@GM Devildoc: I've signed up with Rogar Valertis Alastoris (lvl3 Fighter see avatar for details). Up to this point he has always proven dependable as a character, and if needed he has the enough money and PP for wand of clw and a cloak of resistance.
Let me know if he's considered too weak/inexperienced for this.

Thanks.

I would be concerned about the low level, but the high ac and the decent hp gives you a better chance of survival. I would recommend those purchases though. I will not refuse anyone to enter this game as long as they are in tier and do so with full knowledge of the possible repercussions.

That being said, that gives us three on the list.. Do we have one more brave soul out there?

*Note, the comments about emerald spire vs thornkeep are very valid, but I am not in a position where I would feel comfortable committing to running the whole thing.. and anything less would be an injustice to the players IMHO.

- INACTIVE (finished campaign) -

I am already running through Emerald Spire in both CORE and standard mode. I'll skip on Thornkeep this time around. I'll consider it when a GM runs it once I have a level 5 character.

Then I'll spend 2 PP for the wand of clw, 2 PP for a wand of mage armor and 1000 gp for a cloack of resistance. It should give Rogar an edge, if there's someone in the party willing to use those for him. Btw a cleric or oracle could do wonders for the survivability of the party... :P

Thornkeep is brutal having played through it. Bonekeep too.

Have not played Emerald Spire yet so....

Also I have Updated for Hall for Flesh Eaters.

- INACTIVE (finished campaign) -

Emerald Spire is tough, I have seen characters hit negative HP more times in that module than in all other PFS secenarios I have played combined, but I've only seen one death--long story short my Paladin went solo to try to cut off an escaping enemy's exit route while the party went directly after him; he ended up dead. My first res experience!

Rogar, you don't want a wand of mage armor. The Armor bonus it gives won't stack with your plate. You would want a Wand of Shield, but it has a range of Personal, so you'd have to be the one to use it. Without any UMD ranks you want a Wand of Shield of Faith OR Protection From Evil. The friendly caster can use that on you.

|Ruins |WBGoblins|RotRL| Emerald Spire|

^^^All very good points. I am playing through the Spire now, and we have had it pretty good so far. Seen some pretty good fights and my slayer has been knocked pretty low a few times, but nothing where the whole party was worried about not making it.

Keeping my eyes open for low-tier games kicking off as I'm eager to get a few new concept characters going.

Thanks for the heads up, I think I'll go with the Protection from evil wand. Hoping this is not one of those rare scenarios where you face neutral only opponents, encountering evil is usually a pretty safe bet, and the spell has several advantages over shield of faith (same AC bonus and duration but better saves and other interesting stuff).

Edit: instead of the claok of protection I could get my MW full plate enchanted to +1, AC 23 while fighting 2 handed, AC 25 while fighting with shield, AC 24 while fighting against an opponent only threatened by me with a two handed weapon or AC 26 if doing the same while using shield against an opponent only threatened by me. It would help make Rogar pretty decent unless opponents are very good at hitting things.

I'll decide what to do when the game starts and I'll make sure to ask you to put the p0urchases on my character sheet.

Greetings everyone, DM Rah here!
I'm going to run Scenario #6–06: Hall of the Flesh Eaters (Tier 1-5). My Sign-up sheet is linked above, or here for your convenience.

I already have the following signed up on my sheet:
-Mike Garlington
-nightdeath
-Great Green God
However, I'm not sure when these three put down their names, or if they are still available, so please update your character notes when possible.

Both Callan and G'Boar have started other scenarios recently, but I have a core built Rogue, Hun, free if he's a fit... otherwise there are a LOT of folks looking for lower tier games here (just like me!) If not a fit I will catch you next time!

I'm not concerned about whether a character fits, as long as you think you will have a good time. Keep in mind though, that this is not a Core Campaign game (just in case your rogue was trying to stick to them).

... And once a character goes non-core, it can't go back.

Male Human

Roger... Tracking all... I think I will keep Hun Core for now. Please give my slot to the next deserving adventurer out there. I will sit at your table, soon... DM Rah! ;)

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, so I'll take my name off the list. Pregen gear tends to be bad overall, haha.

I hear the Swashbuckler and Samurai pregens are actually very good. The clause "pregens are bad" feels like a misnomer.

Of course, Harsk the Ranger sucks.

@ DM Devildoc: A suggestion if I may, open up a thread in Recruitment abiut the game for one spot. It usually fills in a very short time. You could even ask for a precise kind of character if you think team ballance demands it.

I may have to, but I prefer to use this page.. I have found that the games and the players here are more interested in playing the game as opposed to just harvesting chronicles. The games that I have played from here are leaps and bounds better than most of the games that I have found on the regular recruitment boards, so this was my first choice for finding layers. <Big shout out and thumbs up to the Flaxseed community!!!>

@ Sir Peter: this is for lvls 3-5, but higher the better.

I am tempted to bring my level 5 inquisitor. He was part ok f a team of 4 that barely survived the prior level of Thornkeep thanks to a GM allowing our wiped party to be taken prisoner instead of CDGd right off. Still barely made it after fighting the boss and henchmen in our skivvies.

So I'm at least leaning to try. Will decide a EOD.

Well, if you'll take a pregen, then I'm in.

Same here. I just signed up for Kyra as a pregen, since cleric seemed like a good idea to round out the party, but I am open to other suggestions too...

I just signed up. The spot was listed as an alternate, but I was the 6th in.

TomG, what pregen are you leaning towards?

FWIW, my Skald is a Spell Warrior, so instead of giving everyone rage I give everyone magical weapons (or add properties to their weapons if they're already magical).

The character list seems a little light on melee, so I was thinking maybe swashbuckler? I wanted to try kineticist, but it seemed to complex for without spending a bunch of time with the OA book, and I've heard good things about Swashbuckler and Samurai. I'm also open to requests.

I'd love to see mbauers get to join as #6

I think Crowe the Bloodrager is pretty decent, IIRC, if you're looking for some melee beef.

Nice. While we are talking about to play the scenario I was in the 6's. Now I'm out in the signup sheet. =)

Signed up for table two with a pregen, for funsies, as it seems that people are going in with pregens as well. Besides, Yoon's gear isn't half bad, for a pregen.

If a certain game ends before this starts up, I'll be switching to the character I wanted to play as.
