Forgot to mention your Moves, Sinathel:

Disperse into a sea of vines that can independently entangle a wide area and grapple multiple foes, or form a protective barrier like Groot did.

Coalesce into full humanoid form (sort of an ancillary move to Disperse)

Smash, pretty basic, bring one of your huge plant-limbs down on an area, dealing your class damage with the forceful tag.

damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6= 5 total

A piece of glass falls down Olivius' back and cuts him good, but he doesn't have time to pay attention to that now. A dagger appears in his right hand and he sends it spinning at the fleeting guard.

Called shot, head: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 4) + 3 = 8

The handle impacts his head, knocking him stupid for a few moments. Olivius then draws his Spirit Dagger and another knife appears in his off hand.
Grand entrances aren't my usual style, I agree. he says with a smile. But it was fun.

On a 10+, you deal your damage to the enemy and avoid their attack. At your option, you may choose to do +1d6 damage but expose yourself to the enemy’s attack. Armor is DR. If they do 4 damage you'll take 4 - 3 = 1

Unless it is stated to Ignore Armor or is piercing (lowers armor by a set amount on an attack) then you apply armor.

@Frogfoot: Was Sinathel hit? or was that just Eldar that was hit?

Sinathel, you weren't hit. When you rolled badly on Shapeshift your only penalty was not having very much Hold to accomplish much.

As the guard glares at Bolus contemptuously, Eldar shakes off the impact of the stun bolt and slides behind the man. With a powerful overhead chop, the strange elf warrior's weapon bites into the man's shoulders. Vrrrm, and the guard's personal force field, formerly invisible, shields him from the worst of his harm. Even with that protection, the guard is rocked to one knee by the blow.

"Urgh!" he grunts as he rolls with the momentum, letting it carry him a few feet from you. "Sound the alarm!" he cries, lifting his head to the other guards, but one is fleeing in terror and the other one is knocked stupid by a dagger thrown from the shadows. He tries to struggle to his feet to lift his gun and shoot at you. "You're gonna...die today!" he cries, switching a setting on his gun. The gun whines as its settings drive it to a higher intensity, and he fires off a quick shot before you can reach him, Bolus! The shot, fired on the "Kill" setting, is fired at the one who hit him, Eldar! What do you both do?

Meanwhile, Professor Hardworthy is running at Yala and Olivius. "Come on! The fear spell on that first guard Dambreth sent running won't last long after he spells another person! He'll be back soon! We need to go!" He's gesturing wildly at his skyskipper.

Bolus, roll Defy Danger Strength to tackle the guard. Eldar, roll Defy Danger Constitution to try and let your armor shrug off the shot, which is what you seem to be trying to do. We'll only need to use that roll if Bolus is unsuccessful at stopping the shot.

Dambreth sprints towards the skyskipper pausing just long enough to grab the stun gun from the knocked stupid guard. He yells Come on Sinathel, it's time to go.

The guard gives up, holding his hands up. He doesn't say anything or move in response to being defeated. "Good job Bolus, now let's get out of here! Eldar, cmon!" you hear Yala shouting over the sound of the skyskipper engines powering up.

"You got it!" the professor punches it, and the skyskipper takes to the air. It wobbles a bit at first - Hardworthy is nowhere near the pilot that Moody is - but he gets you out of the garage. Down below on the ground, you can see that the guard that Dambreth first frightened is yelling into a communicator device of some sort.

Once you join the general sky-lanes of the other skippers in Terminus, however, you start to feel a little safer; Hardworthy's bad piloting notwithstanding.

This is the first time many of you are looking directly down at Terminus City from above. Yala's eyes are wide as saucers as she looks down below. "So...many..." you can hear her murmur, breathlessly. Your 'skipper navigates between skyscrapers and around monuments and buildings, flying in and out of traffic as the Professor navigates to the commercial district.

Now, regarding shopping, I don't have a list of Dungeon World items that would fit this setting, since it's a little beyond normal Dungeon World scopes. Here is the SRD showing the list of equipment and prices; I'll be using that as a reference for general ideas of how much things should cost. I also have a fun idea - each of you can grab a special item from "Hardworthy's lab" before you go. Go here and click to randomize a cypher for yourself. Be honest and keep the first one you get, for free (I know I haven't been giving out huge amounts of gold this game haha). You can reroll if the cypher has no effect, I know there are some duds in there.

As soon as they land Olivius is out of the skipper. Here isn't as white as he was on the last ride, but flying did not have a good first impression on him.

He asks Sinathel for the lodestone and motions for Yala to accompany him. We'll just be a bit. Keep your heads down.
He sets off without further explanation.

