Hiram coughs as the poison takes hold! Fort: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 - 1 = 19
His eyes widen as the halflings swarm! As a move action, he begins to speak of the glory of the Armies of Exploration, INSPIRE COURAGE +2! As a second move action, he moves toward the halfling menacing Gaius!
GM Netherpongo
I made a few errors in the post above and corrected them. I had Tytus's name where Gaius's should have been.
Gaius & Hiram: this is a surprise round, and you need a Perception 31 to act.
Friendly GM Note: Gaius is in a lot more trouble than I realized when I first started having the halflings act. If you can do something on your surprise round, he needs some help.

Well, yes, that is what happens when the level 7 among a party of high levels gets shanked :-P
I elect to *not* roll a Perception check; hopefully, they will murder me before I get a chance to act...

"Finally we get to kill you," one of the halflings growls as he spits at Ionnia. "I couldn't stand another word out of your mouth anyway."
Yeah, sorry about that Gaius... Archibald hasn't rolled Perception yet, but if I'm reading his character sheet right he can't make the roll. So....

Crit confirmation vs Archibald: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
The murderous halflings continue their assault while a human carrying a threatening-looking syringe steps up to Obsidean.
Archibald takes 47 damage in two swings plus 3 damage that I forgot last turn for a total of 50. I got lucky on Gaius and did 22 damage in one swing plus 3 more damage that I missed last round, which takes him out but doesn't kill him outright (lucky! no iterative!). That halfling uses the rest of his turn to flank Archibald. Obsidean is struck with a touch attack using the syringe. He takes no damage (DR didn't apply, just literally zero damage) but takes a -2 penalty to Will saves & needs to save vs Paralysis (DC 19). I need two more Fort saves from Archibald (one from the cookie poison and one from the poisoned blade he got hit with just now). Gaius, your poisons are on delay, but let's get the first Fort save for the blade you were hit with on the surprise round.
Party turn!
Review:
Archibald: 26 damage during the surprise round & 47 damage this turn. Two Fort Saves needed.
Gaius: 25 damage during the surprise round & 22 damage this turn. One Fort Save needed.
Obsidean: -2 Will Saves for 5 minutes & save vs Paralysis (DC 19)

Obsidian moves next to the halfling. Then thrusts his hand toward the halfling palm outstretched. Though his hand does not reach the halfling, a great force thrusts the halfling away from Obsidian. He then faces Archibald and says, "Behind me!"
Magnetism(Bull Rush): 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (20) + 19 = 39
I will prioritize targeting metal armor first, then a metal weapon.
Edit: Realized I could just roll a fort in case it is fort.

fort: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Archibald begins to slide out of harms way, he withdraws from his position to try and recover.
GM Netherpongo
That was a Will save Obsidean. Sorry I didn't mention which type. (It was obvious to me...) Go ahead and roll the save as Will. The halflings are swinging metal longswords around, so Magnetism would work fine on those. Their armor is studded leather.
Archibald: That would put your flat-footed AC to 28, right? All three attacks hit that number. Also the total damage is only 73.
I didn't specify the save type for Obisdean and he guessed wrong (my fault) so his slide thing might not happen. If it doesn't, you can't withdraw from that flank without taking an opportunity attack. I'm making a lot of mistakes in this combat.
Tytus: as of this writing, the halflings are on either side of Archibald. I did forget to put a mini up for the human. I'll fix that now. You wouldn't be within a 5' step of a halfling whether or not the Magnetism bull rush happens.
Lots of mistakes and edits. Sorry. I've put everyone's minis back to where they were when this round started since the first move Obsidean made might not happen and that might affect everything else. I put arrows pointing at where the halflings are in case Tytus still can't see them.
GM Netherpongo
At the moment, the halflings are both 30' away. The push only got them to 20' away, and I'm not sure it is happening now.

OK, Obsidean made his Will save and so a lot of the rest of this gets easier. Archibald can withdraw if he wants to and the halfling is moved. I'll change the map.
Tytus, I moved your character back two squares so you could hit the moved halfling. (Obsidean's original post was first & so that happened first).

The halflings move to flank Obsidean and both stab him. Meanwhile the human enemy moves past Hiram while stabbing out at him with his syringe.
Hiram: You are hit by the touch attack & take a -2 penalty to Will for the next 5 minutes. Make a Will Save (DC 19) versus Paralysis. The human used Spring Attack to continue moving.
Obsidean: You are hit twice for 17 & for 25. Both attacks bypassed your Sneak Attack resistance. The blades aren't poisoned anymore, however. You can apply your DR to both attacks.
Tytus: You get an opportunity attack vs the halfling you hit earlier. He tried to tumble out, but failed.

Also, I've been forgetting someone...

I'd forgotten about your sneak attack resistance on the most recent round, Obsidean. The first hit only did 12 damage without that, so 12 damage & 17 were the right numbers for the last round.
Obsidean's attack blasts the halfling attacking him to little pieces while Hiram stabs the human enough that he manages to stop laughing. The remaining halfling is struck by Tytus's attack and stares at you all grimly. Tytus, Obsidean went first and took out the halfling that you were swinging at, so I moved you to attack the second one instead.
The halfling stabs at Obsidean with his longsword twice more, trying to maintain a defensive posture as he fights now and manages to draw another shallow cut across Obsidean's tough hide. One hit on Obsidean for 12 damage before DR.

After the party recovers (or doesn't wait for that) Ionnia leads you a well-furnished room in the back of the mansion. Bookshelves line the wall of this square chamber. A fireplace along the far western wall looks well used but presently lies cold.
