remember if he's seen these kinds of sickness before, and then attempts to mimic what was done to help them if possible.

Reijo with unusual care from this rough and callous man examines the two ladies.
With Sandara, he discovers she has contacted scurvy and would need some fresh fruit to be given to her as well as fresh water and food in order for her to break out of her fever.
With Rosie, his hands discover only a high fever and he knows that the worst of it is gone. He discovers the source of it though as a slash along her arm has gotten inflamed and thus is causing the fever.
Reijo finds two barrels though small holds the necessary items which is unfortunately getting less. Someone had being treating them but obviously not very well.
No eyes and Nolwazi's healing procides the most remarkable results as brief motes of pulsating energy infuses the wounded crew healing their wounds.
"Ooh my head...." moans one awakening gnome. Conchobhar is awake as the gnome clutches his head and rolls into a tight hug.
Reijo Ilvonen
Indicating Sandara the cleric, "Arrr! Besmara's lass be havin' the Scurvy! Me seen it b'fore, she be needin' fresh fruit t'be right as rain 'gain."
And to Rosie, "An' Shorty 'ere be burnin' up, though me thinks it be a passin'. The li'le lass be havin' a bad cut on 'er arm."
Pointing at the barrel of supplies, "Some good fer nuthin' be given these tars bad med'cine, methinks. See if ye be findin' some limes'r'or'nges er somethin'."
The sea warrior then heads for Conchobar on hearing his voice, and cuts immediately to the chase. "Aye, Sharky! Whatchye recall b'fore ye gots sapped ov'r the noggin', eh?"

As Bellamy goes up the rope, he hears something else....a rasp of steel being drawn from its sheath. A fragrant perfume wafts up to his nose and he catches a glimpseof a vulpine like face..... before said figure vanishes......
"No-Eyes" Bellamy
No-Eyes slid back down the rope and listened hard.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
"What the hell was that? I coulda sworn there was somebody up top! Right at the rope! I heard steel drawn and smelled ... perfume."
He turned his head back and forth.
"Now... there's nothing."
He resumed his climb up, but now a lot more wary.
Reijo Ilvonen
"Perfume ye say? Hmpf! It be the bloody shape shif'r." Pausing a moment to recollect, "Me seen an'smelt 'er b'fore. I ain't be sure what she be aft'r, but methinks she ain't out t'slit th'throats o'me an'ye."

Bellamy makes his way more up now wary and then hears a silent whisper as if from a distance.
"Beware, they await you above decks, I have nothing that will work against them... Your allies are currently captured...."
"No-Eyes" Bellamy
Bellamy slid down the rope again.
"OK, it's NOT my imagination! This time I heard it say, 'Beware, they await you above decks, I have nothing that will work against them, your allies are currently captured.'"
"So NOW what do we do?"
Reijo Ilvonen
Reijo's expression grows grimmer. "We kill'em all. Or die tryin'." He then climbs back up the rope. Halfway up, he looks back down to Bellamy again, "Or we take a dinghy outta 'ere. Hah." Looking around for where the invisible person might be, he says, "Ey! Hidey! How many o'them Rahabricadabras be 'gainst us? An'... what else ye be knowin' 'bout Baldy's plans fer us all?"

"He wants you all dead. The seeds I gave you should protect you from the plants he placed on deck. They have no immediate effects but over time, they can get a person intoxicated and if removed immediately, can send most into unconsiousness." The voice pauses.
"I like you better than him but they have 18 whereas....." the voice dies off...

What was Conchobar's response to Reijo btw? Post Link
Clutching his head and rolling into a tight ball. lol Reijo gets the feeling the little gnome has one heck of a hangover or some such.
This time the sounds of footsteps can be heard clearly as booted feet stomp wooden planks, it seems a dozen men or so has being rounded up.
"No-Eyes" Bellamy
Bellamy curses softly under his breath.
He hums a bit of a sea shanty... To cast Shield o' Faith.
"Well Reijo boy, looks like we're fight'n for all the marbles this time."
He gives his companions a gap toothed grin.
"O'course, they ain't gonna have such a easy time when I call the fog in, don't cha think?"
Reijo Ilvonen
"Me likes th'idea Blindey. Don't suppose ye gots any oil on ye? Me can climb up an' puts it all'round under foggy cov'r, sneaks up an' lites up... Lucky be keepin' ye all safe down'ere wit'her wat'rspout magick, aye? An' save th'ship," With a look of vengeful malice now, "once they all be charr'd t'a crisp."
Does it sound like they are one or two floors above us? I want to get this done before they get to the floor above us...
"No-Eyes" Bellamy
No-Eyes reached into a pouch on his adventurer's sash and pulls out a red colored glass phial.
"Nothin' spices up bland food like a little Alchemist's Fire! He, he he!" Cackled No-Eyes as he handed it to Reijo.

Based on what you're hearing now that Bellamy has brought to your attention, it seems that they are just a floor above you and heading down....I hope the rest of you are ready....
Reijo Ilvonen
"Aye. Yer cover o'fog be good fer me plan." With a look at Nolwazi, motioning to all there with a hand wave, "Jus' keep 'em safe with yer waterspout."
"Be seein' ya mateys." Reijo takes the flask from Bellamy and stuffs it into a pocket. He then draws a different flask and gulps it down and... Poof! Reijo disappears before their eyes! Well, before Nolwazi's eyes at least.
Nolwazi then sees the rope jostle about a bit, as if being climbed by an invisible person...
Reaching the top (the bilges), if there is time before anyone reaches eye shot of the rope, he cuts the rope and lets it fall down to his shipmates below. Either way, Reijo seeks to evade physical contact with anyone who might be there. Silently, he makes his way around anyone, poniard in hand, heading for the ladder up to the lower deck...

Then slaps his hand aside when he tried to cut the rope.
He turned his head about, trying to perceive enemies.

Invisible Reijo is about to rebuke his companion, but wonders how the blind man can see the invisible? He then shifts focus and opts for silence as he looks around the bilges for their enemies, then carries on towards the ladder.
What's in the bilges right now? Any equipment, filth, etc.? It may prove useful to Reijo's strategy.