The place he is looking for is found easily enough. As he has learned, people rarely change. A heavily guarded but otherwise innocuous door is the enduring sign of someone Wii would rather not be bothered. A quick glance around and the lifeblood of the criminal underbelly is spotted: Rumormongers and gossips.

Time to go to work.

Coin of Remembering; 0 weight

What appears, at a glance, to be a simple copper coin is, in truth, an enchanted coin. Its bearer can, at any time, redeem it to know immediately one fact that has been forgotten. The coin vanishes thereafter. It does not have to be a thing forgotten by the bearer, but it cannot be “known.” Interpretation of this stipulation is left to the gods. If the coin is unsuccessful, it will still paint an image in the mind’s eye of someone or something that does remember what was sought.

Elf Cleric Lvl 3 XP 3 Armor 0 HP 14/18

Dambreth hides his stun gun in his tunic before exiting the strange conveyance. He stays close to Sinathel after Olivius departs as he does not know Bolus and Eldar is 'difficult' to be close to. His only purchase he hopes to make is a staff...looking around he realizes that it may be easier to get a metal walking stick that is basically the same size and weight as the wooden staffs he would have been familiar with.

Yala and Olivius disappear into the busy marketplace, Yala keeping watch while Olivius does his work. Feeling pressed for time due to the looming danger of the mission ahead, you speed your search and grab the first opportunity that comes your way.

The buyer you find for both the lodestone and the coin of remembering is an old half-orc crone, flanked by hobgoblin bodyguards. She's a fence; she buys stolen goods in Terminus. You can tell immediately that she's a crafty one, but her bodyguards look tough, so you take what you can get from her.

For both the lodestone and the ancient artifacts, she offers you a trade.

CHOOSE ONE

Amulet of Maru Kari: Allows you to transform into a 2' high ball that has Spider Climb. You cannot take any actions other than movement while in Morph Ball form.

Impglass: Can summon/dismiss a tiny Imp that can carry 10 pounds, fly, emit light like a torch, and goes where you command it to. It can also be used to make the Aid Another move on yourself, at a +2 modifier; doing this will cause the Imp to become sulky and rebellious for the rest of the day, providing no further aid until a rest.

A single Phoenix Down feather, can be used on someone who is making a Last Breath roll to make them automatically succeed.

You find a seller of an enchanted coin - a Memories Shop, offering the enchanted coins for 10 gold each.

You then search the marketplace for a leatherworker who can craft something with drakescale. He says he'll modify your current armor in exchange for knowledge from you on how to craft Bloodweed poison, so that he can use it to murder his best friend, who has been sleeping with his wife.

All the weapons and armour that Bolus has habitually used has been standard issue Guardian gear and so he is completely unused to the idea of acquiring equipment for himself especially from a market of all places. He looks around for something to increase his durability. More Health! Some sort of +n armour item

I don't suppose you can find grenades in some stall around here he mutters.

Bolus: How about a personnel-sized emergency force field, like the one guard had back in the garage?

Emergency ForceField Generator, 1 weight, 15 coins:
Passively reinforces your armor, even in vulnerable spots - your armor can never be reduced below 1. Additionally, a health threshold may be set by the user; below this threshold, the emergency systems will engage, granting a temporary +3 armor to the attack that triggered it, as well as +3 armor for 5 more minutes. After the 5 minutes is up, the passive effect will be overloaded until the generator can rest for 8 hours.

Olivius conciders his trade with the old woman, then his position in that trade. It isn't exactly ideal, but he'll have to make due. In the end, he takes the Phoenix down. They had all died before, so this would probably come in really handy.

At the armorer, Olivius doesn't even flinch when the man mentions his reasons for wanting the poison. He has killed men for less, namely "standing in front of that shiny thing".
However, there was a better way to go about this.
In showing the man how to produce the toxin, Olivius secretly douses his glove with a dose of Golden Root. A brush of the hand later, the armor smith suddenly has a great change of attitude toward this shady individual he just met, and Olivius has a little heart to heart with him.
What you really want to do, friend, is make him suffer. Death is so... final. Just a few moments suffering, then it's all over. Worse, they may track it back to us. No, what you want is to ruin the man. Make him rot in prison for what he has done to you with your wife.
So, here's my idea. I craft this for you, then you take and you hide it on his belongings. This stuff is potent, and probably illegal, else you wouldn't be asking me to make it.
After you've planted it, call the guardians on him. He'll spend years in prison for possessing something with the potential to kill dozens, and me might even get a little of what he was giving your wife while he's here. So, what d'ya say?

