Kontha's teeth go right through the man's defenses leaving him a bleeding wreck on the floor.

Cyrene's spell covers the corner of the room, getting glitter over everything. Unfortunately both men hit by the cloud maintained their composure enough to continue being able to see.

They use that to their advantage as one casts burning hands, trying to get Marina in the wash of flame. The one standing by Marina begins choking on the smoke in the room.

After the flame washes by the man that looks to be in charge casts a spell, moving into position before attacking Marina. Cast grace, move to flank, attack.

I didn't realize we still had some Haste. What wonderful news!

Dissa targets the spellcaster as his primary opponent, especially with the area attacks. If the spellcaster should drop, he'll shift focus to a threatened foe to gain Outflank benefits.

That's my secret General: They're all spellcasters.

Kontha starts coughing and choking because of the smoke as Dulomak clears his lungs. Even without choking the half orc is still a bit disoriented and misses his lunge. The smoke isn't doing Dissa any help either, as most of his attacks miss, though the ones that do connect drop one of the enemies.

He fails to hold the spell, allowing Dulomak to enter the room and drop him with one powerful chop. Combat over!

Marina hears nothing of consequence, and opens the door.


Exposed beams and broken timbers indicate that the original ceiling of this large parlor fell away some time ago, creating this two-story chamber. Thick tangles of iridescent webs string together debris around the room’s perimeter. To the west, several tables littered with a complicated arrangement of flasks, alembics, and cauldrons surround a shiver still, which emits a strange, bitter smell.

Hanging from various pieces of webbing are dog sized spiders which start snapping their mandibles as the door is opened.

DC 10 Kn. (Nature):
These are dream spiders, creatures essential in creating the drug Shiver.

DC 15 Kn. (Nature):
The webs spun by a dream spider carries an iridescent hue. They also create vivid hallucinations through touch alone Wis damage, and a poisonous gas if burned.

Since Dissa seems to have the doorway well held Cyrene holds her magic for now and simply glances back and forth between the tall man and the mildly suicidal undine.

Dulomak and Kontha rush into the room, crushing one of the Dream Spiders with fang and blade. Chittering can be heard high above before four large couches come crashing down atop the half-orc and dinosaur.

Damage: 6d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 5, 6, 4) = 22

Both are hit rather hard, but they manage to make their way out of the pile of webbed up furniture, ready to continue the fight.
