Thanadros
Actually Dabbler, I forgot that Thanadros has a buckler he would have traded that in for a masterwork one...
He would have forgone the tanglefoot bag and one of the cure light wounds potions to purchase it. can I assume that I can get the disount on the buckler as well?
If I did this It would leave me at 37gp 9sp 5cp

Can you carry all that with a 10 Str?
Aylmora is not wearing leather armor anymore in favor of the wand of mage armor - that reduces her encumbrance enough to allow her to carry all of her other items as a light load (just barely!).

Sweet deal.

We can choose between rolling for hit points and just taking half+1, right?
If so, I'm just going to take 5.
Monk Level 2!
+7 hit points
1 rank in Acrobatics, 1 rank in Stealth, 2 ranks in Autohypnosis
+1 BAB
Evasion
+1 Fort, +1 Ref, +1 Will
+1 ML (from Psionic Knack)
+2 PP
3rd level feat: Mobility
Monk Level 2 Bonus Feat: Deflect Arrows
Gob Slickarm
I took Psionic Talent again, so now HP are at 30 and PP are at 30. One tough goblin. :) I chose to take the 4+Con HP, as the d6 is a rough gamble. +7 Skill ranks, +1 Fort/Ref, etc. Gob is ready to keep adventuring.
Quick question... do spent PP/HP reset at level-up, or no? If not, I'll deduct 2 PP.
Thanadros
~~LEVEL UP!~~
Thanadros's Level increases to Lv. 3!
Thanadros's Attributes Improve:
+7 hp (includes fav & con)
+1 Base Attack Bonus
+1 Reflex
+1 Will
+2 Power points
4 skill points earned!
+1 Acrobatics
+1 Autohypnosis
+1 Climb
+1 Perception
Thanadros has learned the Rapid Shot Feat!
Thanadros has learned the Distract & Prescience Offensive psionic powers!
Thanadros has learned the Assassin path Trance and Maneuver!

Out of curiosity, Dabbler, what level (roughly) can we expect to reach by the end of this campaign, and do you have plans for after the adventure path? I'm curious, from a player/metagame perspective in regard to multiclassing.
jlord
Those are the ones, jlord! It's really just for quick-reference for me, nothing else - I trust you all, don't worry!
Normally I don't use them because it jumbles up the stat block. no biggy though.
Also, just so you're aware, I'm still using the beta psionic warrior, so I don't know if the final version is different or not. or if it matters.

Wow, you are ambitious. The basic Paizo formula is about 3 levels per episode. Six episodes to an AP. My other PbP groups are running about a year in RL per episode.
Meanwhile I can't decide on a feat for Vaclav. Anyone have suggestions?

You can read the final version here, if you like:

I think Rise of the Runelords goes up to level 16ish. And I agree with your speed assessment; one installment takes about a year, although I've seen them finished in 6 months (blisteringly fast) or linger for over a year and a half (very slow).
Meanwhile I can't decide on a feat for Vaclav. Anyone have suggestions?
You can always fall back on boring old Craft Wondrous Item, but I'm sure there's a more interesting one out there.
Aylmora Mvashti
Will have Aylmora updated this evening. Taking 3rd level as Wilder.
Aylmora is updated. Didn't feel lucky, so for HP took half HD+1 plus CON plus favored class plus Psionic Body bonus for new psionic feat.
Also took ranks in Disable Device, so can now attempt to open locks and disable traps if needed.
Dabbler
I don't have any plans to go on from RotR at this stage, the end of the campaign is going to be years away, in any event. As stated, you should be 16th to 18th level by completion.
I applaud your initiative with Aylmora, the one thing this party lacks is a trapspringer. I am very impressed with the versatility of the psychic warrior so far, I have to say: Thanadros, Gornak and Albrecht are three very different kinds of fighters.

Good idea. I hadn't thought of crafting at all. Arms and armor seems more in-line with Vaclav to me. Potions could be a good fit for this party too. We seem to take damage on a broad front often.
For that reason I was also considering Selective Channel. The ability to get some healing to multiple party members in one round could be key.
With the way psionics scale with level will we get less squishy in the near future?
Hit point roll: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Edit: them's the breaks.
Edit: Dabbler, Vaclav is leveled up except feat selection. I'll wait to see what hogarth thinks and I'll tap Set too. How do you want to handle the extra spells per day? Insta-gift? pray midday for the new ones? Wait until tomorrow's regular prayer session?
hogarth

Selective Channel is a good feat; I've used it many times with one of my characters, and I've wished I had it with another of my characters.
Our characters may get less "squishy" over time; there are a number of psionic powers for boosting AC (e.g. Gornak has Force Screen and is looking to take Lesser Metamorphosis some day, Albrecht has Inertial Armor), and there's a popular power (Vigor) that gives you 5 temporary hit points per power point spent. Down the line (level 7+), there's also Hostile Empathic Transfer, which allows you to heal yourself and harm your enemy in a single action.
Dabbler
With regard to the spells, pray at midday for them; you should get time before you get seriously involved in Thistletop, it is currently around 11 am. I'll give you a metagame warning that this will likely be a protracted conflict, I advise against burning power points too quickly.