Parley: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 5) + 1 = 12

In the market, Olivius buys many extra daggers and a fine rapier for close in work. He then stocks up on his miscellaneous gear, making sure to add in a modified bandoleer that holds all his knives at easy to reach places.

Buying,
Dueling Rapier (50g)
Ten more Knives (10g)
Adventuring Kit (20g)
Coin of Remembering (10g)
Bandoleer (1?g)
29g remaining

Bolus: You'd need to make a Charisma roll to try and find someone with the explosives. You'd have a better shot if you asked Olivius to help you - as long as you didn't mind how he found them. I won't present any difficulties for you to find each other if you decide to.

Dambreth will ask Olivius to see if he can find something that after being thrown makes a loud noise and has a bright flash that would temporarily disorient a target. Sinathel first consulted with the local People to make a request. "There is a two-legger named Temellen whose actions threaten the lives of all, People and two-leggers alike. He is a traitor to all. I ask, if you are willing, that his plans be hindered. I hope you will help protect your home, but I will not force any of you. It is your choice."

After her meeting is done, Sinathal will locate Olivius to request his aid in finding some new medical supplies and possibly something to camouflage someone. She will pick up an Adventuring Kit as well if she has the funds afterwards.

Olivius: Your Goldenroot does the trick on the poor sap. He listens to your logic, nodding faintly all the time. When he's agreed, you leave your armor with him for a short span of two hours, and come back to find that there are retaining straps on the inside of your armor that the drake-scales have been inserted into. Take +1 armor.

---------------------------------------

When you and Yala rejoin the others, you find that the cleric and the paladin are asking after the same thing - explosives, whether they be flash-bangs or actual grenades. You've seen enough of Terminus City by now to have an educated guess that the real weapons dealers aren't operating out of simple vendor's stalls. It's not easy, but you are able to dredge up a shady character who offers to sell you some information.

You and Yala - with Dambreth and Bolus nearby, but not within immediate sight - enter an alleyway behind a restaurant that is filled with strange smells and spices. The aroma makes you faintly giddy, but you stay focused.

The man wears a wide-brimmed hat that overshadows much of his face. All you can make out is the faint hint of a smile and a graying goatee beneath the shadow of his brim.

"There's a weapons shipment coming down from yonder mountains tonight, it'll have all the explosives you'll need. The vendors are independents, scavengers hauling gear taken from ruined cities miles from here. They're being brought to the Guardians for use." He smiles.

Yala speaks up. "How do you know all this?"

The man glances at her, the brim of his hat turning slightly. Then he reaches inside his shirt. Yala tenses up, but he only produces the dog tags of a Guardian. "That's how I know. Now you want the shipping route or not? I have others I can sell this information to. 25 gold and it's yours."

Eldar: I'll give you an upgrade from the Professor, since you don't have any money. Adding another tag to your weapon would be a bit much, but how does this sound?

Auto-adjusting Counterweight: This counterweight rests at the base of your sword, constantly and subtly improving its balance and follow through. When you roll 2d6 for Hack and Slash and get two 6s, you may choose to deal an additional 1d6 damage WITHOUT exposing yourself to additional danger. When you roll 2d6 for Hack and Slash and get two 1s, you may reroll 1d6.

Olivius knows this is probably the best bet he's going to get on their time crunch, but negotiations like this are more like a dance of words than anything else, and he must dance correctly now more than ever.
First, what is it's cargo? Any chance you got any specifics out of our dearly departed law man?

Sinathel: the dogs of the city promise to spread your words to all the People that will listen in Terminus.

Just wanted to make sure I understood it correctly. :)

Sinathel pays for her environmentally-friendly darkness wand and continues to look for first-aid supplies. While she prefers to use herbs and other natural means, those ways take longer than they might have available. She would give future-healing a chance.

Bolus, you can hear the conversation in the alley, and you make out the word "Guardians," and see the shady vendor take out the item to show Olivius, but don't see what it is.

In response to your question, Olivius, the vendor begins ticking off his fingers. "Grenades, 'skipper fuel, stun rods, hand cannons and some stuff just filed under "armor". That's about as specific as I know."

Sinathel, there was indeed a healing spray in the skyskipper earlier, good memory. In your search for medical supplies, you find that they are running on very short stock in every pharmacy you visit in the market beforehand. It seems that while there are many material goods in Terminus, healing for the sick is in short supply. Nonetheless, with the money on the card, you're able to pick up more of them:

Hypospray; 3 uses, 5 coins, 0 weight

When someone needs immediate healing, use this on them; heal them of 4 damage and spend a use.

(They're like future bandages; the advantage is they no longer have the slow tag that hinders normal ones.)
