Im needing to get a new PFS character made, as my main is nearing level 7, but I cant decide on what I want to play. So, I came up with an idea. Poll the boards for what I should play, and how it should be designed. Class, race, stats, feats, skills, everything will be provided by whoever is willing to give input.
This wouldnt be first post getting dibs to declare what I use, but rather, Im hoping for a discussion, which would wind up with me playing, more or less, a community created 'pregen' character.
I do have a couple preferences: ive already got a dwarf and a half-orc in my various games, so Id prefer neither of those for the race, but if it must be one of them, then so be it.
For class, Id prefer one of the following: Bard, Cavalier (must be a small race), Inquisitor, Oracle, or Summoner, though it doesnt have to be one of those. Outright no to Barbarian, Cleric, and Sorcerer.
So, lets get this started:
Race and Class combination at least please, though feel free to offer as much as youd like.
Thanks ;)

My human Caviler is still the character I like the most.
I have a gnome ranger, but I've thought about a small fighter for some time... it would just be fun to picture and roleplay a halfling or gnome trying to compensate for their shortness through their strength- only thing is would be harder to find a good mini for it.

Ranged and/or Support.
Qadira, Taldor, or Chelaxian faction, please.
I'll give the general 'race/class' combo til Sunday night and then look over what everyone has suggested and narrow it down for the community to vote on a few choices.
And TwilightKnight, yea, I know, but I figured Id start it here to try to get some of the PFS regular-posters noticing it before it gets moved.

Well the jury is still out on whether I'm going to run this character, so I'll give him up. If you pick him, I'll roll up something different.
A super-fat gnomish cleric of Urgathoa who deals with all problems with food, including bad-guys. Take the "rough and ready" trait so you can use a ham hock or frying pan as a weapon, then focus your abilities on your negative energy channel to be effective. A Dex of 8 and an Int of 8 will round out his fat, none-too-bright, but jovial nature.
If you're curious, this is what I imagine he looks like, and yes, that is who you think it is. Photoshop is fun.

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing it.

This Mark..;)..I actually have one, but for the Musket not pistol.

The gunslinger already needs lots of help, gimping him a feat? No way.
Not to turn this into a gunslinger thread, but I did try to make a gunslinger the other day, and it is difficult. I was having a hard time with feat choices. Especially for a dual pistol wielding gunslinger. You need ranged feats for the pistols, but if you want to swing a sword, you aren't going to be very good at it without melee feats. And a gunslinger already gets fewer feats.

Painlord's 4 Characters of Awesome
So you want us to create a character for you, eh? Well, all I can do is ask you to try out one of the following builds.
#1: This taleslinger sports a hefty 8 charisma and loves to sit in judgement of others. His songs are only those of suffering and woe, and there is no pity within him.
Class: Bard
Alignment: Painful Neutral
Race: Half Orc
Traits: Sadism, Bloodlust
Feats: Judgement, Remorelessness
He goes by the name: Vyle Bard
#2: This small combatant combines the power of a witch with the charisma of a cavalier. Save money for the Obsidian Gnat figurine as it's core this build.
Class: Witch 5/Cavalier
Alignment: Chaotic Friendly
Race: Small small halfling
Witch Hexes: Fly, Cackle
Feats: Post-on-any-topic, Funny
Traits: 24 posting, Awesomeness
He goes by the name: FlyLightKnight
#3: This disciple of Cayden Cailean is part-goon, part wine soaked sot. You'll find him patrolling the boards at all hours of the day and night, no thread is safe from his posts. With his glinty eyes and his flagon of thuggery, you'll love him!
Class: Gunslinger
Alignment: Southern Neutral
Race: Human
Feats: Extra posts, Cheap Shots (mudslinger prestige feat)
Traits: 24 posting, Quick post
He goes by the name: FlagnGoon
#4: This one is for all the gnome haters out there...and I know there are quite a few of you. All ranger, all the time with this build. Favorite Enemy=Fey, then more fey again. Pair with fey-bane cold iron weapon. Now you're hating fey in style!
Class: Ranger
Alignment: Super friendly
Race: Human
Feats: Gnome hater, Iron Wit
Traits: Good humor, Smurfhater
She goes by the name: Fey-yeah Beaters

