Is small town Michigan as badly affected by the auto industry's woes as we hear on the news about the urban areas?Probably, Its pretty bad. Here in Mass, things aren't great. I know a lot of people looking for work, but most families are still scraping by on one income. There's foreclosure sales, but not enough to drive prices below where they were 5 years ago. So it's mostly survivable, but a huge comedown from three years ago.
What we hear from Michigan sounds much worse, but reports seem to be centered on the Detroit area. Houses selling for pennies on the dollar. Incredible unemployment. Municipal governments on the verge of bankruptcy.
Interesting times.
Yeah, Its bad. Half a million dollar homes are going for less than 100, and they still can't sell them. An unbelievable amount of foreclosure. Alot of people lately have taken to setting homes they have been forced out of on fire.

Sorry if this sounds really n00b, but I'm still pretty new to the Psionics stuff, So how do I do Psionic focus and what can I do with it? Was it in one of the pdf's we downloaded?
It takes a full round action to focus yourself. Once you're focused, there are several possible benefits:
- Some feats or class abilities give benefits if you're psionically focused. For instance, Gornak's Psionic Weapon feat gives a +1 bonus to weapon damage while he's focused.
- Some feats or class abilities give benefits if you expend your psionic focus. For instance, the Psionic Weapon feat gives a +2d6 bonus to weapon damage if you expend your focus and hit with your attack. More importantly to you, Thanadros can expend his psionic focus to increase his manifester level by one when using his Prevenom Weapon power.
- Regardless, you can always expend your psionic focus to "take 15" on a concentration check (i.e. treat it as if you rolled a "15").

You might want to sound them out on that ...

Still need me to?

Yeah, doesn't look good with any of my rl players, they're not interested in psionics. Sorry... I have one other player who missed that I asked, but I doubt he will be available. If he is interested I will let you know... keep trying the recruitment section, I'm sure that someone will want to give it a try.

Well, here comes your saviour. :p
I'd like to join this game with a Psion, though what discipline I will chose is still not decided. If you have any suggestions they would be welcome.
I'll start building the character now and we will see what we turn up with. :)
By the way, do I start at level 1 or 2?
And how do you look at the Psionic races, as I love the blue but I don't know how well one would fit with your party seeing as you are fighting goblins. :) Though maybe we could come up with some good idea together?
jlord
Adrian: Hi, my name is...
Thanadros: Goblin! Kill it like the rest!
Seriously though, welcome aboard. I'm not sure if those races were one of the ones dabbler let us choose from, but a really good intro might be needed if you are going to be goblin-like. Thanadros thinks of goblins as violent pests that need to be killed on sight, and I imagine that the town might be on a very similar thought process due to recent events so be careful. I'm still pretty new to psionics so I have no idea what discipline to choose.
Leveling up:
Gornak will "take 5" on his hit point roll. I hate rolling for character stats. :-)
Argeed! I will be doing the same. Dabbler, just noticed that the PW has d8 hit dice, and my character had d10, not sure what happened, but will fix accordingly with the level...
Thanadros
~~LEVEL UP!~~
Thanadros's Level increases to Lv. 2!
Thanadros's Attributes Improve:
+7 hp (includes fav & con)
+1 Base Attack Bonus
+1 Fortitude
+1 Power point
4 skill points earned!
+1 Acrobatics
+1 Autohypnosis
+1 climb
+1 Perception
Thanadros has learned the Psionic Shot Feat!
Thanadros has learned the Precognition, Offensive psionic power!

It's up to you, Adrian, but the blue would not be ... impossible to work in, just awkward. You can start at 2nd level, too.
What speciality you choose is up to you completely, there's not better or worse option.
Edit: in fact if you really want the blue, I'm sure I could work it in.
Gornak
I updated Gornak. I put his favored class points in power points, took Vigor as a power, and Power Attack as a feat.
Did we ever sell the loot from the goblins? I forget. I only remember getting 50 gp from Count Aldern so far.
Gornak isn't particularly prejudiced against goblins; he's a freak himself. :-)

You did have some loot from the goblins but no-one has made any particular effort to value or dispose of it. As it was largely masterwork weapons you cannot use and you have a standing discount at a certain store near here, we'll make it up shortly ...
Hogarth, you have the right of it. Always recalculate your PP each level based on class, favoured class, race and manifesting stat.

To late to edit my last post. :/
Anyway, I might be looking in the wrong place but I can't find this table. Anyone care to direct me to the right document? :)

Gutless! ;-p
But to be fair, had I rolled a one you would have suffered a long litany of whining about star-crossed fate and malign die.

Sorry about being so quiet recently, and as a heads-up I may be sporadic over the next week or so as well (Finals). But I'll try to post when I can!

It's the same table, no changes! Regarding introducing your character ...
kelvin{dot}walker{at}gmail{dot}com - please e-mail me and I will explain how your character can be worked in!

Hey Everyone!
I just wanted to apologize for being so silent. I've been totally slammed at work for the past couple of weeks and haven't been able to keep up with the game. Fortunately things should be slowing down after today, and I'll be able to focus my attention on more enjoyable pursuits. So I should have Aylmora updated to level 2 by the end of tomorrow.
Great rescue of the Barett's by the way. Nice shot Thanadros!
Aylmora Mvashti
Feeling lucky. Rolling for hit points: 1d8 ⇒ 5
Now how ironic is that!
With CON modifier that's a total of +6 hp for Aylmora at 2nd level.
Aylmora is updated. Learned Mind Thrust as new power.
