Endregaard - Day 5 - The Prize
The CSA man grimaces as he looks at the map, "Dammit that's far from here. Alright, well, I've at least got to leave a few of my men here to take a look around. You understand Kadavo, I'll just need to come back if I don't write some kind of report that we inspected this site".

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Day 5 - The Prize
The CSA Officer shakes your hand, "Great". He turns to his subordinates, I Expect a thorough report gentlemen".
That said he and his fleet of another dozen or so speeder bikes take off in pursuit of the ship that the Sith rigged to explode.
The CSA men turn to Cardis, one is all business "Alright, let's start that search!"

Taras Vaskor |

Oh, just two? In that case...
Taras waits until the rest of the CSA soldiers are well gone, and when the businesslike man speaks up, he turns his head to look at Noss before stepping forward. "Yes, let's." In a flurry of motion his lightsaber is in his hand, carving up in two swift slashes that hopefully drop the man to the ground in pieces.
Go-Go-Gadget Saber Swarm: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22 Force Point: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2 You're kidding, ouch. I guess that's a -5 to the attacks then.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 13 - 5 ⇒ (4) + 13 - 5 = 12 You're kidding me. Even flat-footed I doubt their Reflex is that low.
Damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (8, 7) + 14 = 29
Attack 2: 1d20 + 13 - 5 ⇒ (17) + 13 - 5 = 25
Damage: 2d8 + 14 ⇒ (4, 5) + 14 = 23
Well, I might need a bit of help.

Cardis Rin |

Cardis draws out his disruptor pistol and fires it off at the same one Taras just attacked, saying, "I'm terribly sorry about this, but you are far too great of a risk to leave alive."
Disruptor Pistol, PBS: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 8 + 1 = 15 Force Point: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3 17 total. That may not be enough.
Damage, PBS: 3d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3, 6) + 4 + 1 = 16 Treat damage threshold as 5 lower. If I beat it, a limb gets disintegrated.

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Day 5 - The Prize
As Taras softens the first one up, Cardis finishes him off!
The second one moves to draw his blaster, "Hey!" Is all he can exclaim he is so shocked by the turn of events.
Noss, you have the pleasure of killing the remaining CSA Inspector!

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

If he's dead, I literally just disintegrated a guy. Go me.
Yes, a Mars Attacks moment right in the Star Wars Expanded Universe! But from now on No Disintegrations!

Noss Varra |

Noss runs out at the remaining CSA, his hands dropping to his waist to pluck his lightsabers. But he snarls in frustration as only one lightsaber is there... Damned disguise!!
Taking up his lone lightsaber, he slashes the man with great vigor and anger...
Attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25
Damage: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 6 = 12

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Day 5 - The Prize
Noss cuts the man's arm clean off before he can reach for his blaster. Praxis' saber finishes the job.
Biggs shrugs, "Interesting merc tools you all got there. I gotta say Orgamon, your people may want to start being a bit more informative as this dialogue of ours develops..."
The Nikto eye the group warily after they dismantle and disintegrate the CSA men almost faster than once can blink!
Orgamon looks back at Cardis, "Ask questions again, let's see what we get now..."

Cardis Rin |

Cardis shrugs back to Biggs, "As you may have heard, Jedi can be quite the valuable prize if you're willing to deal with the right buyer. It helps to counter them with their own weapons." Smiling as he hefts the disruptor, he says, "And sometimes to throw a little surprise their way."
Holstering his disruptor pistol, Cardis calmly walks over to the Nikto and says, "Now, which way did Mika go?"

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Day 5 - The Prize
Despite the not so veiled threat, the Nikto stick to the story as they claim it is the truth. Mercenaries came the day before, one wielding a Lightsaber, and journeyed with Mika away from here.
Orgamon shrugs, "They went back in direction of Tel Bollin though whether they went there my people do not know..."

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Day 5 - The Prize
Orgamon turns to his companion and asks.
He turns back, "It was a sail barge. How odd, I thought the Masters sail barge was damaged..."
All in agreement, back to Tel Bollin?

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Day 5 - The Prize
Remember, the group pushed through to get here. Getting back will cause you all to suffer fatigue from lack of sleep.
Do you bring any spice with you? You cannot fit much but you could pack a crate on the back of the transport.

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Early Morning Day 6 - Tel Bollin
After placing a single crate on the transport, the Sith Agents leave the Hutt's men behind.
Cardis Piloting - 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21 Once more, Cardis is able to navigate the forest at night and avoid any wilderness dangers that the planet may hold.
Fatigued, the Sith return to the city of Tel Bollin. As you arrive on the outskirts you see a set of IRDs' making rounds as if patrolling around the city. If starships are being used to patrol from the sky something must have gone down.
Biggs and Cardis are exhausted while the Nikto Orgamon got some shut eye.
Where do you want to head within the city? Skydove Freight was clearly a location that Orgamon thought important enough to leave a message in. Orgamon is also with you bust asleep so you culd always wake him and ask him.

