No worries! In that case, my full action is to flee, and I will continue to do so until combat is over, unless something significantly changes.
Sure thing. Remember to reclaim that level 3 spell slot though.
Tytus: Maw is invisible right now, but it was bloodied the last time you saw it.

GM Netherpongo |

Ansha, Infernal Healing is a 1 round cast spell and using a wand doesn't change that. So it wouldn't go off this turn and it wouldn't start fast healing you until the turn after that. That spell is really, really slow. Do you want to do something else?

![]() |

Yeah, hadn't realized that. Will double-move instead.

GM Netherpongo |

Obsidean's attack strikes upward at Worm, but fails to penetrate the creature's thick hide. Tytus strikes at Maw and lands another heavy blow despite the creature's invisibility.
Tytus Attack Maw 1-50=Miss: 1d100 ⇒ 94
Ansha & Gaius flee from Karina Deckland toward their allies, though their progress is slowed by the panicked and fleeing crowd.
Archibald strikes at Mantis, striking swiftly at the creature twice, though his blows are blunted substantially by the creature's unnatural resistance. It looks like you auto-succeed on a DC 15 Fly check to hover.
Hiram, I think you still have a standard action if you want to use it. We also needed a Fortitude save vs poison from last round.

Karina Deckland flies to the corner of the wall and points at Ansha while summoning up arcane power. A second Acid Arrow flies from her hand and strikes Ansha in the chest, despite the cover granted by the crowd. Ansha takes 5 acid damage.
Maw reappears in a flash of fury, striking out at Obsidean with all of its weapons. The claws scrape at Obsidean ineffectually, but the stinger lances into him powerfully, breaking through his protective barrier. The sting does 18 damage before damage reduction. Make a Fortitude Save vs poison. Drained of its magical power, Maw is unable to turn invisible after its attacks.
I just realized another mistake. Tytus is invisible and I hit him twice with Maw, who can't see invisibility. I just rolled the miss chances and there was a 7 damage hit and a 6 damage hit that both missed, so Tytus can regain 13 HP I believe. This combat is complex...
Worm attacks Hiram savagely, but the bard is able to avoid most of the attacks. Claw hit for 9 damage. Mantis attacks Archibald for similar results. Claw hit for 9 damage.
Karina is the only invisible target this turn.

Karina Will vs Glitterdust: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Karina is no longer invisible, but she can still clearly see you.

GM Netherpongo |

Are you still planning to double move away, Gaius? Even if your action isn't going to change, we could still use posts from you. I don't want to be the one deciding which way you flee, for instance.
Ansha, I thought you were still out in the hallway on your last turn. Getting to where you are now is a lot more than a 5' step.

![]() |

No, Ansha made it into the inner 'hallway' last turn, which kind of made me wonder how Karina even had line of sight/line of effect with an intervening wall in the way.

GM Netherpongo |

Ansha: That's weird. I'm sure that I remember your position from your last post. Something must have happened. Let's go with everything as it is now though.
The map had gotten weird, so I moved everything around just a touch to get everyone in real squares.
Obsidean's blast shreds Maw and Worm, destroying Maw though its essence seems only to fade away. Maw was a summoned creature but it's gone now. Tytus, what do you want to do for your turn?
Hiram, Worm is 10' off the ground. Are you able to reach it from there?
Archibald's attacks slice into Mantis, shredding some of its carapace. Its wounds close quickly, however, blunting the damage somewhat.
Gaius's spell settles into Karina Deckland, robbing her of sight once more. Lucky. She failed by 1. Meanwhile, Ansha's skin burns with the acid still covering her. Ansha takes 5 acid damage.

Hiram and Tytus turn!

"Someone might want to kill that glittered-up flying witch soon! Or heal me--preferably both!" Ansha calls.

GM Netherpongo |

I haven't delved into the rulebooks yet to make sure, but in the interest of time I'll allow it. What hand are you using for this, though? Is this draw whip (move) and Reposition (standard)? That works either if you drop your rapier or if you whip with your shield arm, although the shield arm option would mean you lose the AC from the buckler this turn.

GM Netherpongo |

The devil strikes expertly at Hiram with one of its claws as he uses his whip, fouling the attack. Hiram takes 6 damage. This is the opportunity attack triggered by combat maneuvers. The damage dealt reduced his CMB attack and the reposition failed. Without the buckler and with Haste, your current AC is 28 I think?

"Fight me, Pathfinders! I will not be denied my revenge!" Karina screams above the din of the combat as she begins laying about the escaping crowd with her rapier. Her attacks are sightless, but the Taldan nobles are packed closely together and her attacks cannot fail to hit a target. A noblewoman is pierced through the neck by Karina's attack and goes down in a heap of blood before she is trampled to death by the other nobles.
Worm attempts to take advantage of the lapse in Hiram's defenses, but none of its attacks manage to hit the Pathfinder. Mantis similarly fails to get past the guard of Glorymane as the shield roars a challenge at the infernal foe.

Hiram: Did you move your mini? Remember that there's difficult terrain all over the area you are wanting to move still. Lucky for him, the crowd grants Hiram cover in the second square of his move and allows him to get away cleanly.

Mantis is invisible. Also, Haste is gone now if I've done my math correctly...I think it was actually gone a turn ago. If someone wants to double-check my math on this, the lack of Haste dodge was the reason the second hit landed on Archibald.
Party turn! Round 9 start!

I would like to point out that Archibald has the entire Step Up chain of feats and Disruptive/Spellbreaker in case it mattered
Satisfied that the Devil is running away, Archibald makes a break for Karina.
He flies to directly above her head and makes a strike, defensivelu guarding himself from her spell-strike.

I hadn't been paying attention to those feats, Archibald. My understanding is that swift action spellcasting doesn't provoke by definition, so he'd be fine in this case regardless.

Karina is dead, so Hiram and Ansha can reconsider their turns if they wish. I also forgot to deal acid damage to Ansha last turn, so she takes 5 acid damage now.
