The sound started off as a low rumble that gradually grew and grew before ending with a crash, as much like real thunder as drums could sound like. Then she paused for a moment before starting the process all over again.
When there was a pause in the second go Cameron let's loose a musical howl with his violin, fitting perfectly in with the thunderous drum beats.
"You definitely need to eat as much as you can. A pretty girl like you doesn't need to be so thin. If you can put on a little extra, it might keep you from nearly passing out when your powers kick on. I think you'll get used to the magic diet soon enough."
Apparently Tybalt has a bit of Italian Grandmother somewhere in his soul.
He continues going at his meal with gusto.
"So, I don't quite know what your power is. It isn't magic and it isn't psionics, so I don't really know what to call it. So, unless you're part ghost, I really don't know where it comes from. We can maybe take you to the infirmary after we check back in with Tryko'Sam and get a scan to see if we can find anything. I do know that if we can figure out what your powers are, the school can probably help you control them. Gah this food is great. I love this place."

I'm not entirely sure of the events of yesterday, but the Headmaster told me that the team which originally contained her thought that they had contained the virus as well. I'm not sure what the nature of the disease is, but you may want to place Avalon in lockdown for the moment. Most of us who are here are also infected if my guess is correct." Tyrrin says grimly through the radio connection, watching David fly off to buy them some time."I... fear the townspeople it has infected are already dead, but I do not want to risk actually killing them if they are still alive. Professor Yrrum has identified it has a sentient virus - it is alive, which is why I contacted you concerning the woman. Magical disease removal does very little or nothing. I was going to try an anti-magic field to see if that breaks the hive-mind at least. If you have any suggestions, please let me know."
There's a slight pause before Tyrrin speaks again. "And should we fall, please tell those to whom I am close that I apologize for being reckless."
"That is not going to happen," she said fiercely. "You are going to be fine and you can make your own apologies."
She hit a different button on her headband. "Ryo, the team in town has discovered that the townsfolk are affected by the virus from the girl we have in quarantine. Some of it must have escaped us last night. They're very aggressive and may or may not be alive. You need someone working on examining her right now. Tyrrin says that most of their team is infected as well."

Dom reaches down and scoops up a hand full of water from a puddle. "We will need to act before the infected attack."
Vai pushes herself to her feet (all fours) once again and reinvigorated from the healing energies of both Phaezeriel and Yrrin. The energies flow through her and push the arrows buried deep inside her flesh out, and they clatter to the floor. A sense of relief of thankfulness flow out along the psychic connection, but Vai is to focused at the moment to actually communicate. Instead, she leaps into the air and vanishes, only the reappear behind the one facing Yrrin, striking with a claw before vanishing once again, only to reappear this time near one of the archers that had so crippled her. She swipes a wing at that one before continuing her bewildering assault by vanishing and reappearing behind the same archer, delivering a full set of blows with tooth, claw, wing and tail.
While her attack against Yrrin's foe did not penetrate his thick blackened skin, he /does/ turn to look for this new threat (granting Yrrin a flank bonus on his next turn)
Vai's assault leaves the archer bloodied and hurting, but alive. One last time, Vai vanishes, only for her bulk to re-appear at Sadie's side, landing on the ground, one of her claws dripping black blood.
"I'll see what i can do to avoid harming the houses... I haven't used this spell quite like this, but i can probobly make a pebble into a flood..."

He smiles a bit despite his aching head and tries again. This time the strain is less immediate, but it still takes a few moments before he stops.

"Maybe I can ease that aching head a little as well." Repp says, brushing Anthony with his hand and the headache cools slightly, but doesn't disappear completely.

I do have some good news, I think everything will be just fine with Zilla. I had a little talk with her. thre is still some rough spots, but I think we will still be friends.

There's a slight pause. "You are a little skinny, from what I know of humanoids. Maybe it was the breasts that Tryko'Sam liked? He did focus on them a little." Rena suggests (with a lilt in her voice that suggests that she didn't mind his focus), noting Asha's fairly flat chest.
