Will have an update soon, but yes, Maellyra and Spitter are correct that Pavo was seperated in the mist, so I was going to rule the actions taken involve doing what she is doing: double moving to seek out Pavo.
So my hacker in my Shadowrun game is in the wind. I'm giving them about a day to check in before I go looking to replace them, but I'm sending out some feelers ahead of time in case anyone is interested.
This was the first run for this game, so they were still learning to work together as a group (and not doing a great job at it yet, lol, but that's the difference between a game about heroes and one about criminals) so a new character will not disrupt things at all and will be easy to slide in.
4th. I have a complete digital library of that edition and like the timeline, but recognize it has many issues. Believe me, if I had the right files I'd go straight 1st. No, seriously. I miss staging, lol.
I'm slowly getting back up to speed and plan on updating this game ASAP. Look for us to get moving again in the next 24 hours, hope everyone is good! :)
Anyone heard from Ro'gram at all? Been a busy weekend with the holiday and my GF's bday, but will bot his next action if he doesn't post soon. Pretty sure he would try and press in on the ledge, stand shoulder to shoulder with Leng.
He posted elsewhere that he currently has only his phone for posting at this time and it's very difficult. I'm sure he'd understand if you needed to bot him for a round.
So...I suspect this will not be the only time this situation may come up. Spellcaster is both threatened and entangled, I can't find anything official on a quick scan, and am assuming I am just overlooking something obvious since this has surely come up in someone's game before, but does anyone have an idea? I'm hesitant to do two separate checks for the same action, considering making it a -2 or triple spell level+15 instead of double.
Hopefully Spitter does something to buy me time and ends the fight, heh.
He must make a concentration check for each instance:
* First, make a Concentration check vs. the entangle. If it fails, he is unable to cast the spell at all, so no check for casting while threatened is necessary.
* Second, make a Concentration check vs. the attack of opportunity. If it fails, he fumbles the spell.
The table below summarizes various types of distractions that cause you to make a Concentration check. If the distraction occurs while you are trying to cast a spell, you must add the level of the spell you are trying to cast to the appropriate Concentration DC. If more than one type of distraction is present, make a check for each one; any failed Concentration check indicates that the task is not completed.
Feel free to poke around and loot, find Nighttail, catch up with the captives waiting for an escort home, etc. as you like. I will be looking at experience and refreshing myself on happenings around town.
After the completion of the first chapter, which is nowish, I'm going to give you all time to recover, shop, talk to townsfolk, follow minor threads and so on. As players, expect a couple of days of down time and wrapping up the loose ends.
The Baroness and her son still have tasks that capable adventurers are the best fit to take care of...
Oh, and I suspect you will be ready to level, but I will let you know as soon as I have some experience numbers crunched.
Lol, I will get some of the answers to these questions tomorrow, yeah, there are keys on the chief, and some detect magic would help in other ways. But yeah, update on my end coming soon.
