With everyone in agreement, Zeb leads the way to meet up with Syndra, trying to avoid major streets where the guards would be more likely to recognize him and his companions.
You make your way to Wakanga, and he greets you "Hello my friends, I assume you are here to see Syndra?"
Yes! We are eager to do something quickly to help put this land to right!
Nathaniel politely greets Wakanga, this being the first time really meeting him. "I'm pleased to make your acquaintance sir. Please excuse our impatience, but we do believe time is of the essence right now if we are to help Syndra."
"Well than come on in, and a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well" and he holds out a hand to Nathan, with the other hand gesturing for you to follow him inside
Zeb distractedly greets the man and enters the house, ready to speak with Syndra.
Wakanga leads him to the spa, where you see syndra, and now that she is not covered in many layers of wrapping you see sores and rotten flesh, and get the feeling a putrid smell would accompany if not for the scented candles being burnt
Zeb steps forward to the afflicted woman in the spa, inwardly feeling compassion for her but giving to sign of it to save her dignity. He states
Syndra, you have brought us here. How may we help cure this land of its curse?
"In the jungle, I know not where, but somewhere in the jungle there is a city lost to time called Omu. Inside somewhere should be a tomb, and in there is the soul monger. The jungle is dangerous and many dangers, both physical and diseases, and rations are also a problem, so i would recommend stocking up on rations, water, bug spray, and people who can help you with navigation. I gave you money, and I'm sure there are other benefactors who would give you money, we gave you all we could."
"I'm sorry to see you in such a state" Nathaniel says to Syndra.
"Be assured we will do our best to find the Soulmonger and end this curse. We appreciate the seed money you have given us, and the list of things to focus on will surely be helpful. Do you perhaps know which merchants might offer these goods, allowing us to buy them without a lengthy search of Port Nyanzaru for the best deals? Are there any guides you or Wakanga could recommend to us?
"Well I'm not sure any new guides, but I'm sure wakanga would show you to the merchants that you need"
Zeb nods gratefully.
Let us follow, then, and visit these merchants.
"So what are you looking for first
Most of what I desire would be found at a general goods store or blacksmith. I'm looking for some rope, caltrops, lanterns, etc.
Zeb also turns to his companions to confer in a lower tone:
Since Syndra does not know where we should go first, I believe we should make ourselves useful in this land while learning what we can. Let us escort Undril through the jungle and gather information as we go.
"Well let's go to the goldenthrone, and I'll bring you to a blacksmith"
Nathaniel nods in agreement with Zeb.
"I agree. If we have no idea where to start, than any direction seems as good as another. Maybe someone in Camp Vengeance will have some idea where the city is, plus we'll have made an ally in Undril."
Turning back to Syndra, he says "I think we need to start with the basic jungle supplies. We all know how to survive in the temperate lands we come from, but aside from Ambooku none of us know what it is like to live in the jungle. So finding a guide who can assist, and a list of jungle supplies such as the bug spray you suggested, would be my first priority."
Indeed. Let us go.
Ok, on the way to goldenthrone Wakanga meets a friend of his and stops to discuss with them, at which point you are distracted by the man asking for the distraction thing
