Hello! I saw the recruitment thread you all were apart of, and that you had been left behind. Frankly, I liked some of your character concepts, so I thought I would jump in and fill the gap. Since parts II and III are getting retired in August, we will be starting with part III.
Please check in here and finalize your characters. I will be looking over characters this week and starting after that.

Interessssting...
Just completed Rescue at Azlant Ridge part 1 this weekend. (That is a hard one for new PC's.) So I have some cash to buy some MW armor if we have time to buy stuff. I will also change the rather ineffectual spells I had picked.

Selter, you can purchase gear at the end of the last sesstion, or the begining of this one. I don't know what you are aiming for as far as Armor goes, but if you recieved 2 PP from the last session, then you could spend that on a Mwk Dragonhide Breastplate. It's something to consider.
Also, and this goes for everyone, while you are in this PBP you cannot have you character sit at an in-person table. Your character is bound to this adventure until we are done. If this is your only character and you want to also play locally, make a second character. :)

Hmm... For some reason I thought it was too much to buy with prestige points. Well my first 2 are still already spent on the CLW wand. Yes, I think I will plan on the next 2 going for a MWK dragon hide breast plate. So I won't buy armor at this time. I will probably get a mwk darkwood shield instead. But still thinking about that.
Yes, I have a couple other characters to use for in-person games.

Hey! Thanks for the invite. Count me in.
I had just finished writing up my PC when it was eaten by the boards (serves me right for not drafting it in word first).
However, it looks like a sorcerer might not be the best fit for the rest of the group. I'll adapt my concept and get them up in the next 24 hours. Then, I'll be good to go.

GM Brute Squad: since Sithiss (constrictor snake animal companion) does not speak, I had not intended to create an alias for it. If you would rather I do so, just let me know.
I am a melee build. Since I can't yet shape change I'm not as good at it as a martial class. But with my snake, we can hold our own. The only significant skills I have so far are handle animal, knowledge nature, and perception.
Looks like Marla's edilon is intended to be melee combatant with some support casting from her. I haven't tried the class yet, but they look like fun.
Sierra has a nice paladin archer build. After a few levels, I've seen those devastate combats.
Tortella looks to be going for caster with back-up melee. That correct? If so be careful. You're fairly squishy at low level. You going to go Dragon Disciple?
Don't know what Daniel is bringing.
We may have difficulty with any traps or locks and just have to brute force them.
Everyone but me seems to have a high cha, so hopefully that will handle most of the inter-personal skill checks at this level.

Well, we are probably a bit gear lite on what is expected. Since this is part 3 and the scenario expects you to have already done 1 and 2. It looks like for everyone but me, this is the first mission for the PC and it is only my second. So we will have to play smarter.
But we have 2 pets, that should help even things out. Also (completely meta-gaming), this was intended to be a training tool so hopefully shouldn't be as rough as many scenarios.
I do have a wand of CLW but really don't want to burn the whole thing up right away. I have a potion of CLW. So if I go unconscious, please pour it down my throat. =)
Unfortunately we may have to disarm traps the hard way. =(
I actually haven't done the first steps before since everyone at my local has done them until they are sick of them.

The way I run combat is that you can post in any order, but I will resolve the actions in initiative order. It seems to make combat run faster. If you need to change your action because someone earlier in the order messed up what you were planning to do, that's ok.

I'm ready to go but, as I'm last and will very likely have to amend my action if I announce it now, I was waiting. I wasn't expecting to wait this long however...
I'm still here and keen to go. I plan to inch my way forward to hit whatever is still standing when I get there.

The updates don't always appear for me actually. Usually but not always. The website was a bit slow for a few days. Maybe something jiggered it.
Rules question - the entangled condition means you move at half speed (plus the difficult terrain effectively makes it quarter speed) unless the entangling object is securely tethered, in which case you're immobile. Are you treating this entangle as being securely tethered? I've seen in interpreted either way.

Doesn't look like anyone else has anything else to add.
I would suggest just wrapping it up unless there is some reason we need to go through the return to Absalom.
Would you prefer to email the chronicle sheets or post them for us to download (like google docs or something).
