Ambooku
Ambooku does not bring up any additional topics at the dinner and allowing the others to sort out the formalities. At the mention of a lack of honesty at the races (assuming he overhears it) he gives a sound of disgust, not directed at anyone but at the concept.

Orym greets each as they come together, "Top o' the morning lads."

[I assume you wanted us all to do this, or just those at Wakanga's?]
Upon waking in the morning Nathaniel seeks out Zeb and says "Well, shall we find our adventuring companions then?"
Perception/Insight both the same: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

Ok so for options we have a 2,3,4,6. Ok let's start with #6. As you guys are walking you see in a man who approaches you, wringing his hands and wearing a worried expression on his face. He says You look like capable adventurers, Please help me. I bought some fruit on the black market to make some dye for my products, and recently i recieved a note from the Ytepka society, which means i have limited time to live. Please accompany me to the Goldenthrone area. I have nothing to offer you except gratitude and satisfaction that comes with saving a life

Orym frowns confused, "This work market. Tis where you won't share but you have to use the coins . . . what's a black market?" He obviously is not following the nuances of things. "This Ytepka they being some sort of seer or speaker of omens, that you worry for your life?
Insight: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Lost to the actual details but willing to show kindness, "If you need help we can escort you is it here in this city. Otherwise we have very pressing matters."
Ambooku
Agreeing with Orym, Ambooku addresses the man in his naitive Chultan dialect, which roughly translates out to: "Dear sir, we are already indebted to another who has limited time to live. We cannot in good faith address your concerns while ignoring that of our charge, whose life is withering away under a curse as we speak. If, perhaps, you were able to offer some source of information to assist in the direction of our quest then we could honorably address your circumstance as a relevant tangent to that of our charge's. Otherwise, were you to volunteer to accompany and assist us, you might remain safer with us until we accomplish our goal an can at that time address your slighting of the Ytepka Society."
Nathaniel Seely
Nathaniel feels for the man, but is unsure exactly what the situation is, and is hesitant to get in over his head. "That sounds quite bad, my friend, but I don't understand. What does it mean to receive a note from the Ytepka society, and why would you get one? I think I can speak for us all when I say that we will need more to go on before we could possibly 'save your life' as you are hoping we can."
Persuasion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Try to get him to divulge more info.
DM Greaek
He says The Ytepka society is the people that keep order in the city.
I am not able to offer you help or coin, as i said before all i have is gratitude. I might be able to give you free wares but that is all, and would take away from my income, but a small price for a saved life
Orym Rednose
"I will help you. I am Seraphiel. And you are?"
LG alignment in full swing. Sorry.
Feel free to RP. Any feet dragging is for Orym wanting to make sure that the request is something possible. Like if its a walk across the city that is not going to take forever. If its a walk to another city or someplace days away that will take us far off mission. I was just playing him terribly out of depth thousands of miles from home and not clear what all the social rules are.
Orym reiterates, "This place you need help reaching. It is within the city? Yes?"
Zeb Ochrona
A day is within our power and honor in which to save a life. While illegal purchases are dishonorable Zeb sighs at the man they are not worthy of death from a mysterious society. I, for one, will do what is within my power to see you to safety. Tell us your name and how this Goldenthrone area will keep you safe.
Nathaniel Seely
Yes, please don't feel bad about role-playing your character. Nathaniel is more concerned about the "big picture" good than an individual's problems. So he is just trying to see how this guy would fit into the larger scheme of things, and if helping him would in fact hinder the main goal of dealing with the death curse.
Seeing that his new found allies are moving towards helping the strange man, Nathaniel softens his stance. "If we can help you deal with this without jeopardizing our mission, then you can count on me. I do not, however, want to run afoul of the law here." Addressing himself to the rest of the party "We must keep in mind what we came here to do. We are outsiders in Chult, and do not understand all the implications of our actions. If we get on the wrong side of the authorities in Port Nyanzaru it could make things very difficult for us. We must tread lightly."
Orym Rednose
Orym looks around incredulously at the implications, "What level of madness bein' this that fruit could lead to a death mark? Is life worth so little." A great rage burns behind his eyes.
DM Greaek
He says My name is Omara, Goldenthrone is where the merchant is and is where I would go to beg forgiveness. There would be no attacking of guards, I go there and beg for mercy, and if they decide not to grant it I die, probably in the executioner's run. I am completely at their and your mercy
Nathaniel Seely
"It's not the fruit," Nathan says to Orym "it's the money, and the control. To some, yes, life is worth so little. Yet another reason for us to be cautious in how we act here."
To Omara Nathaniel says "I still can't see why you need us. If there is to be no attacking of guards, which is a good thing, then how exactly are we going to help you beg for your life? Or do you expect us to save you from the executioner should they decide not to have mercy on you?"
Orym Rednose
Orym furrows his brow, "Bah. It sound like he be punished for fruit if we take him or not. It seems less like a kindness. I am forced to trust you who know these strange ways."
Ambooku
I'm not sure what he is wanting. Does he want us to protect him from something like bounty hunters until he reaches Goldenthrone? If so, then I'm all for letting him tag along with us until we can consult with Wakanga. If he doesn't want anything of us until he begins traveling to Goldenthrone at some later time, then I'm fine with letting him go until then.

He is marked for death basically. He hopes to get to the authorities to beg for mercy in the hopes they won't execute him. But he worries crossing down will draw vigilante or bounty hunters who will kill him for the reward money. If I am following.

The man leads you through the town, and after talking to some guards you find ourselves in front of a Woman, poofy hair, with two incubi at her side. With 8 guards by her side. Omara falls down at her feet Please dear lady have mercy on me Omara kneels down and takes his face in her hand I have no reason to let you live. You bought off the black market and were dumb enough to get caught. But I see you have brought some friends with you, and they might give me a reason. and she stands turning to you, keeping her face in her hand There is a man named Shago who works as a guide at Fort Beluarian. Your friends must kill him within ten days, no questions asked, and no-one can know until then. You have 5 minutes to discuss and decide. and her hands light up with flame, burning the man's face, him screaming as he falls to the ground, still conscious but face scarred
Orym Rednose
Just to clarify the woman is flanked by demons?
Orym looks to the man they escorted here. "This is who ye expected mercy from? Ye are a true fool."
Zeb Ochrona
A look of horror crosses Zeb's face. He is obviously on edge and he snarls at the woman.
I won't kill anyone for you, murderess!
He looks around the room frantically, hoping to size up the odds that he and his newfound companions could help this man but he begins to lose hope looking at the 8 guards, two fiends, and woman with arcane power of some sort.
He mutters to Orym
I won't be killing anyone for this witch but I don't think we can do anything for that poor man. What do you think?
