#5-08: The Confirmation [Tier 1-2] (Core) - GM Rutseg (Inactive)

I am coming with this new Core proposal, The Confirmation the scenario every single Pathfinder agent should count between his first experiences.

I have a semi-consolidated group of Core players running through their first adventures. We are playing in Open Table mode, and thus, there should be room for 2 to 4 more players to join depending on how many of them presents themselves for recruitment.

What I will be expecting?
Character builds: Whatever fitting PFS Core rules, with level 1 or 2. This is a bit special scenario, and you can repeat it with any level 1 character even if you have played it before in Core.
Posting frequency: 2 times per day
Playing style: Fast pace with capacity to RP (I want fluid combats with characters that have paid a minimum observance to a background and make an effort for party interaction). I have preference for players that make an effort to perform their characters, rather than just stats beasts. I like the strategy layer of combat, and will help you out if you have difficulties with the rules on that sense.
Timespan: The game will take around 3 and 6 weeks to complete, depending on players responsiveness.
Party size: 5 to 7 depending on applications.
Pregens: I will accept pregens, but will give priority to other characters.
GMing style: I make passive rolls, as Perception, Initiative or Saves. GM bots and delays if only one player is missing to act will be frequent.
Mapping tools: You are expected to have access to view (and preferably edit) Google Presentations maps.
Player responsiveness: I expect you to have initiative as a player, pushing the game to explore and interact, not just reacting to the GM initiative rolling and direct questions for what next.
Holidays: It is expected some people might have difficulties to post during summer holidays. We will see how we deal with that, it might be the game takes more time than usual to complete, but please, keep us updated about any issue.

Just provide an idea of a possible character (remember Core) you will like to play with (class, race and level are enough). I will check your previous gaming experience and take into account party balance when selecting who is going in.

People who has GMed me (past or present) will have priority. I will reserve at least 1 spot for someone with little or no previous PbP experience, so take this as a great opportunity to get experience in PbP roleplaying.

We will start the game as soon as we have a balanced party.

I'd like to submit a level 1 fighter archer, CORE. Background and concept in profile.

I've played in a few RL and PbP PFS games, though not with this character.

Bennybeck@ you will need a PFS character created with the Core button to participate. A forum alias is not enough.

Benny has a profile and has been through 2 adventures. He was made with the PFS option on Herolab.

What I basically need is a PFS number I can use to check if your character is recognised as Core by the reporting system. Last thing I would want is to break all the table Core characters because I failed to detect one of theme was not Core on reporting.

Edit: Full disclosure: Intent is to respec and swap out of core after leveling to 2, but she's run a live PFS Core session and nought else.

Hi Rutseg, Pirate Rob here.
I've got lots of experience both playing and GMing in PFS, including numerous pbps.

Syrak Divinion is my newest CORE character, a noble knight from Lastwall trying to secure an alliance with the Pathfinder Society, just like Mendev did.

I have both played and GMed the Confirmation before.

I'm available to post multiple times a day most weekdays although I will have very limited connectivity during GenCon and cannot guarantee any posts during that time.

This is a Core character I'd be interested in playing if there's space. Level 1 Core Paladin, this would be her third level 1 scenario (others played face to face). If selected, I can update the character's information on Paizo later today.

Full disclosure, I have played and run this scenario in non-Core.

That too. Limits the choice in clerics domain pairings, for example.

I'm going to bow out of consideration for this one for the moment. Definitely interested in Core play though, so I'll keep an eye out for future games.
