Male Human Cavalier (Order of the Lion)/1

Gawain listens in closely to the planning, nodding along to his part in the upcoming and most recent part of his new lord's planning and then finally glancing over at Mangur when he inquiries to as Gawain's colors. With a simple shrug, Gawain withdraws one of his handkerchiefs and hands it to Mangur for his inspection of its bold Red and Gold Lion coloring before retrieving the colored cloth.

"Red and Gold as you can see, and a Lion symbol if you can manage, but if not, the coloring will be fine for you to act as my valet. Truth be told I've never had a valet before, although my father has." He looks the party over that is present and then cracks his neck.

"Come Mangur, let's see about finding you the proper adornments, if there is nothing else we need be around here to plan." He looks at the others with an eyebrow raised.

Mangur will use Diplomacy-Gather Information to find a cloth merchant and a seamstress to fashion proper cloths for himself and Gawain.

Alika's eyes change not a whit when Matt admits that he was wrong. She is above gloating, but she does hope that he has learned that her objections do not come from a place meant to inspire rancor.

Alika smooths her professional dress into place and owns her air of easy confidence. "Well then, I will meet with the valet and arrange our audience," she says.

She turns and addresses herself to Mangur and Gawain. "Red and gold are adverse to your coloring, Factor," she volunteers in a sedate tone. "A valet is not a lick spittle, he is in a position of trust. If you must wear the colors, wear them sparsely, as a badge, not a shield."

"A tabard is what I was thinking, Alika. That is how I have observed them worn by others. And do you really think me a lick spittle?"he asks, a smile and a wink for the beautiful woman.

With a smile on his face, Matt watches the others discuss fashion and heraldry whilst passing no comment. 'Red & Gold, Blood & Power. Interesting, I remember our old colours, how long has it been since I wore them with pride?'

He leans upon the table, his bones feeling sudden weary. "Well, I guess we shall be going? I could accompany you to near the meeting with Tristen, if that's alright, and then we split? Or we could wait there from now."

Looking up through thick honey eyelashes; "I am afraid I my fashion sense has been eroded by the harsh desert winds." said with a laconic wink. He pushes himself off the table as they leave the room.

Matt leaves the Standing Ogre with his fellows enjoying the Taldorian weather. The cool sea breeze making it way through the streets; picking up the smells of the inhabitants as it goes. His pace steady he looks to the others as he makes his way towards the rendezvous.
