This PBP game is about expanding one's horizons and taking what fate gives you and using it.
Setting will be Golaron
!Note your Class, and race will be semi-random as you pick 8 classes and 4 races and I'll randomise which one is used.!
I'll be looking at the results to find a module (1st or 2nd level) that will be chosen.
Stats: 20-point Buy
Traits: 2
Classes allowed: All but Summoner and Gunslinger and see below
Races Allowed: Core + Assimar, Tiefling, Changeling, Dhampir, Suli and see below.
Starting Cash: Max
Starting HP: Max
Is 3PP or 3.5 material allowed: Limited and Requires GM approval
You pick 8 classes, 2 from each sub grouping *(Assault,Skilled,Divine,Arcane) and you can't use the same class twice if it appears in more than one group.
you pick 4 Races.
I'll randomise the selection for both.
then you pick 4 archetypes, that you like.
I'll randomise it and the character's gender.
Then the player comes up with their backstory.
To make up for some of the control removed, I'll allow each player up to two feats or spells from 3PP I own or from 3.5 books (pending that I find it not broken.)
What our your thoughts on this.
*Definitions
Assault = Full BAB, or 3/4 with combat boosting abilities.
Skilled = any class with 6 or 8 skill points per level.
Divine = Any class with divine magic or can cast Cure XX Wounds
Arcane = Any class with arcane magic (Alchemists are in this list)

Male Human Ranger(Shapeshifter)
Background:
It is said ‘some are born to greatness, while others have greatness thrust upon them’. As it has been also said ‘it takes all kinds’. Take these two together and you will have some small explanation of why Grellar left home so quickly when his Uncle died.Born into the ruling family of Clan Graymane, he never felt comfortable being a pack leader. In spite of being groomed for the position since birth, he never felt the call to dominate others. So when his Chieftan died, he called upon not fierce combat ability, but another great Clan trait. He ran, escaping only by taking ship with strangers- a step no Cat Clansman had taken before.
Now he travels a foreign land, experiencing new fellowship, and seeking the unknown quantity that has called him his whole life.
human(?) tribesman, member of clan of minor shapeshifters (Cat); He is trained to battle and to provide for his clansmen. Ranger (shapeshifter)- planning on taking Aspect of the Beast (for claws) and Form of the Cat; While killing is not a stranger to him, he is reluctant to send others to their death.

Warg the Wanderer was born in Irrisen in the seventieth year of Queen Elvannia's reign to the wandering Ulfen skald and local witch descended from one of the earlier queens. Sickly as child, he almost did not survive the childhood, plagued by headaches and illnesses of the lungs. No witch or wise woman could find a cure for him and most of them advised his mother to leave him to the cruel winds and bitter cold to take him so that she can marry again, since his father left them when he was not yet four years of age.
She refused.
Defying the community, who scorned her for such weakness, she wowed to keep her son alive. Money was scarce, so she prostituted herself to the foreign merchants and jadwiga both male and female and even to the snow goblins - all that so she could buy expensive foreign alchemical substances that would for a short while ease her son's headaches and coughing. He was ostracised, beat upon and humiliated on every turn for years and years. He used his exclusion from the warrior games of other children to read the books from his late grandfather's rich library and to learn of other countries and other worlds, of other gods and other peoples. Unknown to him, his mother made two pacts so that she could keep him alive: One was with the mighty winter wolves and the other was with the enigmatic being, called the Dark Prince. One of the she-wolves that lost her pups to the Andoran hunters allowed Warg's mother to milk her each day and feed that milk to her son in an exchange for the promise of revenge, because she knew that she can not ever leave the frozen lands of Irrisen, but her foster son could. That lasted until his fifteenth year. One morning, maddened by his continuing survival, cruel youth of Irrisen's capital ganged upon him and beat him bloody, puncturing his kidneys and lungs and breaking his left leg in two places. When he was brought back to his mother, he gave no signs of life. She pleaded to all the gods and demons she knew, but no one answered. No one, but the Dark Prince. A six-horned shadow with eyes of white flame flew through the window of Warg's room, not breaking the ice from which the window was made. Both heads spoke with silvery voices and offered a deal to Warg's mother: "The young one will be healed of his wounds, and taken away from Irrisen, but from that moment on, he will serve me. He will seek my enemies and fight them wherever they are and he will protect my interests and my disciples with his might and life. He may yet die some day in the future - but now he will live." And so it happen that Warg's mother accepted the offer of the Dark Prince. And that's the beginning of the tale of Warg the Wanderer.
