Hello,
I am a fairly new Pathfinder player from the Baltimore area. My current group of friends who play are incredibly unreliable, and so we manage only a game a month or less at times. Which is frustrating as I have quickly become a big fan of the game, and put alot of time into developing characters and storylines, and after playing just a few sessions I began GM'ing my own games for them.
I am looking for a group, playing any campaign or homebrew (the only PFRPG game I've done is Kingmaker, and we only made it to level 4 before stopping). I am a pretty easy-going player, who enjoys both the tactical combat side, and the fun-RP side (fit with horrible accents).
I am willing to travel -some- distance, as I currently drive to Pennsylvania for the group I am in. Usual game times are Saturday Nights, starting at 5(or 6 depending on travel time) until whenever, and Sundays from whatever times.
If you know if any games starting or in need of new players, let me know!

DeNaLi, I've got nothing starting right now but I live in the Baltimore area and if something comes up I'll let you know!
You might also go to Legends Games and Comics on Joppa Road near Towson and advertise there that you're looking for a group.
Thanks. Ive never heard of that place befor actually, so Ill give it a look. Only places I knew around here was the store in havre de grace, and chucks comics down in essex.

Have you heard of Graphic Novelty? It's at 1712 Thames St. Baltimore MD 21231. That's in Fell's Point, for all you locals. Their phone number's 410-522-0215.
Two years ago, they mentioned a Pathfinder game going on there. Link. Last year, they mentioned that the game was still going on. Alas, I could never make it. But maybe you could give them a call?

I know a group that plays PF around the Chesapeake Beach area. I don't know if it is closer or further than where you go now, as I assume if you go to PA you are more northern. I know another group around Odenton, but they play 4E if all you're looking for is PF. The group I'm in play both (but we are full).

DeNaLi -- there's a place in Havre de Grace? Where?
Black Dalek, Graphic Novelty is closed--at least, the last time I passed the store on Thames Street back @ November 4 or so, it was empty.
As for other game stores in the Baltimore area, there's also Alternate Worlds in Cockeysville and Games and Things and Stuff in Glen Burnie. Legends is my go-to place and they host gaming events on occasion (plus, they share space with an awesome Thai restaurant), but Alternate Worlds is pretty good too. Haven't been to the one in Glen Burnie but I've heard good things.

Gee, that's too bad. :(
One thing is kind of funny, though (although I'm drifting a bit off-topic.) I'll never forget the time I hoped I'd actually get to play at Graphic Novelty. That was what prompted me to get the PFRPG Core Rulebook and Bestiary I... at Legends. Hey, they said that they'd match any price I found on the internet, so I just printed out some pages from dragonstrove.com, and got those two books cheaply. And while I was at it, I got a set of dice, and also a Paizo map pack and flip-map, just to see what those were like. And there were other times when I went to Legends to get other gaming stuff. So when you say that Legends is your go-to place, I can hardly argue, can I?

There's a nice gaming store in Savage Mill, between DC and Baltimore, called the Family Game Store. It's in a little shopping center that was converted from the old cotton mill there.
My attempts to find a PF game in the area are coming up short... I thought something was going to turn into a campaign, but it's gone a different direction which isn't really what I'm looking for.

I just bought the beginner's box today as well. My son and I were interested in playing and went to the Family Game Store in Savage Mills yesterday as they were advertising a Pathfinder game from 4 to 7 pm. Unfortunately they already had 8 players so we're still looking. Games Comics and Stuff is a nice store in Glen Burnie so I'll probably check there next but in the meantime I bought the beginner's box so I can try it with my son. Good luck and let me know if anyone finds anything! We're in Columbia, MD.

Kheled, where in PG do you live? Thanks for the advice DeathQuaker. The owner of the Family Game Store did say they would work with any new players looking for a game and during the time the other game was going (4-7 pm, Sat), there was some room at their tables so I believe Kheled and his wife and my son and I would have room. I can be reached at casdebs@verizon.net if you want to try and arrange something at Savage Mills or somewhere else.

I have a pool of people that play here in Harford County if you are interested. We generally play evening/night/overnight since our two DMs (myself and a friend of mine) work 3rd shift, but sometimes we start earlier... sadly our schedules are random but we generally manage to play at least once every other week, depending on who is involved and such. Always looking for new blood.

I live in Laurel and I'm looking for players. I'm a DM of over thirty years standing. Done D&D through 3.5, Traveller, GURPS, Chivalry & Sorcery and Space Opera. I run on Sundays from 1300 to whenever. I'm just getting into DMing Pathfinder. I'm looking for more players. Won't start until after Pennsic. I can be reached at robert.glaub@verizon.net.

How come all o'y'all live near DC but advertise in the "Baltimore area" section. That's just not fair.
(BTW, there's supposed to be humor in this. I haven't had caffeine yet so if it comes off whiny that's not what I meant.)
I saw you mention earlier about the place in HdG that does tabletop rpgs. Its called Washington St Books and they are more of a Magic place. Huge selection of comics, old collector memorabilia and things of that nature. The last time I was in store they had a small section dedicated to pathfinder. There is also a place in elkton called Iconic comics or something that has open tables for gaming.
Just a little info to pass on from a native to the Harford County/Cecil County area.

I am resurrecting this thread because I am in Harford County and desperately looking for a game on the northern side of Baltimore. It seems like the entire concentration of Maryland Pathfinder players is concentrated south of the city.
I am not interested in PFS, my ideal game would be something based in the Pathfinder published Golarion campaign setting. Preferrably an AP!
I've done my share of GMing and I've found it is not for me, I want to play! I will gladly host if needed, we just bought a house and have plenty of space.
Thanks,
-sbi

I see you're in Harford County.
I'm in northwest Baltimore City. There is a new game store there, Game Haven of Maryland, on Reisterstown Road. Here is their Facebook link.
If that's not too far, I play PFS there on Tuesdays, but, my Mondays are going to open up soon for AP play.
