Alrighty, I'll drop some votes:

Council of Thieves

Actually, I'd like to change my votes.

1- Second Darkness
2- Iron Gods
3- Council of Thieves

The idea of an evil vampire campaign finally won me over. It was close to begin with, but then I realized the chance for a vampire campaign wouldn't come again for a long time...

WhoooT!!!

Thanks guys!! Been dyin to play in this game since Shadow mentioned it on his recruitment thread!!

Yeah, I'd switch my votes as well, going for

1) Second Darkness
2) Iron Gods
3) Reign of Winter

About Dreamscarred Press' vampires, from what I've heard it's basically a port of monster classes, like 3.5's in Savage Species.

Revisions noted. I'll update totals in a few days as other interested parties check in.

1 reign of winter
2 iron gods
3 second darkness.
Thinking of witchy classes. Hmm

There's a list on the prior page :-)

I'd have voted for Rogue Trader, but I don't have the rule set. :)

HAHA!! YES!! With the new, revised votes, it looks like Second Darkness Vampires has pulled ahead into first place!!

Shadow, feel to end the voting right now(as of this post, not when you read it, lol) :P

@Monkeygod: Want to form a vampire clan?

Hah. Nope, the thread must go on!

An interesting idea. Hold off on specifics until I begin recruiting though...

Surething Storyteller, although if I've had an influence. :)

YAASS!!

I'm likely going to reprise a variation of this PC, who in turn in a re-imagining of one my favorite table top PCs.

Veldrin is more a selfish, power hungry NE than the nihilist Daemon type NE.

As such, and also due to his high int(he's always a Necromancer Wizard), he highly values allies, and turning potential enemies to his side.

I am fine with kicking rough ideas around just keep it generic enough to fit in wherever.

If we do Clans/Factions maybe I'll create feat trees that allow each Clan to have a different power type. Similar to Vampire Clan Disciplines but each Faction only gets one power. Sort of like Eberron Dragonmarks I suppose.

1. Second Darkness
2. Council of Thieves
3. Reign of Winter

Vampire campaign, oh yeah :).

Sounds neat, I like the idea.

1. Second Darkness.
2. Rogue Trader.
3. Reign of Winter.

My not-yet-existing Dirge Bard wants to Suggest that the immortal sparkle fairies change their votes... Well we will see how the voting pans out and sooner or later the bard band will rock.

No sparkle fairies here, this will be some bloody s*@#.

Oooorrrrr

You could play your not-yet-existing Dirge Bard as a vampire...

Also,
Even if Second Darkness Vampires wins, it doesn't mean Rock Bards won't be run.

Would all variations of vampires (Jiang-Shi, Morlock, Moroi, Vetala, and Psychic) published by Paizo be allowed? I mean, I'd likely go with a Moroi regardless, but it might help convince others to vote for SD over the others.

call a blood hunt on the sparkly's

Whoops, amending my vote.
It was supposed to be;
1. Council of Thieves.
2. Second Darkness.
3. Rogue Trader.

That's better.

I'll take a look as we get closer but I generally allow everything so probably.

Speaking of Vampires

I'd be interested in the Reign of Winter one, but not any of the others.

Elegantly Wasted, traitor! How dare you turn your back on your kind! For this I will see you burn!!

Monkeygod, I'm sorry! I just can't pass up a chance to play a band of bards! Or a vampire! Or a psyker!

Not 100% sure I would have time for another campaign, trying to pace myself after all, but have to say these are some interesting concepts.

1) Reign of Winter
2) Second Darkness (No idea about this one, but the premise sounds cool.)
3) Iron Gods (Full Disclosure: I have the whole AP thanks to the Humble Bundle they had a bit back, and have played the first chapter... well, most of it anyway.)

The Children of the Night cannot forgive such a betrayal, this transgression will not go unnoticed. :)

Pick your top 3.

I will run two or three of them. I will have rolling Recruitment meaning I will Recruit for the most popular first (probably start in March and end April 1). Then do the same in April and again in May (if I feel I have enough room on my plate to run the third game).

Emphasis mine.

Rock Bards still stands a chance to be ran, if it comes in second.

Also, you could totally play a Lestat rock star vampire bard, and that could be pretty freakin awesome.

... if you were really ambitious, you could have a single party of vampire bards do BOTH campaigns, one after the other....

Mind. BLOWN.

3. Reign of Winter

Okay, either Dirge Bard who uses Suggestion and Charm Monster against the undead, or Arcane Duelist with bonded weapon becoming a Sun Blade some day.

Even if Council of Thieves isn't undead-heavy, he's now got a hook. A certainty that vampires are the great rivals who, jealous of bards' awesomeness, have been plotting against him since before he was born.

Nope.

Not playing a vampire bard. Sorry.

If Second Darkness enters recruitment, I will be applying with Veldrin. He's had an unfortunate run in online games, and I'm confident such will not be the case, should he be selected for a Storyteller Shadow game.

Listen playing a vampire is amazing any way you spin it. Although bardic vampires is very interesting. Doom metal band?

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: The Princes of Night!

as for Vampires are people going to be cliche with names like Alucard or "Coach Feratu"? Maybe follow this advice,Vampire naming issues?

TO ME MY HAWKMEN!

Votes counted as of February 19:

10 1st place votes. 1. Second Darkness. All Vampire AP starting with book 3 or 4.
6 1st place votes. 2. Iron Gods. DM Default just had a massive turn out for it and I was considering picking up some of those submissions and running it.
11 1st place votes. 3. Reign of Winter. All Witch Class/Archtype group. Any class or archetype with 'witch in it. Witch, a Witch Doctor, a Witchguard, a Witch Hunter, a Witch Killer, etc.
9 1st place votes. 4. Council of Thieves. All Bard group.
2 1st place vote. 5. Rogue Trader. Utilizing the Lure of the Expanse Module.

There are 9 (soon to be 8) more days to express interest. After that, the top vote getting AP will have Recruitment begin on March 1. If there is a tie, the AP with the most 2nd place votes gets the nod.

Reign of Winter appears to be more popular than I thought it would be!

well, baba yaga, nasty monsters and all the snow you can eat. What's not to like about reign of winter.

I do like Reign of Winter.

I'd said earlier that I was tentative on 4 and also interested in 1 and 3 - changing my vote now - Definitely interested in 4 as my first place vote, then 1 as my second-place vote.

Not to mention the joys of snow ball fights... when said snow balls go flying at your enemies! XD
