After talking their way out of the situation at the tavern, the party decided to chase a rumor that a dragon nested up the mountian. When they got there, their guide split and they were attacked by a hydra. Ashur and Jed were following a short distance back, and are now comming up on the scene of the slaughter.
Ashur, you and Jed round the corner to see Dahak smashing the heads of a large, seven-headed, reptilian beast into a pulp. Myrkar is picking the ninja up off the ground, and Revan is going behind Dahak, pouring Alchemist Fire on the stumps.
Dragonmann, awesome RP. You do a great (and hilarious) warforged. "Seem to be leaking air..." Good stuff.

Dahak is a character study in the very borders of messianic obession and schizophranic disconnection. It doesn't help that he is obviously built to be something he isn't being (check his stats and his gear, +5 hide, +5 move silent???), which left him with a lot of pent up rage.
And oh yeah, his formative period was spent watching a wounded dragon sleep of a world of hurt.
He has a very very limited understanding of the real world...
There are going to be a lot of logic clashes between your character and mine. See: Elf mystic/ascetic + psychotic one-track-mind warforged. RP and laughs all around!

He isn't so much psychotic as neurotic, with more than a few functional disorders.
Like the way he has ritualisticly carved scales into his metal body (OCD)
or the ignoring damage (cognitive ignorance)
or his tendency to switch from common to draconic at random (developmental disorder)
and oh will there be more

Question: None of the healing spells were having issues around the door, so it has no effect on divine magic, yes? I asked this question on the game tread, but it got lost in the other stuff. It would make even more sense since we seem to be dealing with a dragon and they deal with arcane magic. But I just wanted to be sure.
Visigoth, I'm going to have to give up this game because of schedual issues. Sorry. Right now I can only post on weekends, and that's not a great timetable for PBPs unless everyone else is on that timetable too.
My posting time is going to drop rather drastically until the 15th of November. My father, who was stuck in a very unpleasant management position, got a DWAI in August and just got this little anklet thing that keeps track of his movements so he doesn't deviate from a set schedule. Unfortunately the box that goes with this doohcky has to be plugged into the phone. Since we are on dial-up we don't have internet access for a whole f$&+ing month. Fortunately a friend who lives a couple of miles down the road will let us use his internet. I should be able to post on Fridays (mostly in the evening), sometimes Thursdays, and maybe a few othr days for a little while. I'm really enjoying the campaign so far and would like to continue but if you don't want to have such an unreliable player for a month I will completley understand if you want to replace me. I'd prefer to keep my slot but I'd understand. And yes, I'm pretty pissed at him.