I'm looking at the prestige classes in Psionics Unleashed, is all, and considering what role I want to fill into from here onward. I'm effectively a wizard/sorcerer/witch, and have a versatile future ahead of me... so I am debating on blasting, controlling terrain/buffing allies & self, debuffing and denying actions, or a combination.
Knowing there is no plan for the game after the adventure path makes me more inclined to level-dip a few levels for flavor/versatility or take a prestige class, as I rarely get to do either.
Vaclav, as for your feat, what do you want to do better?

I'd say build the character the way you want to. The party is big enough that we don't need to worry about peaking out everyone's DPR. So stick to your concept or what seems fun.
Having said that, I'll admit I'm not doing it. Vaclav was originally intended to go archery-feat heavy, but Thanadros is amply filling that role. The party doesn't need two archer types. So I'll dabble in archery because I like it and so Thanadros and Vaclav can chat shooting after a long day killing things and taking their stuff. Meanwhile V evolves. While I realize that gearing up to fight the last war won't necessarily help win the next one, I picked Selective Channel because I've seen others use it to great effect and it looks like a quick wide-spread healing burst may be useful to this party.
Looking down the road, Dabbler, if I took Craft Arms and Armor at 5th level will there be enough downtime to get some real use out of it? I've got some skill points invested in Craft(bows). I might like to push Vaclav in that direction a little.
jlord
Sorry about that. There were two other psychic warriors in the group, So I did something to change things up a bit and differentiate myself. I have found out from playing the class that most of its abilities are melee or defensive abilities, nothing ranged, so that made things a bit difficult for the build.

Most certainly there will - there are significant breaks between the adventures, and some occur mid-adventure too. In my RL game my son has a sorcerer who has taken crafting to the nth degree (universal items, arms & armour and wands so far), and it has meant a party with six characters has WBL from largely just the standard rewards in the game.
W Canepa, I think Aylmora has the blasting angle covered - wilders are really good at it - but otherwise, do what you feel like.

I was thinking of multiclassing into witch or wizard (or sage sorcerer) and then taking the cerebremancer PrC.
W Canepa
I have no problem with that whatsoever - knock yourself out!
Awesome. I just have this idea, still formative, of Gob evolving into his own right. Right now he's mostly concerned about figuring out who he is, gaining acceptance from others, and figuring out what to do with his life. He's from goblin-stock, but doesn't see himself as a goblin. He is more intelligent than most humanoids, but is an infant, socially. Right now his abilities are an amalgam of goblin-life (stealth, trickery, and the like), book learning (his knowledge skills and tactics), and innate talent honed through study (his psion class). However, I want to find a way, in-character, to expand his concept. He lives in a world of magic, and his curiosity and intelligence will likely bring him to learn more about arcana and how to manipulate it. Whether it is an extension of his own self unlocked through studying theories (sage sorcerer), twisting his tribal goblin-magic heritage into something more refined but still spooky (witch), or going the full scholarly-route and tapping into magic in the same manner as the most powerful casters (wizard), I still haven't figured out yet.
Sorry for the text wall, just throwing out my thought process. I'll let the path he takes unfold within the story, but as a player I'm pretty set on taking cerebremancer after one of those 3 classes. Thanks for the assurance on flexibility.
Dabbler
That's cool with me - if I have learned one thing in thirty+ years of RPGs, it's that people play best that which they WANT to play, so I always prefer to give players in my games free rein to play what they want as much as I can.

There is a shrill, ululating cry from the north west, answered from north-east and south-east. Goblins pour through the points H4-I4, I11 and B10, intent on engaging the party in close combat. All player characters with higher Initiative than the goblins I assume to have a standard action saved and can act as the goblins appear, interrupting their action on their initiative.
...
We're surrounded and they are charging at us down all three paths to our clearing. Those of us with high initiative get to clobber them while they're inbound.
