This is the best of the three orc miniatures in this set. The bowstring is assembled incorrectly above the arm but it doesn't take away from the overall miniature too much. I'm just happy for a decent Pathfinder orc for once.
Paint job is just okay, but glad to have another orc sculpt
Product arrived decent speed, good condition. The miniature has better detail then expected. I am happy I purchased it for my half-orc ranger, it clicks in my mind easily when seeing it on the board "that's my dude." For the cost, getting a painted miniature this close to my character image is very nice.
Shame on Wizkids for not catching this error for what seems liek the whole run. Were there any assembled right? Did anyone get lucky enough not to have to fix their Orcs?
The orcs of this set are my favourite plastic orc minis in my collection. I appreciate the colour choices and the pose. Compared to some other miniatures of late, this one has got good detail. While it isn't perfect (there are a few bits of paint that go over-border in some areas on my model), I am very satisfied. Definitely worth picking up a few of these to serve in your orcish encounters.
So is there an easy way to fix the bows on this figure?
Every one I received in my case is wrong, but I was thinking of just cutting the "string" on the bow, use hot water to reshape the bow, and use a small drop of glue to attach the string under the arm.
I don't have my case, yet, but if the string is like the pictures I have seen online, it's in the right place. The miniature matches the art from The Inner Sea World Guide. I imagine the orc is firing his bow crossbow style. I can't speak for the shape of the bow.
ok, so that I can be sure I understand you. You are saying that the string should be above his arm as in this picture:
