FYI, about a week before the beginning, I'll post the starting locations and ask you all for your locations and initiative rolls. I normally assume that people are okay with random turn order, but if you all would prefer to choose the turn order, that's also perfectly fine.
Note that I'll be on a work trip to Las Vegas from March 5-9, so I'll be updating a little less frequently during that first week than I will normally be doing so during the rest of the convention. I will update at least once a day during that time regardless.

You totally can! You can use a level 3 pregen.
Parody has listed all of the pregens on this site. You can choose the deck and the level using the dropdown at the top-right.

Hi everyone,
I just realized this is a Adventure Deck 3 session and I only just joined OP (so I only have lvl 1 characters), so I imagine this means I can't actually play in this session. Sorry for the confusion!
You have two options when it comes to using a pregen:
Option 1: Use the pregen as your actual character. Once you pick out a pregen you like, register it as a character so it gets its own PFS number. Then, sessions will be reported with that character and it accrues rewards as normal.
Option 2: Use the pregen but "take one for the team." Choose a pregen but do not register it. This lets you complete the scenario with the pregen, and later transfer the rewards to a different character. If you take this option, register the other character (if you haven't already) and let cartmanbeck know that character's PFS number so it can be recorded on the chronicle sheet. Then, when you get that other character up to Tier 3, you can transfer all of the rewards you've earned here onto that character. Page 9 of the PFSACG Guide has more info on this option, or feel free to ask us questions :)
When browsing that site cartmanbeck linked, make sure to change the dropdown on the very top right to be "3" instead of "1" as you'll be using a Tier 3 pregen for this.

Since I only own the warpriest deck, I'm going to go with Oloch. He should be lots of fun anyways!
I have created him as a character in my account (ID 233972-1001). I do have a question, however: since he is freshly created, he should start at Tier 1, correct? If so, I'm a bit confused by Option 1 -
Option 1: Use the pregen as your actual character. Once you pick out a pregen you like, register it as a character so it gets its own PFS number. Then, sessions will be reported with that character and it accrues rewards as normal.
Shouldn't option 1 be similar to "taking one for the team", in the sense that my character is considered to be tier 1 and will accrue the tier 3 rewards once he gets there?

So essentially, you can either treat him as a new character that can start gaining rewards right now STARTING at Tier 3 with the specific feats and deck list that's given in the pregen, but you'll end up with a relatively under-powered character because you didn't get to choose all the rewards and feats that he gains automatically (that's option 1) OR you can play him as a "proxy" for another character that you plan to use starting from Tier 1, and when that character makes it to Tier 3, you'll instantly apply the chronicle that I'll be issuing you at the end of this adventure to that character instead (this is option 2).
In your case, given that you're playing in other games starting at Tier 1, I would recommend you go with option 2, because by the time we finish with OutPost, you should have a character that's pretty close to hitting Tier 3 in one of those other games anyway, and you could play another scenario or two and apply this chronicle pretty quickly.
Does that make sense? If it's still seeming like a black box, I'm happy to have a Skype/Google Hangouts/etc. chat with you about it to see if we can get it clarified. :)

Can everyone please make a post similar to the one that JohnF did on the Gameplay thread sometime in the next few days? We also got a 6th player signed up, JenD, but I can't find them by either username or PFS#, so we'll see what happens there.
I'll soon get the locations listed for the scenario. Since each of you have played different scenarios before, swapping cards for loot will be dependent on what you have earned for your character. I'll list the loots that are available to those who have completed adventures 1 and 2 of Season of Plundered Tombs, but if your character got to Tier 3 through other means, you will not be able to make those substitutions.
I'll also be asking you which trader you want to go to. Again, I'll list the traders that you would have earned by completing adventures 1 and 2 of Plundered Tombs, but it may not apply to all of you.
Thanks!
Tyler

skizzerz - CD Feiya |

I already dotted the Gameplay thread a couple days ago (and deleted my post afterwards, so that's why you aren't seeing it -- dot plus delete still makes it show up as an active campaign on my end). My Feiya is unchanged from after I ran through Cosmic Captive with you, so she's got Season of Plundered Tombs 1 and 2 as well as Cosmic Captive under her belt (tier 3 with 4 scenarios completed). Full chronicle sheet and deck list is available on my alias profile.
Time-zone wise I'm in Mountain Time normally although I'll be in Pacific Time during the first week of the event.
If you could PM or email me a link to the deck tracking spreadsheet I should use, I can get that intro post rolling on the gameplay thread :)

Okay, I hate to drop JenD but I still haven't heard back from her, and I want to get the table all set up. If I had been able to find her profile to PM her I would have. :(
Anyway, I'll set up the locations and post them on the Gameplay thread. Each of you (if you haven't already) should then post over on that thread at which location you plan to start, as well as the trader you'd like to visit and a d1000 roll for initiative, unless you want to specify your turn order completely. I recommend that we have the three EST players go first, then go West around the map for the rest of the turn order.

Hawkmoon made a FANTASTIC post about how to do your turn, so I thought I'd just LINK IT HERE.

So, do we want to select one location to stack everything on and leave it for last? It should probably be one of the easier locations to deal with and close.

I believe you are incorrect. The boon you are thinking of allows a GM to transfer their reroll with their GM stars included.

@cartmanbeck, as we were pointing out in the gameplay threads, I messed up by not remembering that we are supposed to shuffle boons that don't get acquire back in the library during my turn. Do you want me to do some random rolls to determine if I would have found the spell and the ally that I accidentally took out of the potential choices for my last turn?

Given that I told someone at another table they could share promo cards within the table, I don't think it would be fair to deny you that one. So, yep, you can "toss" each of them your playmats. I'll verify with Tonya when I see her next and get a "final" answer for going forward, but for now, go for it!
