Is it an enchantment effect? Then add 2 for a 14, because of Elf

Oop, as I was dead last, figured there were still lots of folks to go in front of me, including the as yet undisclosed bad guy 'Support'!
But can do it now if you'd like...
(currently Shaken)
5' step to his left, and swing
With a sense of trepidation from the wave of fear that poured off of the queen, Little Foot stays his ground, stepping slightly to his left.
"This ain't your hall, any more then that painted mess is your face." He growls, before taking another might swing with his weapon.
Melee Attack: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 5 - 2 = 23
Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
holy crap, two in a row!
Confirmation Roll: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 5 - 2 = 5
edit: no such luck

GM, will you move us through the secret passage back to where we came from? Or do you want us to do that?

why don't y'all go ahead and 'move at maximum speed away from the source of the fear' yourselves.
Rowanna Nachtalus
|
Rowanna runs through the hall away from Morilaeth as quickly as she can, dropping her quarterstaff and screaming in terror.
Faeranduil
|
Faeranduil screams like a little girl that lost her cuddly toy and runs back the way they came, up the stairs and crashing into a door.
Torean Spellbane
|
Torean scoffs at the frightened humans and elves. He moves up beside Littlefoot and swings his warhammer at the witch's face. "You will pay dearly for what you've done here!"
Can someone assist with the movement? Moving to the left of Littlefoot. Swift action to start Justice judgement.
Attack (DF, Judgement, Shaken): 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 21

Round 1
Cesare begins an inspiring oratory, hoping to rally his comrades as he moves into the room, while everyone else except the dwarves flees in obvious terror. Cesare takes up a firing position, leveling his bow at the dark fey lady.
Cesare Will: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (20) + 0 = 20
Morileth hp: -4 - 4 - 1 + 5 = -4
Cesare know(nature - fey), bardic know: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Two mites maintained their composure despite their Lady's frightening range. They advance to intercept the dwarves, spending their pesky curses as they come. They are, unfortunately for them, not sufficiently coordinated to also draw their daggers at the same time.
pesky curses... DC10 will saves
LittleFoot will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Torean will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Little Foot know(nature): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Lady Morileth takes a 5' step backward (beyond the two mites). She casts a spell briefly, and duplicates herself with a shimmering, shifting copy. As she moves for position, it is apparent that her wounds are healing as quickly as those newly inflicted.
Spellcraft can identify what she just did, if it's necessary. Yes, she regenerates. No, no one so far has identified the bypass for her DR. I've checked the bard and Little Foot. It doesn't appear Torean is trained in know(nature).
All the PCs are up now. Three panicky folks - one more round of fleeing. Little Foot, Cesare, and Torean are unshaken, and in fact are affected by 'inspire courage' (+1 to hit/damage, and saves v. enchantment/fear). Go for Round 2!
Falksat Infer Noghaltz
|
Falksat keeps his desperate run for another round, but all that stuff on the next room makes it hard for him to get anywhere. I'll be back to action on round 4, folks ^_^ Btw I do have knowledge nature, but I guess I'm just too far now
Faeranduil
|
Faeranduil thinks he sees his cuddly toy in the distance, so he runs on and on and on and on and on and on....
Will save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Faeranduil runs back to Absalom
Theo Rosevale

Little Foot curses as Morileth's wounds seem to heal almost as fast as they can injure her.
He shucks the quivers off of his shoulder onto the ground, then steps to follow her as she moves away.
"Cesare, that's all I got left if they'll help. Try to keep those little bastards off us! This b%@!+ is healing fast!"
I'm assuming a move action to drop his arrows in his space? Alas, only 2 cold iron remain (Falksat has the rest). The rest are silver and regular.
When the duplicate image pops into being he curses even more. "Torean, you hit the ugly one, I'll get the other ugly one!" He growls, before taking another swing with his Tetsubo.
Melee Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 5 + 1 = 18
Damage: 1d10 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6
edit: wow, my damage rolls have been awful all scenario. 8(

ah - no apologies! Let me try again. For those not running, I have checked, and they do not know/infer much about this dark fey based on their interactions so far. The rest of the party (those running) can make a know(nature) check @DC20 ('give it a whirl') to see if they know anything useful about this fey.
All of the folks that are afear'd need to continue running this round (Round 2), and will automatically recover then, and can come slogging back.
Lady Morileth is quite ugly enough - but most/all of her fear effects are DC14 - as I said, ugly enough already.

