I also have disadvantage from my scale mail, cancelled by the advantage.

Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Nathaniel gets mobbed by the onrushing crowd, and makes quite a scene as he tries to get over to the alley, likely drawing the attention of the chasing guards.

Why is the 8 foot grey skinned giant kin not blending in.

I'm really not sure, It's a mystery to me

Male Human (variant) Barbarian level-1

Just act like you're an iguanadon being used to transport clothes and textiles ;)

Waiting on Seraphiel

50 gold should buy quite a road block.

Ya, is it worth death tho?

I don't follow the guards are chasing us whether we dropped money or not. I was just playfully pointing out that I rped my character's lack of economic experience/rage at economics to the tune of 50 gold. If most pesants see a few silvers a week thats a big incentive thus a big road block. Its up to you if it would influence the roll or the DC.

Orym keeps running.

Y'all will have advantage on stealth checks all the way through.

Ok, Serapheils stealth is Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Advantage: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

You as a group are able to remain stealthy in a crowd of people, until the guards take out their swords and slash at the civvies, who scatter FAST, what do you guys wish to do (Crowd is just beginning to disperse)

Male Firbolg NG Ranger 1 AC 14 HP 7/12 Passive Perception 15 Init +2 Proficency Bonus + 2 Current Picture of Orym

Orym moves swiftly and when the time to gather with the coast clear he says, "It is time we get back on task."

Roll stealth, as the people are coming after you

Executioner's run:
Sorry Amookbu, did not realize i had not posted. The man has ran 30 feet, it looks like he has a broken leg or something, they will attack you aagin, the first attack is a natural 20 14 peircing halved to 7, and than second attack is 22 6 slashing halved to three, your turn

Male Firbolg NG Ranger 1 AC 14 HP 7/12 Passive Perception 15 Init +2 Proficency Bonus + 2 Current Picture of Orym

"They still seek us we must keep moving."

stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
stealth favored enemy assuming humanoid: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

You have advantage anyway because of the crowd

M Human (Variant) Paladin (Oath of the Ancients)

Zeb tries to stealthily follow after Orym

Stealth: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6

but is a little clumsy.

Male Aasimar Warlock (Hexblade) 1, AC 18, HP 11/11, Passive Perception 14, Init +2

Nathaniel also tries to continue down the alley without drawing any more attention from the guards, but luck just isn't on his side.

Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Wow its like I am hidden because I am holding you guys up as a shield.

Did you guys roll with advantage

M Human (Variant) Paladin (Oath of the Ancients)

Nathaniel and I have disadvantage from our armor so that cancels out the advantage to a neutral roll...

Male Aasimar Warlock (Hexblade) 1, AC 18, HP 11/11, Passive Perception 14, Init +2

Otherwise I can only imagine how awesome we'd be doing. Team Stealth, onward!

Male Human (variant) Barbarian level-1

At the Executioner's Run:
Not enough HP left for grappling or disengaging to make a difference, so: Even though he's been viciously torn into by the velociraptor, it seems to Ambooku that at this point, offense is the only defense. Crouching down low, he times his next strike to when he anticipates the beasts head will dart forward for a bite. Leaping upward, he attempts to deliver an uppercut strike with his massive hunk of wood...

Great Maul: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 172d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 2) + 5 = 11

...and succeeds in delivering a solid blow. While the velociraptor reels from the blow, he screams animalistically in its face.

Executioner's Run:
You knock him down

Male Human (variant) Barbarian level-1

Executioner's Run:
Still raging, Ambooku smashes the downed velociraptor one more time with his great maul before proceeding to hack it's head off with a few whacks of one of his hatchets, just to be sure. With the decapitation complete, he finally calms down and comes out of his range. Covered in blood, both his and the velociraptors', he retrieves his javelin and drags the velociraptor's body towards the exit. As he passes the hobbling, injured victim he drops the head at his feet and says to him in Omuan "No need to rush anymore." before continuing on and trudging out of the mud run with the carcass.

Executioner's Run:
The people just look, confused and slowly begin to clap, roll a sleight of hand real quick

Male Human (variant) Barbarian level-1

Executioner's Run:
Sleight of hand?
Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Executioner's Run:
You sense a projectile heading towards your head, and you catch it, and find a pouch as you see the men and a female who looks like the two men and guess by the grateful look that they were the people who threw it.

Male Human (variant) Barbarian level-1

Executioner's Run:

If the pouch contains just coins, he gives a slightly disgusted look at it and tosses it to the injured man in the mud and proceeds onward. If it is something else then he will keep it for sentimental value.

Ambooku will, if nothing stops him, drag himself with the carcass back to Wakanga's compound, take a short rest (recover some HD) then find a reasonable place to butcher the carcass and start a fire to cook it.

Ambooku:
Ok, he looks at you and says thanks to you. You also gain 100 EXP. Wakanga's servant give you a weird look but just let you be.

Ok at this point I feel it is safe to assume that seraphiel is done, so we will say he surrenders himself to the guards and allows you guys to escape without the law on your tail, free from legal consequence, the merchant included, as the executioner's run is kind of crippled for the moment, Seraphiel also giving the 50 gold to whoever threw theirs

As you walk through the streets (The man having lett you) You are approached by a female halforc with a holy symbol of torm, who greets you saying "I'm glad i found you, you all were the ones planning on making an expedition into the jungles correct?"

