PbP Game Day 2: PFS #5–06: You Have What You Hold (3-7)

Recruitment

I'm looking for a group of players who enjoy a good roleplaying scenario:

#5–06: You Have What You Hold
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–7.

As an act of retribution, an enemy of the society begins hiring river pirates to waylay Pathfinder boats bound for the crusader nation of Mendev. Unless the Pathfinders can track down the party responsible and put an end to their piracy, the raids may spell the doom of the society’s ambitions to the north.

Content in "You Have What You Hold" also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Sczarni faction.

Written by Sean McGowan.

This game is part of the Official Pathfinder Society PbP Game Day. For more information please follow the link PbP Game Day

The game starts on April 5th, 2014, and ends, at the latest, July 5th, 2014.

Recruitment is open. Please state your interest by posting as a PFS legal character in this thread. Please only apply if you are willing to post at least daily (including weekends)

At your service...

Grand Lodge

Hi DM Kludde. I am currently in your LoL game. If its alright I would like to apply for this one also, if not I will bow out np.

I would play with Fredrik here or, if I can get him avaible in time, a rogue that belongs to the Sczarni faction.

The Exchange

Hi DM Kludde, I have my sorcerer 7th of the Sczarni faction ready to play this game.

Rhydderch, Fredrik, Tolgarov: welcome all! It'll be a bit of a long wait before the game starts, but we've almost got a full table, so it'll be likely to go ahead

1. Rhydderch
2. Fredrik
3. Tolgarov
4.
5.
6.

Grand Lodge

hello to all
if this is played at the high tier i can bring my Sczarni Witch (level 7)

I remember you Tol...don't have too much fun being a pyromaniac lol

I have a barb 4 or a bard 4 i can bring..

Dark Archive

@Gilthanis : don't worry I will let you have your fun :P

Looking good! Depending on the APL of all players, we'll choose tier, but as it look with two level 7s, it's already highly slanted towards higher tier.

Gilthanis: do you want to join this table, or were you just posting a shout-out to Tolgarov?

1. Rhydderch
2. Fredrik
3. Tolgarov
4. Algar Lysandris
5. Werepox47
6.

Sovereign Court

DM, I have Shel who will be finished with her current scenario by the time the GameDay rolls around who would love a spot. She is currently a Ranger 2/rogue 2. Information is in profile.

1. Rhydderch
2. Fredrik
3. Tolgarov
4. Algar Lysandris
5. Werepox47
6. Shel Whispertongue

Looks like we have a nice table to roll with. I'll determine the tier once everyone has their character ready and finalised (which only has to be done by scenario start - April 5th)

I'm looking forward to running this :)

I have been excepted to another game with my barb.. Sorry but i must withdraw.. Good luck!

Hiya!

If there's now a spot vacated by Werepox, I'd like to be considered :)

I have a 'Face/Combat Rogue' and a Barbarian, both Sczarni, and both in the correct tier (L6-7) - can look to bring either based on whats needed more.

Oh GM, assuming that its ok and I am in, if you could tell me which of the two would be most appropriate I can then update details etc and also look for a slot for the other one.

Sovereign Court

Personally, I think the barbarian is more needed. Shel is good at skills, but doesn't contribute much in combat. A masher would make up for her deficiency, IMHO.

That resolved quickly :)

Thanks Werepox, for letting me know and welcome Shifty for filling up the spot. I'm somewhat impartial to what character you bring, but it does seem to be a good idea to bring a balanced party. I'll leave it for you to figure it out among yourselves, ok?

1. Rhydderch
2. Fredrik
3. Tolgarov
4. Algar Lysandris
5. Shifty
6. Shel Whispertongue

The Exchange

The Barbarian is a 'Mad-Dog' and a bit of a headbreaker, so if we need more crunch he certainly brings that in spades.

I'll get his profile updated as hes been played Face to Face more recently, so the pbp is not up to date. He's presently L6, though COULD be 7 by start of play (we have a couple of sessions coming up)

Dark Archive

Tolgarov is an heavy sorcerer who like burning things to ashes.

First off: I love the avatar picture of Tolgarov :)

Second: I don't expect the scenario to take the full three months. Half that is actually more likely. If you guys are up for it, I can follow-up with another scenario right away. For my benefit, though, I would have to register that before March 29. I'd give it a projected start date of May 17 (which we will adjust depending on timing). The logical next scenario would be 5-09 The Traitor's Lodge or 5-14 Day of the Demon.

My questions:
-Are you up for that?
-Is the choice of scenario fine, or would you prefer a different one?

Sovereign Court

The Traitors Lodge would be great for Shel, DM.

Dark Archive

Thanks :)

I've already played these two scenario, so not for me.

Shadow Lodge

I have not played neither of those so if you decide to do it DM Kludde its fine by me.

The Exchange

I have played DoTD, so Traitors Lodge would be ideal.

I've put gameplay thread, so you can dot it and have the game appear on the campaigns tab.

As for a second game: it seems I can't please everyone here, which is a shame. I'll default to Traitors lodge, but I'll give you another couple of days if you want to come up with an alternative (I'm open to any PFS scenario, though I prefer the season fives)

Grand Lodge

I haven't played either of the 2 following games DM...

Silver Crusade

I'm up for either...

Shadow Lodge

Not sure whats going on with the discussion tread, but I have being trying to dot it since the weekend without success.

The Exchange

It seems the ooc balise doesn't work