@Little Foot - very theatrical, swashbuckle-y. 5' "step" over the arm of the throne. Hammer swings, dwarf plunges down towards wicked dark fey. The crowd goes wild!
Absolutely - works for me. :)
Torean Spellbane
|
Torean steps up near Littlefoot again, but turns his attention to the mite and swings at it.
5 foot step south. Attack mite.
Attack (DF, Judgement, Bard, Shaken): 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 - 2 = 8
Damage (DF, Bard): 1d8 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 11

The to-hit rolls need to step up as well...
Round 2
The dwarven stalwarts step forward and strongly attack the dark fey Lady. Their success is very limited - perhaps hampered by the two mites swarming around and trying to bite the dwarves' ankles.
mite Torean: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 1 + 2 = 16, damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
mite LF: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 1 + 2 = 11, damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2
morileth poke Torean: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 2 = 14, damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
morileth HP: -4 + 4 = 0
The mites swirl around, seeking some position of advantage, however their small daggers do not find any purchase. Lady Morileth attempts to make use of their distraction, leveling her cold iron rapier at Torean - an attack deflected by his gorget only at the last moment. Lady Morelth also moves around the fight, freeing space behind her, and placing Torean between herself and Little Foot.
As Rowanna flees, she finds herself caught in the panicked swirl of derros and mites. Although she ignores them, and they ignore her, there is a mutual awareness of shared terror. As Rowanna's intellect wrestles with that impression, she finds herself climbing her analytic process out of the depths of terror. She sees that several of the dark folk who she overtook in her headlong flight continue to stream out of the great hall, and continue to ignore her.
As Faerunduil and Falksat recover their senses, they find themselves back in the forge room (two rounds' travel away from the Great Hall). Some of the dark folk fleeing the Great Hall have come the long way around through the processional stair, and are passing through the corridor to the north, or short-cutting through the forge room. At least one has impaled itself on a protruding metal pole in its panick. They are all passing away to some destination on the east end of the nort corridor. (I've marked the flow of traffic with BIG arrows)
Falksat Infer Noghaltz
|
Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18
Falksat recover his senses and sees the lot fleeing, but he realizes the fey is their biggest enemy, and thus runs back to face her, hopefully in time, ending up in the beginning of the stairs going down again.
Rowanna Nachtalus
|
Once Rowanna's logic returns, she moves swiftly back to the throne area. She appears cautious, yet relieved the fey seem to be ignoring her.
Double move in a straight line, unless those figures in the middle of the map appear aggressive.

|
Snarling in frustration as their attacks on the fey woman seem to be making little headway, Little Foot takes out his frustration on one of the mites, bring his weapon down on it from atop the throne.
Swinging at the mite east of Cesare so he hopefully won't be flanked and has somewhere to back away to
Melee Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 5 + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d10 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13 (minus DR)
If he manages to smite it, he then will hop down next to Torean and the Fey woman again.
Faeranduil
|
Faeranduil realises his cowardliness, turns on his heels and runs back the way he came.
Torean Spellbane
|
Torean swings at the mite again.
Attack (DF, Judge, Bard): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Damage (DF, Bard): 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

@Cesare - apologies, I 'bot'd you for a round to move forward over the weekend. Cesare resisted the fear, started a bardic performance, and advanced through the frightened crowd of dark folk, grabbing a bit of cover. The mass of bad guys ran in panic when Herself got very scary all of a sudden (they're explicitly drug-addled, cowardly, and non-combatant), except for her two attendants (who apparently are used to Her Scariness), both of whom made their will saves. Swinging at the mite this turn misses, because one or the other of the dwarves pounded it into the ground like a nail.
@rowana - roger that. figures in the middle of the floor are human corpses, looking very similar to the catatonic merchant that was chained to the wall. A very Chellish assumption would be that these are his compatriots that didn't survive long enough to be catatonic.
I'll advance the action in a few moments...

Round 3
Little Foot smashes one mite, and advances on Lady Morileth. Torean likewise smashes a mite. Cesare's sword sings through the space vacated by the Torean's mite, as Cesare maintains an ongoing patter of inspirational oration. The other members of the party collect themselves, and begin to rejoin the fray.
Lady Morileth, seeing her attendants smashed to paste, screams in rage, "You will see me in your dreams forever! My servants will haunt you endlessly, tormenting your nightmares!" She draws back a space, and unleashes a torrent of cold hatred, manifesting as pure negative energy.
channel damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5 (DC14) for half
Will Torean: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Will LF: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Will Cesare: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14
[i]'channel energy' damage: Torean 5, Cesare 2, Little Foot 2
Round 4 - Faeranduil and Falksat will be back at the doorway at the end of this round. Everyone else - Go!

"I'll try to get behind her, cut off her retreat." Little Foot says to Torean in dwarvish, before taking a more circuitous route to try to cut off her retreat.
He snarls at her, as he does so, "I don't know about my dreams lady, but my nerves are already a bit stretched"
One move action to circle around, then ready an action to strike once Torean 5' steps into a flanking position.
Rowanna Nachtalus

Rowanna advances toward the fey nightmare woman and places another curses with another Evil Eye Hex. She seems bored at the woman's threats.
Evil Eye Hex: -2 to AC on Lady Morilaeth. DC 14 Will Save. Duration: 1 round with save, 7 rounds if fail save.
If she failed the Evil Eye hex save on the first round, please don't forget she still takes a -2 to saves.