Male Aasimar Warlock (Hexblade) 1, AC 18, HP 11/11, Passive Perception 14, Init +2

Nathaniel looks her over, curious as to how the group would have come to anyone's attention so soon. "I doubt we are the only ones planning on a jungle expedition from what I have seen in Port Nyanzaru so far, but yes, we are going to head out and test our luck" he cautiously hedges.

My name is Undril Silvertusk bye the bye. You were the first group i was able to find, i saw the ruckus in the goldenthrone district and asked around. I need to go to Camp Vengeance, and would greatly appreciate it if you would allow me to travel with you
And ambooku is with you at this point

M Human (Variant) Paladin (Oath of the Ancients)

Zeb looks around at his companions, ensuring the rest our safe but pained at Seraphiel's sacrifice in this brutal land. He looks to his companions for confirmation as he speaks

I believe you could accompany us. What is the nature of your business?

Male Aasimar Warlock (Hexblade) 1, AC 18, HP 11/11, Passive Perception 14, Init +2

Nathaniel waits to hear what Undril's response to Zeb is.

"To help the sick and injured at camp vengeance"

M Human (Variant) Paladin (Oath of the Ancients)

Zeb nods in appreciation and heaves a sigh.

That seems to be a rare, fine cause in this deadly and treacherous land. Those with such causes do not seem to last long here.

He looks back over his shoulder, missing Seraphiel.

I, for one, welcome you to travel with us.

Male Aasimar Warlock (Hexblade) 1, AC 18, HP 11/11, Passive Perception 14, Init +2

"Do you mean the Death Curse? Are you going out there because you can help them with that?" Nathaniel asks her. "We can help you get to Camp Vengeance if we head out that way, but at this point we honestly don't know which direction we should even be heading." Nathaniel looks at the rest of the group and says "Don't forget, we are here for a reason, and our time is limited. We need to find some information out before we go wandering into the jungle. What do the rest of you think?"

"Ha, if the death curse was the only thing we had to worry about in the jungle than it might very well have been ended already. Just general diseases and injuries."

And Ambooku you are with the group if u did not see

Male Firbolg NG Ranger 1 AC 14 HP 7/12 Passive Perception 15 Init +2 Proficency Bonus + 2 Current Picture of Orym

Orym looks around, "Our business is pressing lass. If these others sworn to me cause allow it you are welcome to come with us but if our journey takes us elsewhere we may be pressed to follow."

Male Aasimar Warlock (Hexblade) 1, AC 18, HP 11/11, Passive Perception 14, Init +2

How do we want to approach this guys? Obviously we are supposed to be finding the cause of the Death Curse, the Soulmonger. However we have no idea where it is, and so far have found no clues leading us towards that. We also don't really have an idea how much time we have to work with. If we are trying to save Syndra how long can we mess around in the jungle possibly getting no closer to our goal? On the other hand we could always use friends and allies, so helping out Undril sounds like a good idea if we can do it. I am unsure what kind of balance we can/should strike here. Any thoughts?

Male Firbolg NG Ranger 1 AC 14 HP 7/12 Passive Perception 15 Init +2 Proficency Bonus + 2 Current Picture of Orym

Hmm thought when we woke we were going to gather with our employer. We were to get a guide and more info. We helped a guy and now another person is asking for help.

Not immediate help, as you are in the jungle. I basically had you guys roll for "subquests", and these things could help you. Basically, you guys are approached by her, a guy offering to pay for the charter of exploration and two twins as guides, and then a priestess of savras who offered to add her help and an additional 100 GP to the expedition funds if you pass by that way with her.

M Human (Variant) Paladin (Oath of the Ancients)

I'm fine with subquests or focusing on the main quest, either way.

Oh I forgot the thing you would have to do for the guy, you would have to create a distraction at fort Beluarian

M Human (Variant) Paladin (Oath of the Ancients)

Given the number of different subquests, perhaps we should head to the main quest-giver's place and pursue that. We need a little combat and success under our belts to get our mojo back.

Zeb turns to his companions

I believe we should return to Syndra and begin what we can to serve her.

He turns back Undril.

You may accompany us should our path take us in a direction such that we may help you.

Male Aasimar Warlock (Hexblade) 1, AC 18, HP 11/11, Passive Perception 14, Init +2

I agree, we should talk to Syndra again first.

Nathaniel nods in agreement with Zeb. "Agreed. We need to talk to Syndra before we decide on anything else." Then addressing Undril "If you'd like to accompany us, or if you can wait and give us somewhere to contact you, we'd be happy to help you get to Camp Vengeance. It may be a bit before we head there though, since we have yet to figure out which direction we need to go."

Male Firbolg NG Ranger 1 AC 14 HP 7/12 Passive Perception 15 Init +2 Proficency Bonus + 2 Current Picture of Orym

Orym nods to Zeb in agreement.

"That sounds reasonable, I'll accopmany you if it's OK"
