Hmm...
Jordon, you and I could disguise ourselves as guards, and try to bluff our way in. These guys are new workers, ready to start this evening?
If Jordon Acquiesces, before we disguise, I'll give us each a hit of Heroism from my wand. +2 morale bonus on attack rolls, saves, and skill checks, 40 minute duration.

Jordon nods to Roger, and moves his hand in front of his face (and activates his hat of disguise). As he does so, his face becomes ruinous and decayed, resembling one of the undead the group has already encountered (we'll say one of the guys menacing the woman). He says in a pretty poor gurgly undead voice, "Good idea." Then Jordon clears his throat and practices a few more times to get the voice right. He then gets in a bit of practice with improper posture and shuffling as he waits for Roger's disguise.

Roger, after he uses heroism on himself and Jordon, casts disguise self, turning into the other undead that was harassing the woman. He practices a few times, until he can get the voice about right, and nods. You guys, don't talk, alright? It'll be easier that way. And Tobar, you can get in here. Anyone under 200lbs can also get in. It might make this easier if we don't have many new recruits. Anyone have rope, or manacles?
As he speaks directly to Tobar, he's taking out his Bag of Holding.

The guards at the door barely react to your presence. "Prisoner?" one of them asks. "Put him in the lock-up." They shuffle aside to let you in, and you step into a small lobby. In front of you is a door to the large smithing area, where several undead beat at red-hot shafts of iron. To the side is a set of stairs leading to an upper level.
Victor Klepke |
Sorry, I feel a little lost. Am I pretending to be a prisoner? Or am I sneaking in behind them, crouching a bit and using them for cover? I'd prefer to be sneaking, if possible. Doing so and taking 10 would give me a 17. Taking 10 on a bluff check to act like a prisoner would give me a 13.

Jordon Narciso |
If Tobar were to stop Jordon and tug on his clothing, and tell him he needs cover, Jordon could hide him underneath his disguise's clothing. After all, he's really skinny, and I could've made the disguise with a large overcoat or something similar. As for Victor, I don't really have any idea there; I don't think we can fit all three of us under my disguise's coat...

Guards' perception: 1d20 ⇒ 19
As Tobar and Victor skulk along the edge of the building, a guard raises a shout. "Oy, you lot! Hold it right there! Intruders!"
You can hear the hurried footsteps of the undead chasing you, and they seem to be only seconds away. However above you is a dimly-lit window, covered with soot.

Ah, I'd missed that vanishing. Ignore that last post, and read this one instead:
Victor scrambles at the wall, but can't find purchase on the bricks. Two undead run up to where he tried to climb up, and Victor goes rigid waiting for them to pass. They look puzzled for a moment, then fan out into the bushes to look for that guy they swore they saw...

Victor Klepke |
Victor takes a few minutes to search the area, looking for any sort of identifying marks on the ironworks (boss's initials, perhaps?) or other documentation, clues, secrets, etc. Unless interrupted, I'll take 20 on Perception, for a final result of 28 looking for clues/secrets. If I don't have that long, then I guess I take 10 for an 18. Oh, and I'm not invisible anymore, but I'll try to be quiet, taking 10 on Stealth for 17.

You're stunned for 1d4 ⇒ 3 rounds.
The undead in the main smithing area don't look up as you enter, instead just mindlessly pounding away at their work. The heat in the room is stifling, but they don't seem to care. Some of the undead seem to be fresher than others, even as little as a few days (un)dead. There's a closed door on the far side of the room, and a large open door way to your left, full of cauldrons of red-hot molten iron.

Everyone you see appears to be undead.
When you reach the door on the opposite side, you see that it's locked from the inside. One of the undead smiths looks up at you dully. "The Master's busy," he mumbles, and goes back to his work.
Meanwhile, back at the tavern, Vinny is leading the patrons in a rousing rendition of "The Hedgehog Can Never Be Buggered."
