All: I wanted to let you guys know that Nosa's player, Jason, will need to take some time away from the game to attend to some RL responsibilities. Please pray for his wisdom and fortitude! For Nosa, I'll keep him on as an NPC until such time as Jason can return.

Sorry, it's tough for me to get much time between Monday mornings and Thursday evenings right now. Work is really humming. Redoing one of our site is wearing me out with the glitches. CSS was great when it came out, but now it's just a tangled mess with js and php. It's like jenga.

One of my school classes has me learning CSS, I get exactly what you mean.

You know what this site needs is email post notification via subscription. It is handy to know when new posts are up.

True, sometimes the site doesn't show there are new posts. It is much better in that respect though.

I also don't get online everyday recreationally. In fact, I only get on with purpose. So like this site, I'll check a couple days in a row, but then I might not check it again for 3 days. On the other site, if I get an email I will get on because I know there's been activity. I was also a mod on the site. My section of town wasn't frequented often, but when someone did stop by, I got an email.

Where I live we don't have access to broadband, so all of my home net usage is through a tether. So I don't get on everyday typically.

Well since I've got all your emails, I could send a rapid message to let you guys know I've posted. Will that help?

As a side note, Phedron, the idea you're separated from broadband madness sounds delightful on so many levels...

Yes, it's not bad. It is funny how many people (and companies with their product) forget that not everyone can get broadband. The size of software updates is also getting to be outrageous. Just a different way of doing things. We also don't have any fashion of broadcast television/cable/satellite. Though, that's choice (and monetary) than availability.

Sorry guys. Rough couple of days. We had some folks get laid off at my job so a lot of sadness and prayers and transition. I'll get back in the saddle tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that. Always stressful. I've watched my share of folks pushing carts to the door... and it always sucks... Prayers incoming for those affected. :(

Oh my gosh that looks so pretty. I've heard that initial positioning and contact can stretch a bit. But I've also heard comparisons to the initial contact before engagement between subs. "Verify distance to target, one ping only."

In either case, color me jealous!
