Dropping his bow, Terry scrambles up the rigging, pulls his blade, and gets ready to swing across on a rope and see if he can't get enough momentum to knock one of the other sailors off the deck . . . which will be next round.
| Reijo Ilvonen |
Round 1
Piercing blue eyes unflinchingly penetrate into the soul of one of the soldiers as Reijo walks up to him with an unnervingly casual gait. Smoke adds to the hazy fog from Reijo's pipe as his drawn cutlass hangs low, ready to cleave its first victim.
A sinister grin is the final touch, threatening to cause this poor soldier the need to change his underpants...
Reijo also seeks to position himself strategically, such as either standing on the aft deck or flanking a soldier. Whichever would not provoke an AoO; otherwise, he'll simply move up to the nearest soldier.

Reijo's manical grin coupled with an oh so easy gait, breezing past the smoke in the air as he walks brazenly past a trio of combatants locked in mortal combat, his eyes gazing through their souls.
They break and flee. With the combination of bombs, knives and magic, Reijo's stare decides is for them.
End Combat. Round 2 is open for actions. Please indicate which round you are doing like Reijo.

Round 3
As the fog clears, you see Captain Harrigan and two officers rushing madly for the doors to the captain’s cabin below the aft deck, slashing and hacking as they move.
a Rahadoumi sailor is sneaking up behind Harrigan.

Nolwazi climbs onboard, takes a longing look at the ships boats.

Ermm Doc there's no one for you to toss a bomb at.. You might want to retcon that. Don't worry, the bomb will hit someone, the rounds are continuous for now.
Terry's amazing moves sends her squarely onto the ship and as she strikes her pose and speaks her piece, she realises that there isn't anyone else left where she is, they're all fighting elsewhere. Same as when Doc prepares a volatile mixture to throw, he finds no one a valid target.
With all of you on board the enemy ship now, the full effect of what is happening can be seen now.
Maheem striking with open palms and kicks, spinning and dodging strikes with a grace defying his bulk.
Rosie striking swiftly with her Daggers along with Grok's greataxe sweeping away all opposition. A deadly combination of both grace, skill and power.
Ral getting cut from a cutlass, and about to get skewered by another when Crimson 'Cog' bullrushes his would be slayer into the water, earning himself a slash on his shoulder.
Kroop cutting a wide swath with nothing but a cleaver, a chopping board as his shield and a large sauepan over his head. He seems to be holding up quite well against 6 soldiers.
Shivikah and Conchobhar Turlach Shortstone exhange magical missles between a trio of enemy mages which dissapates harmlessly against magical barriers.
All this and more can be seen as you have gained and secured your area.
Waiting for Round 3 actions now. See above posts after Reijo.

Whoops. @ Terry and Nolwazi. Map updated.
The lightning jolts him long enough with the rest of your warnings as Captain Harrigan spins and lashes out giving the unfortunate soldier a new opening at his throat.
He looks at each of you carefully before parrying yet another blow and then dispatching his opponent with a savage cut.

Sorry, I thought there were still one or two soldiers blocking our way.
Doc rushes about helping to heal wounds of anyone who has gotten. I'm not really sure what else to do for the moment.

Round 6
Satisfied with Nolwazi's handling of the wheel, Reijo spots the three soldiers trying to escape by boat. A sinister smile on his face, Reijo swiftly moves into melee with all three. His cutlass swings at one of them, while he tries to defensively parry any incoming attacks with his offhand axe.
Attempting to be adjacent to as many of the three soldiers as possible, provoking an AoO from me (and anyone else who wants to push into melee) when they try to climb into the boat or work the ropes to release the boat. If he sees someone else engaging in melee with them as well, he'll adjust his target square so he's not in their way (and is ideally flanking).

As the onrushing waters from Nolwazi's strange goddess pass by him to push another meal to the sharks below, Reijo grins as he angles his cutlass into the stream for a moment, cleaning his blade of excess blood... and spurting the bloody water mix into the eyes of the sailor that struck him in the arm.

Round 11
The pirates are winning that much is obvious and your keen eyes soon spot through the chaotic battle that there seems to be yet another attempt to escape.
This time and officer and four flunkies attempt to lower a boat down and they're almost succeeding. Dressed in a chainshirt and very well made boarding pike in hand, she gestures for her hirelings to hurry.

Round 11
"Git'em!" Reijo blurts out and points to the five new escapees with the tip of his pick-like axe.
"Me gots this'un'ere." He proceeds to attempt to dish out death to the remaining sailor before him.
But his undercut is dodged. Reijo steps carefully to allow one of his allies to flank (should one be so inclined), and yells at the remaining sailor angrily. "Hold still, ye mangy bilge rat!"

Reasoning that with Remidax and Reijo on the case, he and Nolwazi to protect the wheel is reasonable to obey both orders.

Round 12
If nobody does anything about the escaping five on round 11...
With nobody seeming to go after the escaping five, Reijo spits before the surrendered sailor and yells aloud, "Oi! Me gots t'do everythin' meself?! GIT THEM... NOW!!"
Reijo hustles over to them. Cautious of the armored one with a polearm, he swiftly looks at the boat's rigging to determine a weak point, positioning himself to chop one of the ropes keeping the rowboat level and boardable. He's seeking to cause the boat to falter and fall 90 degrees... even if one or more soldiers have already boarded it, and perhaps fall into the shark-infested waters...

Round 13
Reijo growls like a rabid pit bull at the pikewoman. Teeth bared but still clenching his pipe, he drops his wounded arm's cutlass to the floor... slipping that hand into a pouch. Barking at the woman loudly, his concealed hand then suddenly springs forth, tossing a reddish powdery substance into her eyes...
However, the wind appears to have a different opinion on where the powdered chili pepper should go...
His mouth then begins to foam...