Cardis Rin |

Cardis wakes the sleeping Nikto and asks, "Where would Miko have gone to ground once retrieved. I know you left the message in Skydove Freight, but are there other locations?"
Cardis will also try to think of anywhere big enough in the city to hide a sail barge.
Knowledge (galactic lore): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Early Morning Day 6 - Tel Bollin
Orgamon snaps up, "Hmmm. No, Skydove Freight is the company that Mika owns, its where he would have gone if he came back or maybe City Hall..."
Cardis has not seen the entire city but it is unlikely that a sail barge could hide for very long without being accosted based on the current situation here. Asking locals may be a good way to ascertain if it returned.

Taras Vaskor |

"Let's check the Freight location first," Taras says, peering out the cockpit. "I'd wager the Hutt is most interested in getting offworld. The sooner we find his trail the better. We don't want to wait for anyone to catch up."

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Early Morning Day 6 - Tel Bollin
Do you want to pilot the transport to Skydove or move into Tel Bollin a more circumspect fashion?

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Early Morning Day 6 - Tel Bollin
The Sith Agents head to Skydove Freight with all possible haste.

Taras Vaskor |

Perception: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26 Third time's the charm.
"Wait!" Taras hisses, a hand reaching out to touch the pilot's chair. "There. See them?" He points to the people and vehicles around the site. "Agents of the DCA. They're sure to cause trouble if we go in openly. Do we want this fight?"
Taras's tone is calm, so it isn't clear what answer he thinks is best... if he has a preference at all.

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Early Morning Day 6 - Tel Bollin
Praxis nods and hops out of the transport as Cardis settles it a few blocks away from the CSA presence.
After several minutes Praxis returns, shaking his head, "No Hutt. No Skiff. However, all was not in vain. The guards were discussing the fact that someone blasted their way off the planet just yesterday.
That's why there's all the heightened security. On top of that, a Jedi came staggering into the compound, claimed his ship was rigged to self destruct and it killed a few of his companions and badly burned him. Wonder who could have done such a thing..." He grins.

Cardis Rin |

"While it's good to know that booby trap was useful, unless Miko was on that ship, it's not the most ideal outcome." Cardis sighs. If they had failed in this mission, Darth Wyyrlock wasn't likely to be too forgiving. "Alright, here's the plan. This town isn't big enough to hide a sail barge for very long. We need to find out where the sail barge went. If that ship that blasted out of here has Miko on it, we need to find out where it's going and pursue it. Let's move."
Okay, so, I'm thinking ask around about the sail barge, hoping that the ship didn't have Miko on it. If it did, well, I suspect we don't succeed in our mission. If we come up dry on the sail barge, we can check if he's at city hall.

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Early Morning Day 6 - Tel Bollin
Biggs and Orgamon nods in agreement. It is easy to see that Biggs is fidgety, his chance to get away from the planet has just gotten more complicated while the Nikto is clearly concerned for the well being of his Master Mika (you're assuming).
Do you remain within the transport you are in or ditch it?
Do you approach the CSA to gather information (if so then who?) or just the locals?
Do you make your way to City Hall as you engage in questioning?

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Early Morning Day 6 - Tel Bollin
Persuasion check DC 20 to get a local to tell you what they may or may not, know about sail barge sightings. You are still in a CSA transport and there is not much trust between them and the populace right now. Each PC may make 1 check. A botch indicates an altercation.
Gather Information DC 20 to speak to locals to find out where City Hall is. You are still in a CSA transport and there is not much trust between them and the populace right now. A botch indicates an altercation.

Noss Varra |

Persuation, DC20: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Gather Info, DC20: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Noss leans out of the transport and attract the notice a few dirty looking street kids. Smiling unctuously ,he manages to pull some information from them.

Gamemaster the Dark Side |

Endregaard - Mid-Day 6 - Tel Bollin
Despite questioning a number of locals, who approach only once they are convinced your group is in fact not CSA, you discover that no sail barge has been seen in the city since before the outbreak of the plague on Endregaard.
Furthermore, you are also told that the increased IRD presence is due to a ship blasting its way off of the planet yesterday! "If I was you I'd ditch that CSA vehicle. People are getting real tired of them round here!"
Noss manages to get directions and once the sun is in its zenith above the city, you find the dilapidated City Hall. A broken City Hall of Tel Bollin sign fallen from above the door partially blocks the entrance. As you approach you see on a bench next to the stairs leading up is a man who appears to be dead, succumbed to the plague. Biggs looks at the body warily as he passes. The Nikto ignores it completely.
As you reach the top of the stairs you find the doors were chained closed and were then cut open. If you are all not mistaken, the way the chain was cut it would appear a lightsaber was used to do the job...
What do you do?

Cardis Rin |

The lack of sleep, coupled with the fact that none of the locals had seen the sail barge, has Cardis in a foul mood. Walking up to the run-down city hall, he looks at the doors with a chain that looks to have been cut by a lightsaber, draws out his disruptor pistol, turns on a glow rod, and kicks open the door before striding into the supposedly abandoned city hall.

Taras Vaskor |

Taras glances at Cardis and grins under his helmet. "Are we done kriffing around, then?" With a flick of his wrist, his lightsaber in his hand, and as he steps inside he ignites it--the red energy casting a grim light into the building.
"Good."