I've got a collection of character's I've made at 1st level but will probably never get a chance to play since I already have 6 characters now. Here's one you might find fun. (I was going to provide several but it turned out to be more typing then expected. Maybe I'll add more later if enough interest shows)
Galvin
Human Blue-Dragon Sorcerer LN (Asmodeous for access to Infernal Healing, can easily be changed though)
Str 18
Dex 14
Con 14
Int 7
Wis 12
Cha 12
Faction Taldor
Traits: Precocious Spellcaster - Shocking Grasp
Magical Lineage - Shocking Grasp
Feats:
Toughness, Reach Spell
Spells Known:
Shocking Grasp
whatever
Skill Points: Knowledge Arcana, Intimidate, Use Magic Device.
HP 11
The character will predominantly cast Shocking Grasp, eventually using higher level spell slots to cast metamagic versions of them.
Character fights with Dragon Claws from Sorcerer and 2d6+2 Shocking Grasps at level 1. (potentially both together)
For maximum glass cannon power get an amulet of mighty fists [spell storing] and pick up empower spell at 3. At 4th level you could claw somebody for 1d4+5 +14d6+10 by using an empowered shocking grasp along with an empowered shocking grasp from the amulet.
5th level I recommend Intensify and at 7th Quicken.
After 5th level go Dragon Disciple
Metamagic Rods such as Ectoplasmic, Merciful and Elemental Spell can help you overcome problems. For a second level spell Spectral Hand is useful as way to attack at range (with an extra +2) without using Reach Spell.
PS. Painlord: my 6th character is Farak, the Real Greatest Mage in Absalom

Yep, there are a lot of pretenders out there...but only one true "The Greatest Mage in *ALL* of Absalom".

How about an Elven Bard. Good Cha, and High Int with the Breadth of Experience feat from the APG. Your Knowledge skills would be through the roof. Starting Knowledge's at 10 would mean you will probably be able to figure out the weak spot of anything. Take Spellcraft, and Use Magic Device and tell everyone you are a Wizard. See how long it takes the rest of the party to figure out that you are a bard.

...and tell everyone you are a Wizard. See how long it takes the rest of the party to figure out that you are a bard.
About as long as it would take for me to use Inspire Courage, which ought to be within the first 3 combat encounters or so.
Ok, so narrowing it down, here is my narrowed down race/class list, though the rest of the details from the suggestion are taken out. We'll get to those after this is decided.
Elven Inquisitor
Halfling Cavalier (Samurai)
Human FIghter
Elven Bard
If you would, please vote for one of these. Whatever has the most votes by Tuesday morning will be what I use.

I vote for the elf bard.

While not exactly PF characters, fun roleplaying characters could be
Adipose Avatar (prestige class)
Vermin Lord - focusing on butterflies and similarly glamorous critters
I'm in the process of starting out a 3.5 evil campaign and there are some amazing evil choices out there.
Be evil. Raze orphanages. Good times.

Alright, since it was a tie between the bard and the inquisitor, I asked my wife to provide the tiebreaker, not telling her what all Ive got on here. She voted Inquisitor.
So, elf inquisitor. Now for stats. Offer me up some stat sets, and I'll pick the ones I like and let you all vote on those again.
Remember, PFS is 20pt buy, and please include in the stats whether or not its got the elf racial mods added in.

I'd definitely move a point from Int to Con. Con 9 sucks, and Int 13 is only useful for Feat prerequisites. Actually, I'd do the whole thing differently:
Str 12 (2) Dex 16 (5) Con 10 (2) Int 14 (2) Wis 15 (7) Chr 12 (2)
You'll take a hit in melee effectiveness, but your spellcasting will actually be good, and the Int more than makes up for the slightly lower Chr. Just make sure to actually have any social skills you want. Raise Wis at 4th and probably Dex after that. Maybe grab Weapon Finesse if you want to use that curveblade in melee with any regularity.

AdAstraGames |

A Con of 9 can be compensated for at 4th level with a stat boost. Yes, you're going to be fragile at low levels; this is why you have friends.
And you can heal yourself.
The highest level spell an Inquisitor will be casting in PFS play will be 4th level, late in the career (that's the 8th level stat boost to WIS).
Bumping INT at 12th level gives 12 more skill points for your final adventure.
I'd prioritize feats as follows:
1st: Breadth of Experience
3rd: Combat Expertise
5th: Improved Feint
7th: Weapon Focus
9th: Dazzling Display
11th: ??
Weapon Focus is better than Weapon Finesse with the stat line I gave - both give a net +1 to hit; Weapon Focus leads to Dazzling Display.
