Posting to set up the relevant PC Hive Mind thread for players in my soon-to-commence Numenera PbP.
Location of the game in-world begins at Guran, the City of the Missing at the south end of the Black Riage.
Nearby out-of-town landmarks include the Amber Citadel, a mysterious derelict structure carved out of a strange slab of material said to be the same as the Amber Monolith that plays such an important role for the Order of the Truth; the town of Quintas to the north-east; and the insular town of Panop to the west-southwest.

As a note, I'd really appreciate if players can include their character type (adjective noun who verbs) and their pools in the information that displays under the name.

So we have Aneon's pets being disturbed by Yel. Yel is bothered by how the machines around Jacinthe seem to be annoyed at her presence. Jacinthe knows Zith from prior haunts and wants to impress him. Zith dropped his usual life of crime for a life of confidence games because Aneon owes him and being in jail won't let him collect.

So... When will the IC thread start?

Once I have the mechanics on the remaining character, Aneon Kanbe, David's beast-controlling nano.

I've talked to David about his request about the equipment he wanted. If what I've offered him is something he can live with, we'll likely be starting soon.

The game has commenced! Opening date: 1/1/901, location: Guran, the City of the Missing.

I'll still be collecting some information from some people, but things are now rolling.

I disappeared because our internet went out for hours, so I also lost the record of our conversation and what info my rolls got. Hope I remember it correctly. :(

Yep. It's Stealth unless otherwise noted.

...If the four players don't mind, I may occasionally award achievements. Get a relatively amusing set on your character profile and I might decide they qualify for a bonus of some kind. Or maybe I'll just be laughing the whole way.

Either way beats me rolling the D30 of Doom.

When you say "That Place", does Zith know what that means?

He's heard of it enough to know that it refers to the patch of forest across the river from Yel's new digs.

Yel has unlocked the following achievement:

Treppa/Jacinthe has unlocked the following achievement:
